Bronx teen says NYPD cops stalked him after bogus arrest

The progress from Western colonial global expansion, and the construction of American wealth and industry on the backs of enslaved Blacks and Native peoples, followed by the abrupt "emancipation" of the slaves and their exodus from the South to the Northern cities, has led us to our current divided society. Divided by economic inequities and unequal access to social resources, the nation lives in a media dream of social harmony, or did until YouTube set its bed on fire. Now, it is common knowledge that our current system of brutal racist policing and punitive over-incarceration serves the dual purpose of maintaining racial prejudice and the inequities it justifies. A Bronx teen says two NYPD cops roughed him up and then stalked him after a judge dismissed and sealed his arrest.

Kymani Johnson’s ordeal prompted his attorney to send a letter on Wednesday to Police Commissioner James O’Neill demanding the two officers from the 47th Precinct “cease and desist in their harassment of Mr. Johnson.”

Hours after a judge tossed charges of resisting arrest and obstruction against Johnson, 19, the cops appeared at his home, video obtained by the Daily News shows.

“This is gonna be our second home here ... I hope you’re behaving,” one of the cops said.
