US 'precision' missiles fired at Iran killed civilians 50 meters from impact zone: Report Tuesday, 01 September 2026 7:04 PM [ Last Update: Tuesday, 01 September 2026 7:04 PM ] https://www.presstv.co.uk/Detail/2026/0 ... s-Iran-war
An athletic center and a playground in Lamerd, southern Iran, were hit by a US Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) in February 2026. (File)
Lockheed Martin’s Precision Strike Missile, which was used by the United States for the first time during its aggression against Iran, sprays pellets over a wide area, claiming the lives of civilians as far as 50 meters from the impact site, a report says.
A review by the conflict monitor Airwars and interviews with weapons experts and former defense officials highlighted the potential danger of deploying Lockheed Martin’s Precision Strike Missile near population centers.
Three missiles struck Iran’s southern city of Lamerd on February 28, killing civilians as far as 50 meters from where they detonated, and causing damage more than three times farther away, Airwars found.
The London-based nonprofit said the missiles detonated above a sports complex and two residential neighborhoods.
The attack killed at least 21 civilians, including children, according to Iranian authorities.
Airwars is the first to map the damage radius of the attacks in Lamerd and estimate the lethal range of the weapon used.
The PrSM is designed to detonate midair, dispersing tens of thousands of dense metal pellets at high speed in every direction.

The US military confirmed using PrSMs against Iran. However, it denied attacking Lamerd.
Photos, videos and satellite images of the aftermath of the Lamerd attacks analyzed by Airwars and verified by The Associated Press show buildings, streets and vehicles were heavily pockmarked in a blast pattern that experts say is consistent with the PrSM’s capabilities.
The United States and Israel launched the latest round of aggression against Iran on February 28, some eight months after the unprovoked attacks of June.
Iran decisively retaliated by launching barrages of missiles and drones at the Israeli-occupied territories, as well as US bases and interests across the region.
A ceasefire took effect on April 7, and on June 18, the presidents of Iran and the United States signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to end the war and begin a 60-day diplomatic process to resolve the differences.
However, Washington violated the agreement. Renewed US strikes once again triggered Iranian retaliation.

Welcome back to the show everyone. This is a breaking news update. So overnight there were no attacks by the United States on Iran despite the fact that Donald Trump promised that he would hit Iran hard for Iranian retaliation that occurred the night before on US bases in Jordan. And a big reason for this is likely because the US military right now is in disarray with it what
seems to be a brewing internal mutiny that has been fueled especially by Pete Hegth's purges of top military brass. Now we have army secretary the final civilian seat inside of the US military resigning Mr. Dan Driscoll amid these tensions with Pete Hegth. He briefed Donald Trump on the sad state of the US military before he left and Donald Trump has yet to approve of this resignation. Now, according to the Hills reporter,
Philip uh Timoteia uh Timoteia, David Fitzgerald, the deputy under secretary of the US military of the US Army is also likely to resign from his role this week, according to a source familiar with the matter. Now, Israel is panicking about this. Here is one Israeli uh so-called reporter, Guy Ster, who said, "The US army is in disarray as the war with Iran is now stalled. No strikes on Iran tonight despite Trump's
threat to hit them hard." This comes as Benjamin Netanyahu has been doing very poorly on the campaign trail, but yet he has been bragging about his capacity to influence US politicians in particular. Now, so many top military leaders have departed under Pete Heget that even Donald Trump himself is is a bit shocked by this. And here are just some of them. Not only Army Secretary Dan Driscoll but also some people very
close to him. Army General Christopher Donahghue back in June. This was a big one. The Navy Secretary Secretary John Felen back in April. So there obviously is major shakeups in the US military. But this is also happening inside the US military as major advisers have been warning Pete Hegsth of the unsustainability of the Iran war. Now, none of these resignations have been directly linked to the Iran war, but it is highly
likely there is a major connection, especially due to the fact that Pete Haggath is a champion of the US war in Iran. while there are major forces inside who are saying that they are warning him privately that his war in Iran is unsustainable and draining the US's ability to defend itself and from threats elsewhere. So that is the narrative being pushed by the US military inside of it warning Pete Hegth himself.
Now, Donald Trump is still considering, despite all of this chaos, he's still considering limited strikes on Iran to supposedly curb attacks on the Straight of Hormuz. But there's a big problem with this in that Iran's retaliation appears to have spooked the US military brass. Not just in this internal chaos, but especially in this one incident that Sentcom has become concerned with that Iran has been able to rebuild its radar, air defense,
and anti-hship missile capabilities in the straight to target ships more accurately. You may remember that it wasn't just a few days ago that the Trump administration and sentcom were promoting the narrative that the uh Iranian military has essentially lost all of its capabilities to detect in radar incoming and outgoing ships from the straight of Hormuz. And that's what made this so-called blockade and the escorting so effective. But here is the incident
that Axios Barack Ravid unit 8200 of Mossad's favorite reporter said. One incident that's raised concern in recent days was the launch of an Iranian anti-aircraft missile toward a US F-35 jet that was providing cover to ships in the strait. A US official said while the missile didn't come close is what they're saying to be a threat. It was a signal that Iran is trying to reconstitute its military capacity according to US
officials. Now there are other reports I've seen and they are also unverified that in fact this F-35 had to actually take evasive maneuvers and retreat toward Saudi Arabia. And a big uh and really important point about this particular incident is that with Iran showing its air defense 5 minutescapabilities and its anti-aircraft capabilities can reach beyond far beyond Iran's uh uh airspace and into Oman territory in the so-called Omani Omani territory in
the so-called Omani corridor. It shows that actually US aircraft are not safe even from that distance as they probably assumed and this is why they were likely providing this aerial so-called escort service to uh the commercial vessels in the straight of Hormuz. The news gets even worse though when it comes to the situation in the straight of Hormuz and Iran's control over it for the US military. According to Bloomberg, two super
tankers associated with Saudi oil carrying Saudi oil, 2 million barrels according to some reports were struck last night while transiting the straight of Hormuz under that vaunted US escort. The Saudi owned SIDR and the Korea South Korean Synoreowned Senagal Prosperity were the ones hit. Now uh according to some reports this uh these tankers especially this one tanker that was hit that was Saudi related cost 120 million US alone and it was
hit on the outbound traffic side which means that Iran controls not just what comes in but also what comes out of the straight. And new reports show that Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Daryl Claudell says that US Navy personnel and families evacuated from Bahrain, the fifth fleet naval base should not expect to return anytime soon due to Iranian strikes. So that's the major breaking news and in particular this F-35 incident. We've
reported many times, even just in the last few weeks, of several F-35 fighter jets having to squawk an emergency code uh in and then uh take maneuvers toward and land in the area, especially around UAE. uh it was unclear in a lot of these declarations and the squawking of these emergency codes why the F-35s were doing this, but now it seems like that Iran has actually been targeting them. And this means,
and this is very important, that the F-35 stealth capabilities are actually very much overblown. And that's that's very bad news for the US Air Force, for the US Navy, and in particular for Sentcom, which is still very much committed to, as they say, trying reopen the straight uh against Iran's so-called uh you know, endangerment of commercial vessels. Now, we have to get back to this story on uh Driscoll's resignation because it's
a it's a big deal. And now Doug and now Dan Driscoll himself is uh no peace. He is a byproduct actually. He's very close to JD Vance. He's a byproduct of the Teal machinery. Actually before he was appointed this position he was close to Peter Teal and working in his various uh corporate ventures in venture capital and he is a staunch hawk when it comes to the US military as a whole.
He is not a peace snick, but there are major problems inside of the US military that he has been um that he has been sounding the alarm about uh and that's what led to this uh uh resignation. So here is what MS now formerly MSNBC said. Driscoll submitted his resignation after speaking with President Trump about the current state of the US Army. The secretary spoke to the president about the current state
of the US Army and submitted his resignation and it comes as US war with Iran which military leaders have reportedly cautioned is unsustainable reaches its sixth month. Well, now we're in the seventh month actually. Um Driscoll was among the people who brought concerns with the administration surrounding army transformation and readiness and heets blocking of these efforts specifically by firing generals who were responsible. There are fewer generals now in control of the
US military than there have been in its history. This was according to some reports, which means that it's very actually it's probably very difficult actually to command and uh uh direct an entire military especially against a country as steadfast as Iran um in order to uh complete this uh uh you know complete this so-called war. Now uh Doug Driscoll is an Iran Iraq war veteran. So he is a champion of the
war on terror. He is somebody who fought directly in it. So he is not somebody who is a stranger to nor is opposed to wars. But it appears this one might have been one too far. Other modernization efforts that Hexath appeared to block include learning from Ukrainian warfare and advancing drone capabilities. So, uh, in April, Hexath also fired Randy George, Driscoll's ally from his post and the army chief of staff. Then
in August, George, uh, General Christo Leniv, who was appointed a Hex as George's replacement, subsequently close a specialized drone unit that Driscoll had steered, forcing the unit to return to addition traditional infantry battalion. A lot of this actually feels like it's it's about how to spend the resources. Now, mind you, the US military has been uh gaining massive amounts of resources in recent years, in particular over the last year with a
1.5, I believe it is, uh trillion dollar promise to it. But there are major disagreements on how to spend that. And 11 minutesPete Hegth has been blowing it all actually on the Iran war. While people like Driscoll want to see, and this is going to be a major point of contention inside the US military for quite some time, especially throughout the rest of the Trump administration, is that people like Driscoll, who
is a, first of all, a revolving door entity. He's somebody who's in the corporate world. He's somebody who has been in the military and he's somebody who wants to make as much money as possible and he's somebody who wants to wage as many wars as possible. The Iran war is actually a drag on this because as you just saw, MSNBC or what it's called MS Now is reporting that he wanted a
drone program to be launched that would learn from the so-called fledging Ukrainian drone program wreaking havoc over Russian skies. Although that is a very much an exaggeration according to uh the reality of the situation. But nevertheless, this this is the situation that the United States military finds itself in. And then back to here where this new report says a hexa's own military brass warns that the war is unsustainable. Uh on Sunday
morning of this week, the Washington Post published a scoop describing classified assessment of the heads of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as top commanders from across three continents, contained a twice monthly report called the Secretary of Defense Orders Book. The pain point, according to the reporting, is that President Donald Trump wants to keep all his options open, including the ability to attack Iran again, extending a large deployment of
troops kept at the ready and limiting the ability to train and run missions elsewhere. that prompted concern formerly known as a non-concur. As President Donald Trump has pressured tan to reopen the street of Hormuz and accept several US provisions for ending a stalemated conflict, he has been adamant that all options remain available to him, including further military action. Consequently, US Central Command, the headquarters responsible for prosecuting the Iran war, has kept
the force of more than 50,000 troops on alert for months in case of additional attacks. and the chief of naval operations provide the jeep ble assessment as deployments of personnel and vessels have taken have been extended for months warning just a quarter of the navy's destroyer fleet is ready to deploy representing a big decline from pre-war levels now mind you Driscoll himself also had major disagreements about the production sorry about that
here is actually the report I was reading from has uh major disagreements about the uh pace and the targeting of military production. So, this is also going to be as the United States drains all that it has left on the Iran war. There's going to be major conflict inside of the breast that we're already seeing about what should be the focus. And Driscoll wanted to build more ships. He wanted to actually
strengthen the navy. He wanted to push military contractors to do this. And uh that's actually a Trump administration vision, a Donald Trump vision. uh the biggest fleet, you know, building the biggest fleet known in human history. Uh but uh Pete Hex has actually disagreed with this and instead has been blowing it all on the war on Iran. So this these are the disagreements that are emerging because of the disastrous situation, the
catastrophic situation of the US war on Iran. That's not ending, mind you. Uh, I wholly believe that the United States is getting ready for a surprise attack on Iran. I don't believe just because Trump tacoed out last night uh on the evening of August 31st into today that that somehow means the war is over and actually it was just a one-off strike. Uh there are many indications that Donald Trump has deeply
wore on brain and not least because of some incredibly AI has been sharing on his truth social, including and it's a very it's almost a very pathetic situation here where you have experts warning that Trump's AI fakery in Iran will destroy public trust breaking shared reality. 7 years ago, he altered a hurricane math with a sharp map with a Sharpie marker and made a federal agency endorse it. On Monday, the president
published AI created fake combat footage purporting to depict the war he's actually fighting and the Pentagon had to say it never happened. The impact on public trust could be devastating. And here I won't um but here is the photo. This is this is a video an AI video of Car Island supposedly being blown to smitherines. So that's that's what he posted and the footage is convincing. He says, "Now, this is how
you know that um the legacy media, the corporate media is incredibly behind when it comes to AI. If anybody thought that footage was convincing, um then they obviously haven't, as the kids say, touched grass lately. But nevertheless, the footage is, I guess, convincing to the lay person who doesn't know AI, who hasn't watched AI videos, shot us through the open door of a military helicopter. It shows oil storage tanks and refinery
infrastructure erupting in sequence. Smoke snack stacking into the night. the camera juttering away from real uh gun camera video shakes. The caption read Car Island being blown to smitherines and it was signed as the president assigns his official post, President DJT. There was a problem though. It was completely fake and AI generated fantasy put forward as part of the running show of slop that characterizes Trump's output on the social media he
owns. The fact remain that Trump had posted the image at a time when the US was actually conducting air strikes in Iran, at least uh when it comes to the day before. He has te strikes on Iran's petroleum export facility on multiple times despite warnings that it could touch off a spiraling escalation that would global oil markets and the world economy. Uh the imagery was so realistic the Pentagon was forced to
immediately explain the president's post was not depiction of reality as other post by Trump and cabinet secretaries of actual air strikes have been. So uh that that shows though that wars on the brain of Donald Trump even if this war will not go well for him will not go well for the administration. Nevertheless, uh this is the disastrous reality that Donald Trump and the Pentagon finds itself in because now they are
in a very tough spot, a very tough spot with all of these latest developments, especially when it comes to the fact that uh the US is running out of its missile inventory. It it really is. The footage from the missile attacks by Iran on Jordan were incredible where you had four, five, six, seven uh Patriots and other air defense interceptors going up in the air just for one missile. This is in
fact benefiting Iran. And now that it is quite clear that F-35s, no fighter jets can come anywhere close to Iranian airspace without facing consequences. Well, this heavily limits what the US military can do. It standoff munitions have been depleted and now uh this contemplation of limited strikes is obviously going to last a bit longer given that the options remain very few. And this is quite embarrassing for the Trump administration and for
the US as a whole because there are a number of problems that are mounting should the US continue down this road, not least the strategic petroleum reserves which cannot be filled up, okay, cannot be filled up with Venezuelan crude. All right. I've had many people on this show talk about that already. But even I, somebody who is not an expert on oil matters, uh, know that Venezuelan crude is like tar and
the strategic petroleum reserves are not and they cannot be replaced by Venezuelan crude. That is just uh not going to happen. But nevertheless, Iran's control over the straightfor is incredibly firm. It is one that is uh causing inc uh huge panic amongst the uh uh US uh ruling and wararm mongering classes. Uh yesterday Iran sends a big message to the United States. Not only did it get all of this positive PR
from Oxios itself, which shows that it has the capabilities of targeting and threatening the uh uh fighter jets, the vaunted stealth capabilities of the F-35, but it was the only force in this war to have taken offensive action yesterday by hitting these Saudi oil tankers, which again with Saudi oil being involved, that's another message that they're choosing and determining which um you know which tankers they want to target and how they
want to control the straight of Hormuz. Uh it's it's quite obvious that it is Iran that is in control here. So the US military is in disarray. The US military doesn't have the capa capacity to escalate its war beyond what we've already seen. And now we are seeing Iran's offensive posture taking shape. The response by Iran to US attacks on Lark Island a couple days ago was incredibly rapid. Uh the response
happened within a few hours and the uh missiles were firing from all directions in Iran from all parts of the country including Tehran itself and F-16, F35 hangers and other key targets were a hit and there were dozens of drones sent toward the UAE likely to exhaust their air defenses because as you all may know from our coverage of the war so far, the US has an air defense layer that they've
tried to embed in the Gulf countries so that as Iranian missiles fly over its own territory and into the Gulf that uh they all try to hit them down uh depending on where their targets are and Jordan being so far toward the Israeli side, the Palestinian side of the region. Uh there's plenty of layers that Iran has to go through missile-wise in order to penetrate US air defenses. But those US air
defenses are almost gone. Half of them are gone. Almost half. And the more that they use, well, the worse the situation gets. And uh the reason why 22 minutesthe situation also is so disastrous for the United States is because with Iran showing that it actually has the capability of challenging US air superiority that it always talks about and gloats about. Well, the US is actually losing a major component of its offensive
capabilities and this limits it. you know, it doesn't it's not going to be shooting surfacetoair missiles like highimars and this actually attackums. Uh they're actually all depleted in large part, especially in the region in Ukraine is begging for more. Uh so there's a big problem too with how the inventory actually does shape the rest of the US empire's endeavors everywhere else. And this is why you have big disagreements inside of the
military brass. It's not because they don't want to see war. All right? Don't don't think that. If you think that, then you're naive. No. These people are hired for wars. They're hired to engage in activities that are supposed to expand, build upon, and maintain US hegemony, meaning US domination on all fronts. That's militarily, of course, which is their responsibility. But that also means that you know politically and economically they are creating
the conditions by military means from which to do that. But Ukraine is in dire straits. Ukraine is in an air defense crisis. Ukraine is in a military hardware crisis. And yes having to rely on drones to try to terrorize the Russian population into submission which of course is not going to work. But that's why they're always begging for more air defense is because they can't intercept the Zircons and the Iscanders and
the and the various hypersonic missiles of Russia. So if the US is blowing everything they have it has on Iran, well there's none for Ukraine. And what and then what about China? Well, the United States, I think, is learning quite dramatically with the Iran war that it won't be able to fight the kind of war against China that it has tried with Iran. this experiment has been a complete and utter failure
and disaster because I said it on prior shows like for example with our good friend Patrick Henningson that the Gulf region the militarization of it right when you have all these Gulf monarchies and Israel of course with all of this US military hardware you know the refueling tankers the fighter jets the hanger bases the surfacetoair missiles the attacks the highars the Patriot systems and the thads for air defenses and all of
When you have all of this set up there, it's all to wage war against your adversary along their periphery, right? It's to export that and to outsource that to your so-called proxies. Well, they've had to pull all air defense systems and other off and and then offensive weaponry too like tomahawks from Southeast Asia from East Asia in the Pacific to this theater to the Sentcom theater away from the PACOM theater. So
the US is even less capable of fighting that war against China now. But that's also to say that that kind of war would be an even worse failure with China because China has just as advanced air defense, if not more advanced. It has a bigger and deeper military arsenal than even Iran does. And it's been building this up without having to fight a single war for 40 plus years. So China has
all the hardware it needs to do the same exact thing with the United States. And it has the economic leverage not just with uh economic relations with the US but also the world economy to make 26 minutesthe economic pain even worse for the US and the world and it has actually the quite a resilient economy if you don't remember COVID when everything was locked down and there was a a really what
was a uh imposed recession China was the only one that was really growing at that time. It was slower growth, but they still grew economically and they were able to weather that storm. So, there's no war that the US can wage that will mirror those conditions. You're not going to see China locking down because of a US war. Actually, what they're going to do is they're going to rev up military production
and of course the recruiting of their military which is is quite large already um to defend themselves and that you know that is uh not going to bode well. You know, the Chinese military is a very actually small fraction of the Chinese population, but I think it's around 2 million, but it can get bigger really fast. And I've been to China and I know that there are people itching, first of all,
there are people itching to fight Japan because Japan is out front as the uh offensive uh Chihuahua, right? the the the bark the dog uh that had you know on the leash of the United States Empire and and and Chinese many people know this. So a lot of go and fight Japan should a war actually break out. But uh you know I know for a fact there are many young Chinese people.
There are many Chinese people in general that would itch at the opportunity to join the military and fight a war with the United States if there was a war of aggression upon it. So again, there aren't very good options 28 minuteshere for the United States anymore. And the Iran war has made that even worse. Has has absolutely um destroyed any capabilities of the United States to fight these wars abroad. And then
what does that mean? Well, it means that the United States is going to have to consider nuclear war. And I and I hate to say this, but if the US is an empire that is dedicated to enforcing its hijgemony, if its interests are imposing the monopoly and financialization, the the finance capital system, the system of uh you know where where US monopolies and financeers just extract everything from the world and want
to get as rich as possible. And if they can't do that, and if the US military cannot create the conditions for this, then what does the US military do? Does it say, "We give up. We're done. We're it's over." No, that's not what the US military does. The US military will do what it's doing now. First, panic, become in total disarray, get rid of its civilian components. Really, Trump is the perfect
foil for what is always an ever consolidating attempt to concentrate US power inside of the military because it's all that it it has left. And I'm going to show you why just in a few minutes. But this is exactly what's going to happen is that they're they're going to consider nuclear weapons. Now, Trump has actually shot this down supposedly, right? There were reports in the Telegraph that the United States and Trump
himself was considering tactical nuclear weapons on Iran. And it would make a lot of sense in the sense that uh of course it would be a disaster for the United States to do this. It would be a nuclear winter in hell uh you know uh triggered because tactical nukes would be seen as nuclear warfare. Iran would want to build a weapon within weeks, months, however long it takes for it to build
and and they would use them in retaliation because that's that's the the MPT doesn't they're in the MPT, but the MPT doesn't stop a country from if they are attacked with nuclear weapons from then escalating with nuclear weapons themselves. So Iran, you know, would likely be compelled to do this. Uh but nevertheless, it would also set a precedent that would then lead to countries al other countries that have nuclear weapons to
begin to prepare for their use. And you don't know what happens after that. But it's it's always a disaster. But nevertheless, the Telegraph, they reported on this and we reported that earlier um this month or last month on this show that the Trump administration was contemplating using nuclear weapons against Iran. Now, he was asked about this yesterday. actually Donald Trump while Donald Trump was tacoing out of these hitting back at Iran
hard and retaliating against them for attacking US military personnel uh in the air bases uh within Jordan. He was asked about the nuclear question and he actually got quite defensive about it. Listen to him. Yeah, I do have a question for you about fly cameras, but first on Iran, have you ruled out using a nuclear weapon against Iran? Well, I would never say that, but uh the answer is yes. I ruled
out I ruled out no use. There's no reason for it. And has what a stupid question that is actually. Here they are. They're they're they're totally defeated militarily. 32 minutesSo now I defeat them and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of them. What a stupid question. Okay, thank you very much everybody. So that was his response and you know you gotta love the bluster of and when I say
that I'm being sarcastic of of Donald Trump and the Trump administration because you know the justification for why he shot down a nuclear weapon should concern everybody. He didn't say he would not use a nuclear weapon because nuclear weapons are not to be used because it's incredibly dangerous and we should be deescalating, denuclearizing, and that the world should be free of nuclear weapons. Now, he said he's not using nuclear weapons because
Iran is already defeated, but the truth and the reality shows that Iran is not defeated. If Iran can prevent an F-35 stealth fighter from hugging the Omani border on the southern corridor, if it can launch surfacetoair missiles to make that plane leave the area and go back to Saudi Arabia with its tail between its legs, then Iran is not defeated. If Iran can respond within minutes to hours of any US attack
and uh hit major US military installations and hardware across the region, then Iran is not defeated. If Iran can actually increase its capacity to one uh export oil through land routes and uh uh you know other means teapot refineries and the like and export nearly as much oil as it needed for the last year during this war if it can increase its agricultural production as our friend Alistister Crook reported on a
recent program. If Iran can do all of this and then have tens of thousands, if not millions of people on the street every single day clamoring for Iran to get justice for not only all those killed by the US and Israeli regime in Iran, but also for the Iranian military and Iranian society's objective in this war. Well, I would say that that means Iran is not defeated. So, if Iran is actually
not defeated, and this is Trump's justification for why the US should not use a nuclear weapon at this time, then what does this mean? Do the math. It's not great math. It's not um it's it's not difficult math, but when you do the math there politically, what that means is that actually the United States is considering nuclear weapons. You should read it like that. Not because I'm trying to scare you, but
because first, you can't believe anything this guy says out of his mouth. Uh and second, the US is out of options and the US is not about to retreat. And we just have seen this over and over and over again. Uh there is no good exit ramp for the US empire. But what they're looking at is a bunch of walls. And what happens when 35 minutesyou corner a desperate and sick animal
in a corner? Oftentimes it continues to lash out. And that's exactly what the United States is doing. So uh uh it should it should concern everybody uh what Trump said there not because it's bad to not consider nuclear weapons but because the very justification means it's highly likely that the United States a brass is actually considering them and and so that's that's the reality but in addition to this everybody that AI
post and this is this is what is actually likely going to kill JD Vance's chances uh for the presidency in the coming uh months and into what will likely be a campaign announcement sometime in the next couple years for the 2028 elections. But JD Vance is often the water boy for the Trump administration uh and the one that's paraded out when something goes wrong. Reporters will ask JD Vance, "Hey, Vice President
Vance, what the heck was Trump doing?" And he is tasked with explaining what the hell he was doing. And it usually doesn't come out well, and it usually leads to more questions than answers. This was his response to the AI slop, as it's being called, uh, threats against Car Island, which, mind you, have been going on since March 13th of of uh, 2026, since the beginning of this war. Here's JD Vance.
Ron, the president tweeted um some AI generated video of bombing of Car Island. Was that meant to be a warning or what was the messaging there? Why did the president tweet that? Well, you know, like the president likes to switch it up on social media a little bit. Uh he would be the first to say, he doesn't make announcements about military actions on social media, but I think that he's sending a
message to the Iranians. Look, we know that they continue to shoot a commercial shipping. 37 minuteswe continue to have a lot of uh tools at our disposal to prevent them from doing so or at least cut down on them from doing so. And that's what the president is saying is look, you guys are shooting at commercial shipping. You guys are behaving like a terrorist country. You've got to stop or there going
to be some consequences. The president tweeted, I mean, imagine that. Imagine how humiliating, embarrassing it is to have to be what claims to be a serious person. hell, the number two uh political leader inside of the US hegeimon, the empire, having to go up in front of the media and try to rationalize a deep fake AI slop video that depicts what a disastrous and calamitous military strike on Iran. That's never happened,
right? It's never happened. The United States has not destroyed Car Island. Um, and for good reason because um, the United States has not targeted it because of its impact on the global economy and of course how Iran would react. The US has had to be restrained in many ways in this war, especially since the beginning couple weeks of that war. The US tried to conduct a civilian terror onslaught by killing thousands
of Iranians with rapid time targeting civilian infrastructure in the main but after that once that was exhausted and the country did not fall to US and Israeli dictats well that was basically it for the war and all we've seen is the US try to keep up with the war but they haven't been able to escalate in a manner after the decapitation after the assassinations and after the attacks on civilians uh to
a degree that can affect any change against Iran and and and I think that's where the big crisis lies. So to be JD Vance and have to go to the media and rationalize something that not only is one if it were to be true and if it were to be actually conducted would be a unmitigated disaster for the global economy and the world and two the fact that you have to you
you're up there talking about deep fake AI posts that you're that the president of the United States is engaged in this childish behavior about a war that is incredibly important to the American people and the people of the world. Maybe the most important flash point. Yeah, it definitely is the most important flash point of war that affects everybody in the world at this time. Uh the the Independent, as I put up
earlier, said that this could break public trust. What public trust? The Trump administration is polling at about 33% approval, and that's to be generous. Some polls show even slightly lower around 30 to 32%. So, we're talking about public trust already having been broken. And how could it not be when deep fake AI posts are being shared and bandied about? And this is happening a lot also on the White House official account.
I have people from abroad outside of the United States who will comment to me and message me saying, "Danny, what is going on? Why is your president posting AI videos? Is this for real? Like why why is this account hacked? Like people will ask this question. They will ask me, is this account hacked? Because they can't believe that the official White House account would be engaged in this kind of behavior. But
I don't have that kind of faith in the professionalism and the so-called uh exceptional dignified uh image of the United States because I don't actually ever believe that that existed. Uh there was just more of an effort before put on by the political class. But uh first of all, Joe Biden had what a gaff every single week because of a medical condition. but also because he was an arrogant, smug, wararmongering piece
of you know what, piece of excrement. Uh Obama Trump was for him. So, but Obama Obama went to Flint, Michigan, and uh drank the water full of lead, you know, pretended to because it probably wasn't actually Flint water uh in front of their faces. Barbaric behavior. Uh he also had Hillary Clinton after the destruction of Libya when the United States and NATO sodomized, funded and backed al-Qaeda and then sodomized and decapitated
the Gaddafi uh leadership in the government. Uh had Hillary Clinton go out there and say we came, we saw he died in the most barbaric, absolutely heinous war, criminal fascistic manner. So I don't actually believe that this veneer of US professionalism or you know dignified presentation in front of the world even as it commits these horrific war crimes and tries to destroy anybody that tries to actually uh develop sovereignty and freedom
somehow is a real thing. But under Trump there all pre the mask is completely off and the mask is so off that we don't only get the you know the um overt manifestations rhetoric and all of this that show wow yeah the empire has no clothes. No we also get almost like we are viewing the internal chaos and machinations of a system in crisis. So we're getting these disagreements. We're getting major
internal chaos in the military. We're getting uh you know even internal fights between the media political class right the the fourth estate the arm of the military-industrial complex and Wall Street fighting with the Trump administration. And we are having a hard time now, a harder and harder time with the Iran war discerning whether that's just fake for public consumption in order to get us to believe that there's some kind of discourse
and debate happening that's democratic, etc., or whether it is actually genuine at this point, whether there is a desperate need for the ruling elite in this country to tame this outofcontrol administration. and and and I'm actually having a harder and harder time discerning between the two because I've always believed that the corporate media, the Democratic party uh and major Republicans, these like never Trumpers. I've always believed that, you know, they they
were all in it themselves and they all want the same things. And I still do believe that in the main. But in terms of how this is going, I do truly believe that there are many who are who want to uh arrest this process, not least because it is destroying the capabilities of the United States to even think and consider doing what it really is supposed to be built to do. not
by the American people. Well, not advertently, not intentionally, but built by these wararmongers, these elites, these oligarchs to enforce an empire at a global scale with particular targets that they have a long time ago, the US military brass and the neocons determined cannot actually be fought one by one. So there never has really been an argument I've seen of let's go to war with China, let's go to war with Russia, let's
go to war with Iran singular in a singular manner. Not like the US invasion of Afghanistan, not like the US occupation of Iraq. None of that. There's never been arguments especially around these three now burgeoning powers. No, actually what has often been argued is that there has to be a concerted almost hybrid war campaign. This is the main argument of the neocons that the hybrid war has to yes go into these
singular achievable wars against weaker states that have vulnerabilities like the Libyas and the Syrias and the Iraqs for example, the Ukraines, right? Uh fortify them. But the these wars have to be fought almost at a distance that it's really about the US grinding down these uh uh the peripheries of these countries and circling them and hopefully squeezing them militarily, economically and politically so that they collapse one by one. That is really
the vision the true vision of people like the um the Richard hostas of the world of the council on foreign relations those who have truly actually dictated US foreign policy that's been their goal rarely has it been let's go into Iran that's been Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel there of course have been major push and this is where the the the complexity of all of it comes from is there are major forces
to in the Zionist camp that have wanted to see an all-out war with Iran. So nevertheless, the US has uh actually depleted its capabilities uh and done so to such a degree that the dream of that scheme working, the dream of the scheme of the United States um encircling, containing, squeezing these countries to death is actually becoming uh more and more and more unattractive. And the more unattractive it becomes, well, there's
really nothing else for these forces to do. And so that's why we see the hammer to the nail scenario uh be played out here. So this is the situation. This is the overall how we should look at this. Um and now I'm going to get to super chats and give you some announcements before I head out of here. But ultimately we are in a very deep inflection point that we've been covering
here daily that I believe is going to only you know exacerbate and escalate and create I believe real opportunities for this multipolar world to consolidate itself on its own terms. Um contrary to some of the pessimistic uh sentiments that I know some have I I don't I don't have them in the sense that uh there will be setbacks because the US as I said will always try to go after so-called weaker
links in order to undermine the pillars of the multipolar world but by doing that does it actually strengthen the uniolar world and US andy or does it actually just lead to more chaos and uh more problems and I believe it's the latter and not the former. Uh, and I think the Iran war bears it out truthfully. And in Venezuela and in other places, Syria, mark my words, and you can come after
me. Say, Danny, you are totally wrong. Syria and Venezuela are effed forever. Well, let's see what happens in the next 3 to 5 years, 7 years, six years. Hey, we even have Syria resistance groups that we don't hear about very often, but they exist. They are making it difficult for that al-Qaeda regime to have any stability. Now al-Qaeda regime doesn't have any stability. It doesn't have full control over Syria. Syria has
been bulcanized. But what bulcanization also means is that there is um leaky leaky 49 minutescives you could say uh from that country which also can serve the purposes of strengthening resistance. So it's not over. Venezuela. Venezuela, you could very well see a massive movement against this attempt at a US takeover of its resources in the coming years. Actually, I guarantee it because unlike some whose pessimism, I believe, is not rooted in
history. They don't look back and say, "hm, what happened back then?" They just say, "Oh, this is what happened. How terrible." Well, if you look at history, you see that the Venezuelan people have fought tooth and nail to uh uh achieve incredible victories toward their sovereignty, and I do believe that they will uh re-engage in that and continue to engage in that in the future. So, Patricia says, "Great job, Danny. Thank
you. I appreciate that. This is the absolute worst government in history, in US history." I I mean look I'm not a US exceptionalist. So I acknowledge as a lot as I think everyone should that the era and the epic the epoch is to say it properly. I've I've a lot of people criticize me for how I say things and I got to say I'm a I'm a kid from the east coast
of the United States or at least now I'm an adult and we say things really badly and so that's a hard thing to drop and I hope that my overall intellectual acumen and other um skills can make up for the fact that I'm going to say some things pretty wrongly incorrectly. My wife always laughs because I say sometimes I say them instead of them, right? So I have I have these uh
limitations but I'm not an American exceptionalist but I do acknowledge that in the epoch of let's say western uncivilization western capital he hijgemony leading into US hijgemony there have been progressive movements not meaning for humanity necessarily in terms of like human beings lives getting better but there have been progressive movements in the realms of let's say technological and productive capacities development and all that that's crew, right? Industrialization, all of this that
that has lament leaps forward for human beings in terms of what they've been able to create and achieve. But it's always come at the cost of the majority of the world's population. And every single US government has been complicit in some of the worst and most heinous war crimes whether it's slavery. Uh what's happened to indigenous people uh what happened in Philippines and the first imperial ventures of the United States American
war etc. Puerto Rico, you know, we can go on and on and on all across the world. CIA proxy wars in the hundreds, right? I mean, somebody who I love, Michael Pari, um, rest in power to him. He has so many books outlining this long history. So, the absolute worst. I mean, it's a really bad one. It's a really bad one. But you know the truthfully the body count that often comes
from what happens with the Trump administration. I hate to say it but it often is a little less than in others. Not because it's not blood it's it's not bloodthirsty and that this regime somehow has peace on the brain but often times the Trump administration has come on when the US military apparatus is less effective. But in terms of the impact of the Trump administration on US's the US reputation and in
terms of how rapidly US prestige and US imperial power is declining I would say that yes uh you could say it's the worst government history for the purposes of the empire or you could say it's the best in terms of speeding up its its collapse and crisis. But uh thank you so much uh DJ369 Miami for the super chat um and I do understand the sentiment and and and feel you. What's
the current status of the MU says for Dean regular viewer and super chat provider. Thanks so much for that. The status of theou Iran has said today that it is very willing to come back to those terms as long as they are abided by. And of course why shouldn't Iran say this? because theou terms are Iranian terms and Iran has already made them far more concrete and far more specific and far
more difficult actually for the United States to accept in that now Yemen, Iraq and Palestine are included on the clause one of theou alongside Lebanon as territories that must be um that or territories countries that must see an end to hostility. ilities by Israel and the United States for Iran to end this war. So for Iran, theou is very much alive in the sense that it's not going to abandon its demands.
But in terms of the United States coming to the table and actually negotiating anything, well, I think we probably all know the answer to that based on what I reported today and the events of the last several days and even since June, it's all pointed to the United States being what it is. agreement and capable is, I think, a very um I would say a very uh generous way of saying that
the US Empire is a flagrant and utter example of what it means to be literally built on a foundation that's against international law and against any notion of diplomacy worldwide. That's what the US empire is. It's it's agreement and capable. if you want to summarize it like that. But really what it is, it's a it's a ball and chain on the hopes of the world for a stable and prosperous international order
that addresses the needs that humanity has. It's the opposite of that. It's antithesis of that. Uh thanks so much Express 9450 or CK express where is my loses. All right. Um, here we have another one from you. Thank you. The situation, I don't know if you've watched threads, but I every day I hear the rustling staccato of the teletype. I don't know what you mean by that, but thank you so much.
Mr. Riffley says, "It all makes a lot more sense when you realize Israel wants the USA destroyed just as much as they want Iran destroyed." Um, I would say that Israel would love for the United States. I don't think the US want Israel wants the US government to be destroyed. Israel of course wants maximum influence over the US government so that it will do everything that it wants. Uh that is 100%
true and that's been a a little bit of a power struggle at times over the course of especially since the ' 67 war ended and the US took the mantle as the top b you know the top uh supporter and uh you know ultimately backer of the Israeli regime but destroying the United States I I don't know if that's 100% accurate uh control and influence over the US foreign policy regime. Yeah,
100%. If that means there needs to be lots of pressure, that ultimately means destruction for certain interest groups, right? Whether it's the people themselves and certain political uh factions, right? Repression of resistance and all of this, then yeah, totally. But I don't know about full destruction there. But I appreciate Mr. Riffley what you're saying. Old woman in a shoe. Okay. Thank you so much. That's a great name. Best citizen reporter. Thanks,
Danny. That's that's very generous. Um I I don't know if I can um characterize myself like that. Um but I am very much pleased with the growth of this channel and everything that has happened here. Now, I want to pull your attention actually to later because in just , I'm going to be live again. Uh, and I will be live with two very special guests, including one guest that has not been

getting inside access, not permission, but finding ways to get inside access into military exercises and the inner workings and and personnel and people who are in charge of making these decisions. and she focused a lot on the ecological disaster of the US military calling it of course earth's greatest enemy because it is the single largest poller on the planet non-state poller on the planet but it is I think what second third
overall so uh ultimately she will come on talk about how this relates to current developments what's happening with the Iran war and of course the entirety of US hijgemony and US militarism low key will also come on provide his analysis is of what's been going on and and where we're going.
