Zionists Are Freaking Out About Losing Control Of The Narrative Caitlin Johnstone Nov 18, 2025

Former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz made some very revealing remarks during an appearance at the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly on Sunday, expressing frustration with the way younger Jews are dismissing pro-Israel arguments because of the carnage they've seen in Gaza.
Nick Fuentes RAISES ALARM Over Netanyahu SECRET PLOT to TAKE HIM OUT Openminded Reporter Nov 27, 2025 #NickFuentes #AmericaFirst #RumbleExclusive
In this explosive new video, Nick Fuentes delivers one of his most direct and uncompromising commentaries yet, arguing that Organized Jewry and its media allies are scrambling to silence him, replace him, and erase his influence from American political discourse. Fuentes breaks down the escalating pressure campaigns, censorship efforts, coordinated smears, and behind-the-scenes operations designed to shut down his movement at the very moment it continues to grow. He explains why the establishment is terrified of independent voices, why political dissidents are facing unprecedented suppression, and how the battle for free speech has never been more urgent or more real.
Nick also exposes the networks working overtime to manufacture replacements and controlled-opposition figures meant to distract from the America First message. This video dives into the stakes of the cultural war, the future of dissident politics, and the determination of elites to maintain control of the narrative. Whether you agree with him or not, Fuentes lays out a perspective that forces viewers to confront the truth about media power, political engineering, and the real motives shaping public opinion today. If you want uncensored analysis, raw commentary, and insights you won’t hear anywhere else, this is the video to watch. Join the conversation, share your thoughts, and stay locked in for more deep dives into the battles defining America’s political future.

[Nick Fuentes] For one reason and one reason only. It's because people are waking up about our Jewish oligarchy. That's it. And we all know why. All of them are Jewish. All of them have a special affinity for Israel. And by all of them, I mean all these people that have spoken out in the past few weeks. When these Jewish people get together at the North American Jewish Federation, at the Republican Jewish Coalition, at the World Jewish Congress, at the Conference for Major American Jewish organizations, and they get up on stage and right, left and center, they get up and they decry the anti-semites on the left and on the right, Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, Assan [ __ ] and Zelron Mani. The only reason they're saying these things is because they are here as a foreign entity to lobby and manipulate the American public to support their country. For over three days, I have kept um watching Nick Fuentes, you know, probing his um his styles and most of the things he say to know whether they are compatible with the values of this channel and I can tell you that what he has been doing so far is completely compatible with what we do here in the channel because he's hitting the enemies of America. and enemies of humanity, especially those who have kept a Gaza and the Palestinians in this situation where they are right now. So he released a video that a organized jury is scrambling to replace me. Well, I agree with this statement in the first place because immediately Charlie Kirk died. Ben Shapiro said he was going to start his own online tour, campus tour. the campus tour he's going to start is to strengthen what was it Charlie Kirk has done so far and that was a red flag for those who were mourning Charlie Cook. This is the guy that interviewed Charlie Kirk 48 hours before he was murdered and the way his faces were were at that day was telling. It was obvious he wasn't comfortable with Charlie Kirk trying to probe, trying to look deeper into what the Israeli lobby is doing in America. I wouldn't play that clip. Let's just listen to Nick Fus and see really what what he has to say. I'll be right back. Last week I did an extended show talking about all these Jewish conferences. It's I I know how that sounds, but it's what it is. It's so weird because you talk to normal people and you feel like a crazy person, but you look at these things and what else are you supposed to say? I did a whole show about it last week. I go on Tucker Carlson's show. It's really an uneventful interview. It's not even the best interview I've ever given. It's pretty boring, honestly. And it causes an international crisis. It's another holocaust. The anti-semites are at the gates, you know, and it's in the New York Times five days a week. It's in the Washington Post. And the president is talking about it. People are making a personal appeal to the vice president. The speaker of the house is getting involved. And then on the sideline of all that, the organized Jewish community is freaking out and they hold their meetings. You know, that's just how it works. They go to Las Vegas for the Republican Jewish Coalition Summit. The Republican Jewish Coalition is what it is. And Mark Leavvin gets up and says, "I'm tired of hearing about Gaza. Well, we'll tell you when we're done with Gaza. We're sick of hear we we the Jews." Uh, you know, this is what goes on. Week after that, you get the World Jewish Congress. Go ahead and Google that. That's a real thing. It's run by the Rothschilds and Ronald Lauder. Not making that up. That's real. And they get together and they talk about how Jews around the world are going to help Jewish people. And then they do the conference of major Jewish organizations. They do the North American Jewish Federation. They do the Tigva Jewish Leadership Summit. Okay. So they they these are five different meetings that all happened in the past few weeks and they all get together and they basically say the same thing which is we need to shut it down. They say people are noticing that we have all the power and they notice that we're using the power to help Israel and Americans are sick of it. So they're saying we need to shut that conversation down. We need to cancel Tucker. We need to blacklist Nick. We need to censor the internet. We need anti-semitism laws. We need gatekeeping. Like this is explicitly the message. And anyway, I did a whole show about this last week. If you watch the videos, that's exactly what they're saying. And we finally actually got the live footage from one of them at the Tikva Leadership Summit last week. I covered it on the show, but we we only had the transcript or we had a a summary of events from a reporter, but we didn't actually have the video. We finally got the video from a panel with Ben Shapiro and Barry Weiss. And oh my gosh, it's just like beyond parody. And so, for those that don't know, recently Larry Ellison became the second richest man in the world. Who is Larry Ellison? Good question. So, he is now worth north of $300 billion dollars. He's the founder of Oracle. It's a software company. They handle data hosting and uh I don't even really know what that means. I'm not a tech guy, so if you don't know, that's fine. But it's a back-end service. So, they're a they're a provider. They provide data hosting services for all the major websites. It's called Oracle. and they get contracts from the government and they have partnerships with all the major tech companies. It's one of the most valuable tech companies in the world and Larry Ellison is its founder and its owner and the head of the company and that's where he deres his fortune. Larry Ellison is Jewish. Larry Ellison is an atheist but he feels very strongly about being Jewish. Well, u I don't know whether he's going to say anything about this part, but Larry Ellison also served in the IDF. That's ironovian. He's going to talk about um the part where he obviously joined um you know engineer the buying of Tik Tok and the creation of a department in Tik Tok right now that sees to you know anti-semitism. So whether he's he's going to say something about that, I don't know. But let's just keep listening to it because Larry Ellison went viral for his views, for being part of, you know, the IDF and many other things. And I agree with Enik on this account because that's it. So strongly that he is a huge supporter of Israel. How much does he support Israel? Well, he's the number one private benefactor of the Israeli Defense Forces. He has made private donations to the Israeli military to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. How much does he support Israel? He's personal friends with Benjamin Netanyahu. And when Benjamin Netanyahu was indicted by his own government, Larry Ellison helped get Netanyahu a lawyer to defend himself. How did Ellison get Netanyahu a lawyer? Well, Larry Ellison went down to Hollywood and he went to the famous Jewish pro-Israel movie producer Arnon Milchan and asked him to drop his Israelite Jewish lawyer, his Israeli Jewish lawyer, so that Netanyahu could hire him. Okay. So, the second richest man in the world, an American billionaire running one of the most important tech companies, went to one of the richest and most famous and powerful Jewish movie producers and said, "Hey, Arnon, can you can you dismiss your lawyer? Netanyahu is in trouble." So, he gets Milchan to drop his lawyer so that Netanyahu could hire him to defend him from corruption charges. Netanyahu has vacationed on Larry Ellison's private island that he owns in Hawaii with his family. This is Larry Ellison. Now, after October 7th, the US Congress banned Tik Tok because there was too much criticism of Israel on Tik Tok. How do we know this? Listen is really a very powerful person and who knows who propped him and now he manages. I mean data for websites, how are we sure he doesn't have, you know, he's not compromised? If he's so pro-Israel, how are we sure that data that go through his companies has oversight enough to ensure that it doesn't pass to people? Because come to think of it, recently uh phones, gadgets, scooters, laptops are blowing up in Gaza. So how does that it means the idea for Israel has infiltrated almost every facet of people's lives. So those gers that are making their way into Gaza are compromised. So how do we explain that? People like Larry Ellison has answers to it. I keep watching because the ADL told us that the more people the more time that people spend on Tik Tok the more anti-semitic they become. So, the North American Jewish Federation started lobbying Congress to ban Tik Tok and major pro-Israel Republicans like Nikki Haley led the charge on this. She said, "We have to ban Tik Tok because it's anti-Semitic." So, they did. Another Jewish donor, Jeffrey Yas, donated millions of dollars to Trump because he wanted Trump to buy Tik Tok on behalf of the United States. As you know, recently Trump completed that deal as part of a wider trade deal with China. And the United States purchased Tik Tok from its Chinese parent company, Bite Dance. And the US consortium that bought it was Larry Ellison's company, Oracle. Larry Ellison will direct the board that is running Tik Tok. And his Oracle will host America's Tik Tok data. So, go figure. The Jewish lobby bans Tik Tok. The Jewish lobby gets Trump to buy Tik Tok. The Jewish lobby now owns Tik Tok. And what do you think they're going to do with it? They're going to ban anti-semitism. What else does Larry Ellison do? Well, his son David Ellison has a production company called Sky Dance. Larry Ellison underwrites the acquisition of Paramount by Skyance. So his son now owns Paramount, the Hollywood media conglomerate, which includes CBS, one of the major broadcasting networks. As part of the deal, they're going to get Barry Weiss to run CBS. CBS will buy her website, The Free Press, for $150 million, and she will now be the editor-inchief of CBS. Barry Weiss, of course, is an Israeli spy. She went to Columbia University where she tried to get pro Palestine professors fired as part of the David Project, a Jewish group. Then when she finished college, she studied under Yora Mason in Israel at the Shalam Center. Then she came back to the United States and was mentored by Brett Stevens, the Jewish columnist at the New York Times where she was an editorialist over there. Then she got money to do the Free Press. Now she's at CBS. And the new editorial line there is we are not going to tolerate the progressive left that's anti-Israel and the radical right that's anti-Israel. Okay, this is what is going on. This is this is who Barry Weiss is. This is what she's a part of now. Barry Weiss goes to the Tikvah fund and Tikva is funded by a number of Jewish billionaires. They come up with grants for young Jewish students and Jewish lawyers. The Tigva Fund has given money to the Benet Brit to the ADL. They they've given money to a lot of these types. JD Vance's Jewish chief of staff was a Tikva Fund fellow as are many of them in Conservative Inc. So she's there with Ben Shapiro at the panel talking about the crisis of anti-semitism and she says what we need are gatekeepers. We need censorship. She says, "How do we get people to stop listening to Hassan [ __ ] Andrew Tate, Tucker, and Nick Fuentes?" She says, "Well, we're never going to go back to Walter Kankite where 30 million people are watching the same TV show, and it's it's centralized. It's gatekept. It's moderate." She said, "We have to find centrist conservatives and centrist liberals." She says, "And we need to curate who is allowed to participate in the discourse. That means gatekeeping. That means the Jews are going to decide who gets to talk, who gets to participate in the debate and what the topics will be." She says, "We're not going back to Walter Kronhite, but we can curate the discourse. We can choose who is going to debate." She says, "So we should find charismatic centrist liberals and centrist conservatives and have them debate." She says to Ben Shapiro, she goes, "Yeah, I was just in Chicago last week and we had this debate between Alan Dersuitz and Dana Lash about gun control." She goes, "Two really charismatic centrists from the left and right, Alan Dersowitz and Dana Lash." For those that don't know, Alan Dersowitz was Jeffrey Epstein's Jewish lawyer who is 86 years old. And Dana Lash, I think she's in her 50s. She was the former head of the NRA. You might have seen her recently because she is the one that interrogated Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, after he interviewed or after he defended Tucker Carlson for interviewing me. Dana Lash led the Inquisition on her show that gets no views. That's the That's going to be the discourse. Jeffrey Epstein's Jewish lawyer and Israel's number one defender, the head of the NRA, Dana Lash, debating about gun control. That that's going to be the discussion. That's going to be the new discourse. Got it? Let's not talk about Gaza. Let's not talk about Epstein. Let's not talk about the Pard affair and how Mike Huckabe sat with him. Let's not talk about the pedophile from the Israeli government that fled our own attorney general from Vegas. Let's not talk about the war in Iran. Let's not talk about Mike Waltz being controlled by Netanyahu. Let's not talk about Marjorie Green being forced out of Congress by death threats for exposing the Epstein. Like, yeah, let's not talk about any of that. Let's not talk about the 20-year or anything concerning all of that, which is fanatical, radical. According to Tucker Carlson, my new best friend, that's anti-semitism. According to Tucker Carlson, that's Jew hatred. Everything that I just said up until this point, Tucker characterizes that as Jew hatred. He says, "Nick is a 100% right that Israel influences Congress." He said, "But I don't agree with the Jew hate." Well, you know, Tucker, my friend, it's a little bit bigger than Israel influencing Congress. There's a little more to the story and it doesn't make me a Jew hater for saying I'm surprised at what he said. Ter obviously say I disagree with him right now because Tucker released a video recently that obviously destroyed whatever anybody thought he was thinking about you know the Israeli influence in America. He obviously said that Netanyahu with his behavior and actions is a threat to Western civilization. Whatever he means by that, I don't know. But I believe Nick uh needs to go watch that video because I mean he's rising up and many conservatives are also joining him to also say that time is up for Netanyahu in America. Amen. Anyway, they want us to talk about everything other than that. Gun control, healthc care, even immigration. They'll even allow you to talk about immigration. They'll even let you talk about cultural differences between Somali and Americans. Did you see that? Matt Walsh went on a little tear today. It was so cute. Daring today, aren't we? Go get them. Matt Walsh did a little segment on his show where he said, "You import the third world, you become the third world." Daring today, aren't we? We're 50 years. We're 50 years into the brownification of America and finally someone has the balls to say we shouldn't import the third world. Bravo. And Elon Musk retweeted it and said, "Wow, right on." So Elon just finished telling us that if we don't want infinite Indian immigrants, you know, we're racist and we need to [ __ ] ourselves in the face. But Matt Walsh said Somali have bad culture. Amazing, amazing, awesome. And this is where we are. It could not be more clear. And by the way, let me tell you something else. Okay, it is so obvious what's going on here. So obvious. Mark Levin, Barry Weiss, Ben Shapiro, Randy Fine, Joel Barry, all these people, they are the biggest liars in America. That's all they do. They lie like they breathe and they come on the air and they pretend to care about our religion and they pretend to care about our country and about our children and about our young men and our people. But we all know the only reason they are scrambling, panicking, one reason and one reason only. It's because people are waking up about our Jewish oligarchy. That's it. And we all know why all of them are Jewish. All of them have a special affinity for Israel. And by all of them, I mean all these people that have spoken out in the past few weeks. When these Jewish people get together at the North American Jewish Federation, at the Republican Jewish Coalition, at the World Jewish Congress, at the Conference for Major American Jewish organizations, and they get up on stage and right, left and center, they get up and they decry the anti-semites on the left and on the right. Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, Assan [ __ ] and Zoran Mdani. The only reason they're saying these things is because they are here as a foreign entity to lobby and manipulate the American public to support their country and their well-being at our expense. That's it. These people are Jewish. That's why they care about Israel. And they are here to make sure that all of us Americans never stop supporting Israel. I'm here to tell Americans we don't have to listen to them. As a matter of fact, you shouldn't listen to them. Americans should tune out people that care about other countries. You care about Israel, we put the volume to zero. We're not listening. I don't care what your take is on gun control. I don't care what your take is on healthcare. You are a Jew that only cares about Israel. There's no we here. You they are not part of this conversation. This is a conversation between Americans about what America will do. America is a country of, by and for the American people, a republic comprised of American citizens. Americans are going to speak to other Americans about what is best for Americans. Americans are going to make their decision about who we are going to vote for for the leader of America and what America will do with regard to Israel. We're not going to listen to pro-Israel Jews that are here to tell us that we don't have a decision, that there's one decision, and that is to support Israel. How much are we going to support Israel? Are we going to give them all our money or most of our money? Are we going to fight all their wars or some of their wars? Are we going to fight in an offensive or defensive capacity? If you are here as a foreign propagandist, as a foreign lobbyist, as a foreign spy, if you have another allegiance, you are not in this conversation. We're telling Barry Weiss and Ben Shapiro, but out. You are not invited. You are not one of us. You are one of them. Ben Shapiro, you have an Israeli wife and Israeli kids. You live in an all Jewish neighborhood. You've been to Israel more times than I can count on two hands. You are not American. You are not one of us. Barry Weiss, you finished college and got trained in Israel to advocate for Israel. You're a foreign spy. You should be deported. You and you speak to an audience of Jews about what is best for Jews. What Nick Fant is is saying is quite simple. Go back to respect in America and it values. If you are in America and you claim to be an American citizen and you are not committed to helping America, you know, get greater height like what the forefathers did, you have no business being in America or have no business staying in America and telling us to be loyal to other countries. And most importantly from what he said, people are beginning to see things differently. The truth is coming out. People are beginning to know who is in control of the politicians in America who is preventing America to get into the height of freedom where people would everate. Remember Netanyahu once said that the new Rome will be conquered. Nobody will be allowed to conquer Israel again. I don't know what he means by that, but I believe that he believes that it America is the new road. And with people realizing that things are going overboard, that he's overstepping its boundaries, I think America would turn against those who prioritize a foreign country over the interest of America and at the end of the day win and take back their country. My advice for Israel is is that they should focus on making peace in the Middle East. Ensuring that lands or greater Israel projects or idea or killing more people to occupy their lands shouldn't be what should be the foreign policy of their country. They should go in take the peace that they have manage it and make the place a habitable place and live peacefully with the neighbor. Anything outside of this can be regarded as playing the Russian ruler. All right, thank you so much for being part of the show today. Really appreciate your time. I know definitely we're going to see in another video, but this my first on Nick Fuentes and I really enjoying it. Thank you. Please like, share, and subscribe if you haven't yet. Until I see you in the next one.
‘LIKE GIVING A DROWNING PERSON A BREATH OF AIR’. An eyewitness account of the ongoing devastation in Gaza by Seymour Hersh Jan 14, 2026
[x] Displaced Palestinians struggle carrying on with daily life amid the rubble left by Israeli attacks in Jabalia, Gaza on January 12. Lacking basic necessities, families are clinging to survival in makeshift tents set up near their destroyed homes, while enduring harsh cold weather conditions. / Photo by Khames Alrefi/Anadolu via Getty Images.
The world remains on fire in many places, but it is easy to forget that things are still burning in Gaza, and the worst is not over for the Palestinians.
The Israelis are in the process of deciding whether once again to bomb what they fear is a rebuilt Hezbollah command in Lebanon. I’ve been told by an informed official that the Iranian Army, more than a million strong, may hold the fate of Iran. President Donald Trump, after attacking Venezuela and apprehending President Nicolás Maduro, now claims control of more oil in reserve than Saudi Arabia and Russia put together, and of course far more than China. Russian President Vladimir Putin has gone missing from the peace talks with Ukraine.
The Israel military, under the command of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is continuing to drop bombs on Gaza as yet another ceasefire is broken. Now squeezed into one half of Gaza, the Palestinians are staying put and doing all they can to stay alive. Some are even preparing to plant their crops for the coming season.
It is a miracle of endurance despite the fact that, as the New York Times reported this week, the Israeli Air Force and Army have destroyed more than 2,500 buildings in Gaza since the ceasefire agreement with Israel was signed last October. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinian survivors are now living in tents that are flooded in heavy rain. It is a zone that is very cold.
As has been widely reported, there is now more food coming into Gaza, but much of it does not reach those in need but instead those most able to pay.
I recently had a long talk with a veteran observer of Gaza, who has been visiting the territory for years, long before and many times after the murderous Hamas attacks on Israel of October 7, 2023.
The official tolls for Gazans after the reprisals for those attacks began now stand at more than 71,000 deaths and more 171,000 injuries. There is no reliable estimate of the number of young children whose physical development and mental well-being have been stunted by the lack of food, safe housing, and sanitation during the ongoing Israeli war and occupation.
The veteran observer described to me the state of Gaza today:
“There were phases when there was a lot of food coming in, but now is not one of those phases. It’s not hard to find food, but it is very expensive, and some parts of Gaza will have more food than others. It’s winter, and it’s freezing, and people are recovering from a famine which is still there even though it’s no longer officially declared.” Famine was officially declared in Gaza in August, but the designation was withdrawn after the October ceasefire.
She continued: “So great. You get a few trucks of flour. A doctor told me that when you’re suffering from severe malnutrition, giving one a meal or two days of meals is like giving a drowning person a breath of air. But the machine has already started rotting where the body is eating itself, and that takes a lot longer to stop.
“In terms of denial, we are in a different place as well. We are now in a Universal Declaration of Human Rights era where things are framed using the liberal language of Human Rights. . . . The other thing that is different now is we are seeing in real time . . . bodies burning, people hungry, homes bombed . . . seeing it without knowing or understanding what to do.
“‘I can see it’s a baby, but it happens to be a Palestinian baby. But Palestinians are terrorists, and terrorists are not babies.’ So people are like—how do you say?—malfunctioning. Their racism makes them numb.
“State denial also has changed” after October 7. Of course, she said: “Israel plays the usual role. They disrupt evidence. They misrepresent. They bomb. And then they say: ‘We didn’t do it.’
“And because the world’s tolerance for genocide increased after October 7, they give Israel this space: ‘Okay, you can kill, but kill within these lines.’ Israel declares it’s raiding a hospital, but that’s not really a hospital. It’s a terror cell. ‘Yes, we’re bombing a tent, but that’s not a tent. It was a place where operatives were living. There are six journalists [from Al Jazeera] we’re going after. They’re not really journalists. They’re spokespersons for Hamas.’
“Of course, it is a result of Israeli impunity, It is also a result of the Western tolerance and appetite for it. Israel is doing what the West has done for hundreds of years and isn’t doing now but Israel could not do this by itself. It needs the Emirates to feed it. It needs the British to surveil. It needs the American to veto and arm. It needs the Canadians to help train.
“Israel has broken every ceasefire it has ever had. I think Hamas always knew they were going to break the ceasefire. I have colleagues monitoring every day the so-called ‘yellow line,’ separating the areas inside Gaza declared today to be in control of the Israeli Defense Forces from areas in Palestinian hands.
“The yellow line is serving today as an evacuation order,” the Gaza veteran told me. “The Israeli military sometimes puts yellow concrete blocks in the middle of the street, which means to everybody: ‘You need to leave.’ The purpose of the yellow line is to smash the Palestinian social fabric. It’s to smash life. That’s what it is. It’s not about security.”
The observer said that many “hungry, cold, and miserable” Gazans would flee if the Gaza crossing to Egypt is opened, as promised by the ceasefire agreement. It has not been opened because “Egypt does not want the bedraggled Palestinians.”
Far more important, she said, is the fact that many Palestinians “are not going to leave. I have footage friends sent me about how they’re rebuilding their homes with mud and clay by the sea. When a child is born, they’re born with generational knowledge. And very early on it’s a connection to the land. Even if the young person isn’t working on the land, it’s that this is ours and this is what makes you.”
Her predictions were dark: “I don’t see an endgame that bodes well for Palestinians in the West Bank. I think Israel is the one that is not going to survive this genocide. Israel’s enemy is not Hamas, and it’s not Iran. The enemy is Palestinian life, and as long as there are Palestinians on that land, that is a problem. They don’t have a solution for that. They haven’t had a Holocaust yet. What they will do in the West Bank will be much worse than in Gaza.”
She went on to give me her personal view regarding Gaza today: “Israel is already losing because it hasn’t managed in two years of dropping the equivalent of many nuclear bombs in Gaza to achieve anything militarily, really. It has killed, and it has slaughtered, and it has bombed, but it hasn’t gotten people [Israelis] back in Gaza yet. It hasn’t gained international support. It’s alienated [many its of its supporters].
“These are the behaviors of someone who is losing—this kind of unhinged colonialism. At the end, it’s the most brutal and the most bloody . . . this is how they go out. But the community fabrics in Gaza are different. When people see a hungry orphan on the street, they take care of him as if he were their child. They have learned to be like refugees, so it is different.
“This is not optimism. This is a reading that doesn’t put Israel as all-knowing, almighty, all-professional, all-capable. I think from what we are seeing on the ground, they are scared and very good at video games from a distance, but they can’t do hand-to-hand battle and are coming back traumatized after a few months. Their relationships to the land are different, and their stakes are different. But right now it is agitation and effective agitation. Strategic agitation is when an Israeli soldier is no longer able to go to a festival in the Netherlands.”
NY Times exposes Israel's r*pe dungeons, Netanyahu threatens to sue The Grayzone May 14, 2026 #TheGrayzone
The Grayzone's Max Blumenthal joins former US representative and One America News host Matt Gaetz to discuss the New York Times article reporting what was already well known to close observers of Israel-Palestine:
Israel has adopted sexual abuse on a systematic level to torture Palestinians kidnapped from Gaza since Oct 7, and much of its society has mobilized in defense of the torturers.
Max explains why Netanyahu's extreme legal threats against the NY Times will never lead to concrete action, and how they could blow back on Israel if they went to trial.
Transcript
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is issuing fresh threats against the New York Times, indicating that he's going to sue the paper on behalf of the government of Israel as a consequence of reports of terrible sexual torture and rape of Palestinians who are in the custody of Israelis. We want to get right to these allegations, what they mean, and what exposure of these acts might do to the very fragile situation in the Middle East. Joining us now is editor of the Greyzone, Max Blumenthal. Max, bring us inside this threat from Prime Minister Netanyahu to sue the New York Times. Very characteristic of Benjamin Netanyahu, but also extremely dangerous for Israel. Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he's directed his legal adviserss to consider harsh legal action against the New York Times Nick Kristoff, an opinion writer from the opinion section who has published a meticulously documented report on something that all of us who have paid attention and who have reported from the occupied territories and visited Israel's prisons in the occupied territories and attended as I have its children's courts for example. people know that Israel does in these facilities, which is it practices torture. And since October 7th, as Israel has kidnapped thousands of civilians, mostly males from the Gaza Strip, essentially holding them as hostages in new uh dungeon-like facilities like Stan in the Negv desert, practicing sexual abuse through a force which has been given uh total free hand over Palestinian prisoners. They believe they're they were all Hamas militants who were carrying out horrific attacks on October 7th. Some of them turned out to be doctors like Dr. Adnan Bur who was reportedly raped to death by Israeli oldiers at one of these facilities. And you know the one of the reasons we know this really was happening was not just reports like the New York Times report from 2024 by Patrick King Kingsley on the State Tan facility which reported that the Israeli soldiers were using batons and electric shocks uh in the rectums of Palestinian detainees, a form of rape and killing several of them. We know it because it was videotaped and anyone watching this right now can see the video of Israeli soldiers at Stman uh uh anally raping a Palestinian detainee with a baton. Those soldiers are well known to the Israeli public. One of them has become sort of a national folk hero. His name is Mayor Chhatrit. And they were going to be put on trial. And then there were riots by Israeli army reservists invading Israeli army bases and the court where they were to be put on trial. All of these men were exonerated and sent back to their positions because of the massive public report support they've received. So Nicholas Kristoff reports all of what we already know with 14 firthand survivors of sexual assault in these prisons and now Benjamin Netanyahu is threatening to sue in order to push back on this PR catastrophe. The problem for Netanyahu is he's someone who would be liable proof because he his reputation is so low uh given his IC warrant, given that multiple human rights groups and governments have accused him of genocide in the Gaza Strip. Given his boasting to, for example, the US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabe, of having an assassination list, he is essentially liel proof in US courts Israel would lose its own sovereign immunity. And it would be amazing to see the New York Times get discovery if this went to trial and bring out all of the sexual torture that Israel's been practicing in its prisons. Yeah, Max, I I really was surprised when I saw this because of, you know, of course, Israel says these things didn't happen. They've called it blood liable, the worst thing said about the country. Uh, and if they had uh evidence that this stuff was happening, wouldn't they want to move past this? Why would they make a threat to sue over something that could draw more attention to allegations of of of such terrible misconduct? Yeah. Well, I think it's it's another characteristic and un very unstrategic overreaction. Another another avenue they could take would be to say, "We are going to investigate this. Allow us to investigate ourselves. We do not practice torture. We consider it an abhorrent practice and we want to abide by international law just for purely PR purposes." But I think that the Israelis and their uh cutouts in the United States and their supporters are so stuck in their own echo chamber that either they don't believe this is true or they don't want to uh sell out their own Netanyahu's own base in Israel which actually supports these kinds of practices. is I I mentioned that Mayor Chhatri, who was accused by Israel's top JAG lawyer, the military prosecutor of raping a Palestinian detainee, uh has become a national folk hero. He was brought on the Pro Netanyahu network, Channel 14 as a guest. He's uh the other soldiers have boasted on camera of using dogs as an instrument of sexual torture. Uh this would be uh for Netanyahu to say we condemn this would be condemning a part of his own base and a part of the military that feels vulnerable to these charges and this really highlights the danger of Israel in international law which is that it aims to destroy it. I would I wonder if the people in Israel can have their own conscience shocked by this. I mean, if if what we want is peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians, which is certainly what I want, it's very difficult to change hearts and minds through an electrified anus. And so, what what is the uh sensibility within Israel for these types of reports and and these types of behaviors? Well, you know, after 1948, the Israelis put uh over 1 million Palestinian refugees who had been kicked off their land into a narrow strip of land called the Gaza Strip. And by 2005, they had put placed the Gaza Strip under siege, out of sight, out of mind, and pretended that those people were not occupied. And that nothing bad would come of this. October 7th, 2023 arrives. uh a major guerilla assault mostly on Israeli military bases but also many civilians were killed and over 200 were taken hostage because this was the only diplomatic leverage that Hamas had. The majority of Jewish Israelis over 90% wanted revenge for this and the revenge has taken the form of sexual torture, genocide. A Time magazine poll showed in 2024 that the amount of Israelis who believed that Israel was using too much firepower as it was on its way to killing 20,000 children in the Gaza Strip, that that number was in the single digits. I think it was about 5%. So there really is no restraint there. Wow. Yeah. It it doesn't look like uh the populace is going to be a limiting factor on on some of these uh these heinous acts if they are indeed occurring and we may get litigation and discovery to be able to get to the truth of that matter. Max Blumenthal, editor at uh the Greyzone, thanks so much for joining us at always as always. Thanks a lot, Matt.
