51-49 with James Li
Jan 23, 2026
In this episode of 51-49, James investigates the high-stakes text message sent to Charlie Kirk just 48 hours before his passing — challenging his decision to platform Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. We trace the digital breadcrumbs to a prominent donor and 'sister in the faith' — examining the financial ultimatum regarding US foreign policy that rocked TPUSA leadership during Kirk's final days.

Which TPUSA donor sent Charlie Kirk an
angry, some might even say threatening
message shortly before he was
assassinated? The internet, I think, is
undefeated because we may have just
figured this out. First, let's take a
look at the text messages itself.
This is a real message. Andrew Kolvet can
confirm it's real. Erica Kirk can
confirm it's real. That Charlie Kirk
received this. Let's read this. Okay. All of the people that trusted you, Jews
and Christians, including me, why would
you platform anti-semmites like Candace
and Tucker, there are many evangelical
Christian Zionists who would never give
these people the opportunity to spew
their hatred. I'm one of them. You say
people are accusing you of being an
anti-semite because you disagree with
the Israeli government. Well, what is it
exactly that you disagree with? You
threatened Jews and Christians with your
30 million followers. Are you kidding?
Be very careful, Charlie.
Real quick, that might in normal
circumstances sound like an innocuous
comment. "Be careful." But given what we
know about what happened to Charlie,
sounding a little bit more ominous.
You are in violation of the Ninth
Commandment by bearing false witness
against your brother Judah. When was the
last time you read your Bible, Charlie?
I'm coming to you as a believer. Genesis
12:3 Obadiah and many more prophets warned
that those who curse Israel will be
cursed. Your TPUSA Tampa event was a
disaster. Michelle Bachmann was booed
and about 10% walked out on her when she
talked about standing with Israel. You
brag about how you convinced all these
young voters to vote for Trump, but you
can't convince them to stand with our
Jewish brethren? This is not a joke,
Charlie. I am coming to you as a sister
in faith. You have accomplished so much
by the hand of the Almighty.
But he is going to lift his hand from
you. Don't fall for Tucker, Candace, and
the rest. The Jews are under attack. G-D
warns us in the last days that he
will wipe out the descendants of Edom
because they stood by while their
brothers Jacob/Israel was held in
captivity and did nothing. Don't be
counted among the Edomites. It will be
to your peril as well as the unfinished
work God was going to do through you.
All right. So, who could have possibly
sent that text? Out of the thousands of
TPUSA donors, I think once again the
internet is undefeated because we
collectively have figured it out
allegedly. First, shout out to this
account, Brave Report, because I believe
they were the first to dig up this video
from a lady, a Zionist donor named
Laurie Cordoza Moore, who basically
retold the exact same story, had the
exact same gripe as the text that was
sent to Charlie Kirk. Let's take a
listen.
... crossing with his mocking voice and his
mocking laughter. They were horrified by
what they saw. I had three couples reach
out to me who had been to the Turning
Point USA conference and this was in
Tampa a couple weeks ago. They called me
and said they were horrified by what
they saw. Horrified. They saw Tucker
Carlson get up and act like another
crazy person talking, condemning Israel,
praising Qatar with his mocking voice
and his mocking laughter. So Tucker gets
up and speaks at this conference in
Tampa, TPUSA, and right after him comes
Michelle Bachmann. Michelle has five
minutes to make an argument for why we
have to stand with Israel to these young
people at D USA. When she starts talking
in that conference about supporting
Israel and and and why America should
stand with Israel, the people in the
audience start booing her. I spoke with
her personally. She said 10% in the room
got up and walked out on her. That is
shameful. Then Charlie Kerr, this is his
event. He's responsible for what people
are saying and doing. Does he get up and
condemn Tucker or correct Tucker for
what he said about Israel and how
dangerous Qatar is to us? No. Did
Charlie get up and defend Michelle
Bachmann? Did he condemn the people that
got up and walked out on her that booed
her? Did he say why we stand with
Israel, we support Israel? No, he
didn't. That tells us everything we need
to know.
Okay, so not only did Charlie Kirk not
condemn Tucker Carlson, we know now that
he told him to go max. And as far as
that lady goes, maybe it was just
coincidence that she had the exact same
gripe as the donor who texted Charlie
Kirk. But hold on, wait a minute. She
also stylizes the word God in the exact
same way, spelling it, capital G-D, which is exactly how it was
spelled in the text.
So once again,
shout out to the Brave Report for
sending us down this path.
Now, this next part gets me super excited because
it shows the power of decentralized
journalism, and what we can do in terms
of sleuthing out information without even
necessarily talking to each other or
texting each other.
Okay, let's go back to the text, the last couple of
sentences of the text sent to Charlie
Kirk, because this is going to be the
smoking gun I'll show you in a second
here. So she writes,
"God warned us in
the last days that he will wipe out the
descendants of Edom because they stood
by while their brother Jacob/Israel
was held in captivity and did nothing.
Don't be counted among the Edomites.
It will be your peril as well as the
unfinished work God was going to do
through you."
So here's why that passage
is important. Because when most people
cite scripture as far as justification
of US support for Israel, they usually
cite Genesis 12:3, which is interpreted
as those who bless Israel will be
blessed and those who curse Israel will
be cursed. That particular passage is
much more rare. So I did a search for
that passage and I was able to find this
podcast, Oliver Tree Ministries,
Understanding the Times, with Jan Merkel.
and she interviews Laurie Cordoza more in
this particular podcast. Let's take a
listen.
Okay, Laurie, this theology, I get it that
it's been rampant in the religious
mainline Protestant churches, etc. It is
not just creeping, it is racing into the
evangelical church. I did not think I
would live to see what's happened when
it comes to this theology, aberrant
theology racing into the evangelical
church as it has in the last 20 years or
so.
Well, you know, we were warned too, Jan,
in the last days, not to turn away from the
faith. And we're witnessing that
happening right now. Yeshua said,
"Whatever you do to the least of these,
my brethren," -- who were his brethren, it
was his fellow Jews -- "and that we are
going to be judged."
One of my favorite scriptures to go back to when I speak
with Christians who espouse this
theology or this doctrine. God told the
prophet Obadiah that in the latter days
he was going to wipe out the descendants
of Edom. Now Jan, you and I agree. We're
living in the last days. This is a
prophetic word for last days. And he
told Obadiah that in the last days he's
going to wipe out the nation, or the
descendants of Edom, because they stood
by while their brother Jacob or Israel
was held in captivity and they did
nothing.
Okay, that is okay almost word for word
what the text said. Let's go back one
more time. God warned us in the last
days that he will wipe out the
descendants of Edom because they stood
by while their brother Jacob or Israel
was held in captivity and did nothing.
Another coincidence maybe I don't know
that is the exact same phrase though. So
just to make sure I went into Gemini and
I asked it to do a linguistic breakdown
to see how common that particular
passage is cited in relation to
evangelicals and their support of Israel
and this is what it gave me. Okay, so it
says based on an analysis of Christian
Zionist rhetoric and available data on
evangelical motivations, the specific
theological argument cited identifying
Adam specifically as Christians who
stand by and do nothing is statistically
extremely rare. In forensic linguistics,
this is known as an ideal marker, a
linguistic or ideological pattern so
specific to an individual or a very
small subgroup that it serves as a
fingerprint. Here is a breakdown of the
data regarding Christian Zionist
motivations to contextualize the rarity
of this Adam argument. We talked about
the statistical dominance of Genesis
12:3. Right. To understand how unique
the Adam argument is, we must look at
the standard reasons American
evangelicals site for supporting Israel.
The overwhelming majority of Christian
Zionism is built on the blessing theory
of Genesis 12:3. I bless those who bless
you. We talked about this, not the
judgment theory of Obadiah and Adam.
According to data from Lifeway Research
and Pew Research Center, when American
evangelicals with Jewish sympathies are
asked why they support Israel, the
distribution is as follows.
80% cite Genesis 12:3 promise to
Abraham, bless those who bless you. 10
to 15% Romans 11, Christians are grafted
in to the promise. 5 to 10% prophetic
fulfillment, general end times, Ezekiel
37. and less than 1% statistically ne
negligible citing Obadiah and Adam
specific judgment for standing by. So
the conclusion if the text had cited
Genesis 12:3 you must stand with Israel
so America can be blessed the suspect
pool would be tens of millions of
evangelical Americans. However, by
citing the specific Obadiah/idam
penalty for standing by the suspect pool
shrinks from millions to a handful of
very specific activists. The fact that
the text uses the exact same wipeout
phrasing attributed to Lori Cardoza
Moore makes the identification nearly
definitive. So, who is this Laurie Cardoza
Moore character? Well, she is number two
in the Jerusalem Post top 10 Christian
Zionist, describing her as a fierce
advocate for Israel in both the
educational and political spheres.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore founded Proclaiming Justice to The Nations, a Christian Zionist organization committed to fighting anti-Semitism and defending Israel. Raised Catholic, Laurie later embraced evangelical Christianity and even discovered Jewish ancestry in her own family history. Her faith journey has fueled a lifelong commitment to biblical values and the defense of our Judeo-Christian heritage.
Laurie has been a fierce advocate for Israel in both the educational and political spheres. She has led successful campaigns to remove anti-Semitic content from school textbooks and has helped pass anti-BDS legislation in Tennessee. She has spoken at the Knesset and worked closely with governors and legislators to promote pro-Israel policies. Laurie’s media presence, including the show Focus on Israel, reaches millions of people around the world with a message of Christian support for the Jewish state.
It says
Laurie Cardoza-Moore founded
Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, a
Christian Zionist organization committed
to fighting anti-semitism and defending
Israel. Just a quick aside right there,
fighting anti-semitism, I think, is one
thing. Defending Israel is another
thing. Those two, I believe, are very
distinct. One is defending a group of
people based on their ethnicity or
religion. The other is defending a
nation state, a government. Those two
have very different different
prescriptions and to conflate them like
that is obviously done on purpose but
you can see why they do it. Okay. It
says she was raised Catholic and she
later embraced evangelical Christianity
even discovered Jewish ancestry in her
own family history. Her faith journey
has fueled a lifelong commitment to
biblical values and the defense of our
Judeo-Christian heritage. Lori has been
a fierce advocate for Israel in both the
educational and political spheres. She
has led successful campaigns to remove
anti-Semitic content from school
textbooks and has helped pass anti-BDS
legislation in Tennessee. Once again, I
have to say those are two completely
different things. BDS is a political
movement aimed at boycotting or
sanctioning the state of Israel for
their conduct in Gaza, in Iran, around
the world, and
removing anti-semitic content from
textbooks. Not sure what she's referring
to there specifically in that case, but
we're talking about racism. One is
sanctioning a foreign government. The
other we're talking about combating
racism. Two different things. They love
to conflate it. Once again, she has
spoken at the Knesset and worked closely
with governors and legislators to
promote pro-Israel policies. Didn't say
pro-Jewish policies, pro-Israel
policies. Laurie's media presence,
including the show Focus on Israel,
reaches millions of people around the
world with a message of Christian
Support for the Jewish State. So, in
essence, her entire career is
essentially in service of a foreign
country. Once again, her TV show is
literally called Focus on Israel. In
fact, I found this clip where she sits
down in the Israeli media to blast
Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and
Charlie Kirk.
So you're saying while many are focusing on the protest,
for example, or the anti-semitism which
is more the radical left, or the
radical Islam, of course you're saying
that this radical right, this woke right
is dangerous.
LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE: Tucker Carlson & Candace Owens, look at the
things that they are saying.
There's even people who have started to raise
concern about Charlie Kirk. He's made
some isolationist comments about
supporting Israel as well.
Hold on a second. People are raising
concerns? I think it's maybe you who is
raising the concern. Allegedly. In fact,
check out this clip.
LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE: Charlie Kirk finally responded after 4
months to my question about his view of
isolationism, and how it is fueling
anti-semitism. And in Charlie's final
response to me, he basically threatened
me, because I called him out and said he
was violating the ninth commandment. And
you all know the ninth commandment. It's
bearing false witness against your
brother. There's a term used in Judaism
called lashanhara.
Candace Owens EXPOSES Charlie Kirk Was BETRAYED — Why Did The People Closest to Him Hide This?!
I AM COACH COLIN
Streamed live on Jan 23, 2026 #CandaceOwens #CharlieKirk #CoachColin
Charlie Kirk received a threat — and the people closest to him never told anyone. Today, we break down exactly what Candace Owens uncovered, the message she revealed, and why this moment changes everything.
This wasn’t a random comment.
This was a direct warning sent to Charlie before he died… and somehow the people around him kept it buried.
Why didn’t Andrew say anything?
Why didn’t Erika mention it?
Why hasn’t Turning Point addressed who sent the message — or why it was covered up?
Candace Owens is now putting all of this into the light, and the timeline raises even MORE questions about what really happened behind the scenes.
So anyway, let's jump into who this person
is. Now, this is who I think this is. Okay. And now listen to everything that I just read to you. I'm just going to
go over here. This person is Laurie Cardoza-Moore, an American activist,
filmmaker, a film producer, and evangelical leader. Born February 20th, blah blah blah, that doesn't matter. Best known
as the founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, a
proud Christian Philadelphian organization described as being anti-blah blah blah blah blah. Let me
just keep going here. She is the host of a television program called Focus on Philadelphia. She
has produced several documentaries including Lest We Forget the forgotten people, boycott this. Like the
focus is so weird. You'd think as a lady from Florida, born in Florida, who is
Christian, like the fact that she's only focusing on this one thing is very telling. She unsuccessfully ran in
2022 for the Republican primary in Tennessee for Tennessee's House of
Representative District 63. In November 2025, she resigned from the Heritage Foundation that Tucker Carlson is very supported by. She resigned from that. She was on their national task force to combat anti-Philadelphia, citing that it's continued association with Tucker Carlson was the reason that she was leaving. They were just affiliates. They just said, "Well, we kind of like Tucker."
And she was like, "Bye. Bye. I'm leaving." This is nuts. Listen to what
this lady has to say. Listen to her as she talks. I have another clip of her as well. Listen to this clip first. Listen
to this.LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE: Charlie Kirk finally responded after four months to my question about his view of isolationism,
and how it is fueling anti-semitism. And in Charlie's final response to me, he
basically threatened me, because I called him out, and said he was violating the
ninth commandment. And you all know the ninth commandment. It's bearing false witness against your brother. There's a
term used in Judaism called lashanhara. And that is false speech. And whether it
comes out of Charlie's mouth, or whether he gives a
platform to another mouth or two who state lies and disinformation, then he
is collaborating with the enemy. He is just as guilty. And God warns us in the book of Obadiah that in the last days, he's
going to wipe out the descendants of Edom, because they stood by while their brother Jacob, Israel, was held in
captivity and they did nothing.
If that isn't the smoking gun, I don't
know what is. Right? She brings up the
ninth commandment. I believe she
mentioned the ninth commandment. Let's
take a look here. Yep. It says, "Be very
careful, Charlie. You are in violation
of the ninth commandment by bearing
false witness against your brother
Judah."
So, the next logical question
that I want to answer is, how did this
happen? How did we turn scripture? How
did we basically weaponize scripture in
order to justify certain foreign policy
positions that calls for the genociding
and killing of innocent people? How did
that happen? I think many of you know of
this already, but something called the
Scofield Bible, which I'm absolutely
not an expert in, but I found this great
creator named Olivia Swing, and she does
this great breakdown of the history of
the of the Scofield Bible and how it
was potentially manipulated and how the
different versions morphed into what
evangelical pastors preach today.
Olivia Swing: What if I told you that a lot of what
American evangelicals believe about
Israel and end times prophecy was
essentially inserted into Christianity
through one book? In 1909, a guy named
Cyrus Scofield published something
called the Scofield Reference Bible. It
was the King James Bible, but with
Scofield's own commentary notes printed
right alongside the actual scripture.
And these notes taught something called
dispensationalism, which is this idea
that God has different plans for Jews
versus Christians, and that the modern
state of Israel plays a critical role in
end times prophecy. Here's what
Scofield wrote about Genesis 12:3,
which is,"I will bless them that bless
thee, and curse them that curseth
thee."
His note said,"has invariably
fared ill with the people who have
persecuted the Jew, well with those who
have protected him."
The future will still more remarkably prove this
principle. Genesis 12:3 is about God's
promise to Abraham, but Scofield
applied it to how modern nations should
treat the Jewish people and by extension
the modern state of Israel, which didn't
even exist yet in 1909.
The Scofield Bible
was published by Oxford University Press
and it was heavily marketed. It became
the standard reference Bible in
seminaries and churches across America,
especially in the massive Southern
Baptist Convention. It sold millions of
copies. But here's where it gets even
more interesting. After Scofield died,
Oxford University Press kept revising
his notes. In 1984, they published the
New Scofield Study Bible and added this
line."For a nation to commit the sin of
anti-semitism brings inevitable
judgment."
Hm. They intensified the
interpretation. They made it stronger.
And then modern Christian Zionist
leaders like John Hegy, who's the
founder of Christians United for Israel,
well, they took it even further. Okay.
Hegy says,"The man or nation that lifts
a voice or a hand against Israel invites
the wrath of God."
Do you see the progression? Scofield started it,
Oxford University Press amplified it
after his death, and now, megachurch
pastors are preaching it as absolute
biblical truth. Entire generations of
Americans grew up believing these
interpretations were basically as
authoritative as scripture itself, as
demonstrated by the infamous Ted Cruz
and Tucker Carlson interview.TED CRUZ: Where does my support for Israel come
from? Number one, because biblically we
are commanded to support Israel. But
number two ...
TUCKER CARLSON: Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. You're a
senator, and now you're throwing out
theology and I am a Christian, and I am
allowed to weigh in on this.
We are commanded as Christians to
support the government of Israel?
TED CRUZ: We are commanded to support Israel.
And there's evidence this wasn't
organic. Scofield had close
relationships with wealthy financiers,
specifically a Wall Street lawyer named
Samuel Untermyer, who was a passionate
Zionist. Some historians suggest
Untermyer helped fund and promote
Scofield's career, including his trips
to Europe, where he connected with
Oxford University Press. Whether that's
true or not, the result is undeniable.
Okay. American evangelical Christianity
was fundamentally reshaped to support
the idea that blessing Israel, meaning
the modern political state, is a
biblical mandate.
And here's the uncomfortable part. A lot of
theologians, including conservative
Bible believing scholars, call
dispensationalism heresy. They say it's a complete
distortion of what scripture actually
teaches. But it's running rampant
through mega churches in America.DR. MIKE EVANS, FRIENDS OF ZION MUSEUM: For the
first time in history, the state of
Israel has officially partnered with
1,000 strategic pastors to
commission them as ambassadors to combat
anti-semitism and reach the youth of
their generation.
REPORTER: Dr. Mike Evans says Israel's fight is
not just on the battlefield.
DR. MIKE EVANS, FRIENDS OF ZION MUSEUM: Right now
there's an ideological war that Israel
is losing. So they need the
evangelicals. They need the Zionist to
fight an ideological war.
CHRIS MITCHELL, AMBASSADORS SUMMIT, JERUSALEM: One of the goals of this gathering is to
strengthen Christian support during a
time of growing global anti-semitism.
They say the pulpit must speak louder
than the propaganda.
Pastors are teaching it from the pulpit,
Christians are being sent on free trips
to Israel funded by pro-Israel
organizations, and church curricula are
being shaped to promote this theology.DR. MIKE EVANS, FRIENDS OF ZION MUSEUM: We're launching in 2026 a global program
to reach 1 million pastors and 1 million
churches globally to teach them a
biblical world view so they realize
God's not cancelling any promises to the
Jewish people, and he's not cancelling for
the Christians either.
And church curricula are being shaped to
promote this theology. And millions of
evangelical Christians now believe that
supporting the modern state of Israel,
no matter what its government does, is
non-negotiable. So, you've got tens of
millions of American Christians
supporting Israel, not out of concern
for Jewish safety, but because they need
Jews in Israel to fulfill their own
religious narrative. Kind of convenient,
huh?
Yes. Very convenient indeed, you could
say. And once again, big shout out to
Olivia Swing for putting that very
concise and informative history of the
evolution of the Scofield Bible for us.
Now, back to our girl Lauriee Mendoza-
Moore. Guess what she was talking about
the day after Charlie Kirk was
assassinated? Let's take a listen.
LAURIE CARDOZA-MOORE: We have to stand shoulder-to-shoulder
with our Jewish brethren, and fight this
battle against this enemy that wants to
destroy our Judeo-Christian values.
We're going to pick ourselves up, we're
going to recover from this incident,
this horrible incident that happened,
not just on September 11, 2001, but what
happened to Charlie Kirk yesterday, and
we're going to defend our territory. We
are going to stand and defend what is
just, what is good, and what is right
against that which is evil.
I want to thank you all so much for your
prayers. I want you
to continue praying for this nation,
praying and asking the Lord himself,
what is your part, what role do you play
in fighting this beast? This is the
challenge of our generation. All
generations are tested.
This is our test.
So there you have it. That's the kind of
environment that Charlie Kirk worked in.
And I think that's why so many of us
called out, I would say, a certain
foreign nation, for at the very least,
hijacking the narrative surrounding his
assassination.
And it wasn't just the
peanut gallery, okay? People like me
that were asking the questions. It was
people in high ranking government
positions, including people in the
Senate Foreign Intelligence Committee
that wanted to know whether or not a
foreign government was involved in the
death of Charlie Kirk. But hey, we're
all just conspiracy theorists.
That is it for me this week. Let me know what
you think about this whole thing, this
hijacking of scripture, one could say,
to justify foreign policy, and even
domestic policy, around things like
censorship. Let me know what you think
in the comment section below, especially
if you're religious. Is this moral? Is
this just what is being done right now?

Laurie Cardoza-Moore (born February 20, 1962) is an American activist, film producer and evangelical leader who hosts the television program Focus On Israel on NRB TV.[1]
She became known in 2010 for campaigning against the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, which led some to describe her as anti-Muslim.[2][3][4] She is also known for campaigning for anti-BDS laws and against controversial school textbooks.[5] As Special Envoy to the United Nations, she states to focus on human rights abuses against Jews, Christians and Muslims.[6]
In 2022 she ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primary for Tennessee House of Representatives District 63 against Jake McCalmon.[7]
Early life
Cardoza-Moore was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.[7] She grew up as a Catholic, but later discovered that she may be descendant from Portuguese Jews who were forced to convert to Catholicism during the Inquisition.[5]
She received an associate degree from the University of Florida in 1981 and the KD Conservatory College of Film and Dramatic Arts in 1987.[7] She later moved to Franklin, Tennessee, from where she based her activism.[8]
Political activism
A Christian Zionist,[9][10] Cardoza-Moore is the founder and president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations (PJTN), which describes itself as a counter-jihad organization.[11] The group states to be committed to fighting anti-Semitism, but was itself once deemed an anti-Muslim "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center,[8] although this designation was eventually removed.[12]
She became known for leading the campaign against the construction of the new Islamic Center of Murfreesboro in 2010,[3] and appeared in interviews on national television such as CNN, CBN[13] and The Daily Show arguing for "stopping the advance of radical Islam in America."[5] She charged that members involved in the construction effort had ties to Islamist terrorist organizations,[14] alleging ties with extremists in Somalia and Gaza.[5] Legal actions by the PJTN against the expansion of the mosque continued until they were finally dismissed in 2014.[5]
She was appointed Special Envoy to the United Nations for the World Council of Independent Christian Churches in 2011, where she has focused on Middle East Affairs, Jewish and Christian relations and Human Rights and has had briefings with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.[15] In this capacity she represents 44 million Christian congregants worldwide.[16]
Attitude towards Israel
The World Council of Churches has been described as taking an adversarial position toward the state of Israel.[64] It has also been claimed the council has focused particularly on activities and publications criticizing Israel in comparison with other human rights issues.[65][66] Because the WCC never opposed or had any official comments on the destruction of Jewish religious sites in the Middle East, but has constantly complained about Israel's alleged crimes towards Christian sites in Israel, Israel has pointedly ignored the WCC for 50 years and often stated that the WCC's opinions on Israel are hypocritical to the point of being bankrupt. It is similarly claimed that it downplayed appeals from Egyptian Copts about human rights abuses under Sadat and Mubarak, in order to focus on its neighbour.[64] In 2009, the Council called for an international boycott on goods produced in Israeli settlements, which it described as 'illegal, unjust' and 'incompatible with peace'.[67] In 2013, the General Secretary was reported to claim in Cairo, "We support the Palestinians. The WCC supports the Palestinians, because they are in the right."[68] The WCC's Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) has been criticised by the Board of Deputies of British Jews for promoting "an inflammatory and partisan programme at the expense of its interfaith relations".[69] The WCC secretariat was involved in preparing and helped disseminate the Kairos Palestine Document, which declares “the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land is a sin against God and humanity because it deprives the Palestinians of their basic human rights”, and in the view of one critic, its "authors want to see a single state".[70] On the other hand, the WCC claims "Antisemitism is sin against God and man".[71]
Opposition to Christian Zionism
Christian Zionism, which has long represented a substantial proportion of historic and contemporary Protestants,[72][73] is characterised as a view which "distort(s) the interpretation of the Word of God" and "damage(s) intra-Christian relations".[74]In this context, what is a source of concern is that Islamic fundamentalisms are giving rise to a counter reaction of other religious fundamentalisms, the most dangerous of which is Jewish fundamentalism which exploits the Islamic fundamentalist phenomenon to justify before western societies the distasteful aberrations of Zionism in Palestine.

In 2013 she gained nationwide attention for campaigning against a geography textbook used in her school district that asked students if a Palestinian suicide bomber who kills "several dozen Israeli teenagers in a Jerusalem restaurant" is "acting as a terrorist or as a soldier fighting a war." The publisher eventually removed the line from future editions.[17]
Her organization was the driving force behind a bill passed in the Tennessee state legislature in 2015 that condemned Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel as anti-Semitic, the first such action taken by any state legislature in the US. She later handed a framed copy of the resolution to Israeli Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein.[5] She has later pushed for similar resolutions in other states.[17]
She has called on the US Justice Department "to launch a full and thorough investigation" into Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's "possible connections to the Muslim Brotherhood," and has accused Omar of being a "Hamas plant" in Congress.[1]
In 2020 she spread misinformation about the presidential election while urging people to "defend our Constitutional Republic" before the January 6 United States Capitol attack,[3] where she stated she would be present.[18] She has been accused of tapping active-duty military officials and veterans to join the insurrection.[19] She later blamed the attack on antifa.[4]
She has worked with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to make the Hebrew Bible a requirement in Florida public schools, claiming that the US is "founded on Torah".[10] She received praise from a spokesman for DeSantis for her review of textbooks that "caught and corrected dozens of books to prevent political indoctrination of Florida's children."[19]
She has vocally criticized conservative commentators Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson for their "Jew-hatred", calling their ideas "heresy" and "demonic".[9][20]
Commission appointment and election
Cardoza-Moore has accused the US education system of promoting "anti-American propaganda" on Fox & Friends.[21] In 2021 she was appointed to the Tennessee Textbook and Instructional Materials Quality Commission, nominated by House Speaker Cameron Sexton, which is responsible for recommending textbooks and instructional materials to the Tennessee Department of Education.[3] The appointment was criticized by the Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR) for her "anti-Muslim rhetoric",[3] as well as dozens of local faith leaders who signed a letter from the American Muslim Advisory Council.[22] The Memphis Flyer also criticized her appointment as a "Mosque-Fighting, Insurrectionist, Vax Hoaxer, 9/11 Truther" and "anti-Black Lives Matter".[19] She denied being a 9/11 truther during a hearing on the appointment, a claim which was based on a textbook review from her organization.[14]
In 2022 she narrowly lost in the Republican primary for Tennessee House of Representatives District 63 against Jake McCalmon. She received 41.9% of the votes against McCalmon's 44.4%.[7]
Personal life
Cardoza-Moore has five children whom she has homeschooled.[4][21] She is married to Stan Moore, a two-time Emmy Awards-winning film producer and director.[23]
She refers to herself with the degree ThD, an honorary doctorate in theology she received from the Latin University of Theology, which is described as an unaccredited diploma mill.[18]
