There is no shorter route to power than through the genitals of male leaders. This principle guided the Lolita Gambit, played by the Mossad through its "Agent" Jeffrey Epstein

LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman: Trump is ‘worse than useless as a president’

Key Points

** Speaking at CNBC’s Disruptor 50 event, the investor and entrepreneur called Trump “worse than useless” as a president, highlighting his divisive moves related to race and so-called “fake news.”
** Hoffman also spoke about entrepreneurialism, suggesting that Uber failed its transition from “pirates” to “navy.”

LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman is not shy when expressing his opinions of President Donald Trump.

The entrepreneur, who now sits on Microsoft’s board of directors and is a partner at venture capital firm Greylock, campaigned publicly for Hillary Clinton and in March said that Trump was even worse than he feared.

In an interview with CNBC’s Julia Boorstin at the Disruptor 50 event in San Francisco on Wednesday night, Hoffman had perhaps his harshest words yet about the president, calling him “worse than useless” and saying that he’d “take someone randomly picked from a phone book” over him as president.

He singled out Trump’s criticism of legitimate news sources like CNN as “basically criminal negligence” because we need to have “robust media functions” to check abuses by government.

Hoffman also discussed entrepreneurialism and the challenges of turning a start-up into a successful high-scale business.

One challenge, he said, is maintaining a consistent culture as a company goes through different stages — the CEO of a 50-person company might be able to interview every new employee for cultural fit, for example, while a 10,000-person company needs systems in place to communicate the company’s cultural mandates to new hires.

He also suggested that Uber, while it did many things right, missed the transition from being “pirates” to being “navy” — that is, from scrappy start-up to powerful established company — and that some of its cultural problems may have arisen because of that.

Here’s the full comment from Hoffman regarding Trump:

“You know I obviously last year campaigned relatively publicly and vocally against Trump as a candidate. I also think he is, you know, worse than useless as a president. I sometimes say at dinner parties, I’d take someone randomly picked from a phone book over him as a selection for president. And I think we’re seeing all kinds of play on that. Everything from, you know, a broad-based incompetence when it comes to very key race and unity issues ... you know, like calling CNN ‘fake news’ is I think actually basically criminal negligence, right, because it’s like ‘no, we need to have robust media functions.’”

Donald Trump 'singled out a 'young socialite' at his Mar-a-Lago club and told reporter 'there is nothing in the world like first-rate p**sy'' in interview with defunct golf magazine years before infamous Access Hollywood tape

• Donald Trump was profiled by writer Michael Corcoran for a story in the now-defunct Maximum Golf magazine in 2000
• Corcoran said that while at Mar-a-Lago, a 'young socialite' caught Trump's eye who was at the club during dinner
• He claims Trump then said, 'there is nothing in the world like first-rate p**sy'
• But Trump's comment did not make it into published August 2000 story after editor Joe Bargmann was asked to change it allegedly by magazine's top editor
• Bargmann said he refused to change it, but his editor eventually did
• The White House nor Trump have commented about Corcoran's claim

Roughly five years before the notorious Access Hollywood tape where Donald Trump bragged about 'grabbing p**sy', the businessman boasted to a writer 'there is nothing in the world like first-rate p**sy,' according to a new report.

The real estate mogul made the comment to writer Michael Corcoran during an interview for the now-defunct Maximum Golf magazine, the Daily Beast reported.

Corcoran was following Trump around for a profile story while at his Florida golf club, Mar-a-Lago, that was published in the August 2000 issue.

The writer and another editor confirmed to the Daily Beast that the comment was made when the billionaire singled out a 'young socialite' who was at the club during dinner and caught his eye.

According to Corcoran, Trump said, 'there is nothing in the world like first-rate p**sy.'

But Trump's alleged remark did not actually make it into the published story.

Corcoran and his editor both said they were not allowed to publish the line in the story. The writer also said that future convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were on Trump's jet when they flew down to his golf club in 2000 (file above in 2000)

An editor of the magazine, Joe Bargmann, was not allowed to put the statement into the profile story of Trump.

'I was asked to change the last word of the story from 'p**sy.' When I refused, my top editor changed the quote,' Bargmann told The Daily Beast.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Beast. In addition, the magazine's editor-in-chief, Michael Caruso, has not responded to requests for comment either.

DailyMail.com has contacted the White House for comment.

Corcoran also noted that he was not the only guest who flew on Trump's plane from New York down to Florida for that weekend.

Trump had the plane wait at the marine terminal for pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his friend Ghislaine Maxwell - who were later convicted of paying minors for sexual massages that included rape as part of a pyramid scheme.

Corcoran's profile on Trump also displays how the businessman asked his golf pals if they liked the looks of his then-girlfriend Melania (above together in 2000)

[x]
While at Mar-a-Lago (above) during the trip, Trump also bragged about his numerous properties to his golf buddies

At the time that the article was being written, Corcoran said that he didn't know Epstein or Maxwell.

He said that he remembers the real estate mogul standing in the plane's doorway and yelling to the pair, 'You broke the cardinal rule, Jeffery! Never be late for someone else's plane!'

Corcoran's profile on Trump also displays how the businessman bragged about his numerous properties and asking his golf pals if they liked the looks of his then-girlfriend Melania.

This latest report comes after the president has reportedly expressed doubt over the authenticity of the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape in recent days.

This latest report comes after the president has reportedly expressed doubt over the authenticity of the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape where he women will let you 'grab 'em by the p**sy when you're famous' while speaking to Billy Bush (left)

Trump has apparently started to claim that it was not him on the 2005 Access Hollywood recording saying women will let you 'grab 'em by the p**sy when you're famous,' according to a New York Times report.

But when the tape was released last October, Trump verified that it was real and apologized for his 'locker room talk.'

'I said it, I was wrong and I apologize,' Trump said at the time.

'Anyone who knows me knows these words don't reflect who I am. I said it, I was wrong and I apologize.'

That same tape also resulted in Billy Bush, who was interviewing Trump, being fired from NBC.

Trump sent several tweets on Wednesday after NBC fired Matt Lauer over several sexual misconduct allegations made against him by staffers

Back in January, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson wrote about Trump hitting back at him for joking about his hair.

'But I get more pussy than you do,' Carlson recalls Trump saying.

Trump has consistently denied claims that 16-plus women who have accused him of sexual misconduct are all lying.

In several tweets on Wednesday, Trump seemingly celebrated the firing of NBC host Matt Lauer for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace”.

Trump has praised the women who came forward to accuse Democratic Senator Al Franken of sexual misconduct. He tweeted the above statement on November 16 in regards to the reporter who first claimed sexual misconduct against Franken

In a second tweet minutes later, Trump wrote, 'And to think that just last week he was lecturing anyone who would listen about sexual harassment and respect for women'

Trump has praised the women who came forward to accuse Democratic Senator Al Franken of sexual misconduct after a reporter shared her story online with a shocking photograph of the lawmaker inappropriately touching her.

He tweeted on November 16, 'The Al Frankenstein picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words. Where do his hands go in pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 while she sleeps?.....'

He added: 'And to think that just last week he was lecturing anyone who would listen about sexual harassment and respect for women.'

On the other hand, the president has defended Republican Alabama senate candidate Roy Moore who has been accused of numerous sexual misconduct with teenage girls.

Moore has strongly denied the claims.

In 2016 Tom Barrack Too Said We Needed To Become Friends With Russia
by Josh Marshal
TPM
12.06.17 | 5:05 pm
https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/in ... ith-russia

I’ve spent the last few days putting together notes and trying to put together all the details of what was clearly the overriding and explicitly top foreign policy goal of the Trump campaign and transition: a rapprochement with Russia.

There’s one small thread of that story I want to note. We’ve previously discussed Tom Barrack, a longtime friend of the President and an extremely successful real estate investor. It is apparently through Barrack that Paul Manafort made his original approach to Donald Trump. The explanation of how that came about has never really added up. There’s clearly more to the story. We’ll come back to that.

Barrack was a major figure in the campaign, though he had no formal role. Unlike President Trump, Barrack has been an extremely successful businessman and real estate investor – real successful investments rather than razzmatazz and licensing deals. That appears to be core to the two men’s relationship. Barrack needs nothing from Trump. What I didn’t know was that Barrack has deep business ties to the Gulf States. His family background is Lebanese and he apparently had some basic Arabic speaking ability when he ended up in the Gulf as a young man. He either was or became fluent in Arabic and that allowed him to build the beginnings of his business empire with work and relationships in the Gulf.

Just before the 2016 election, Barrack wrote an article in Fortune calling for what he called a new “Marshall Plan” for the Arab Middle East. There are a number of different themes and arguments in the piece. It is a not unsophisticated series of arguments. But what struck me is that his central argument was an underlying theme of the Trump campaign: the need for a rapprochement with Russia.

Barrack argues that the de-escalation of US involvement in the Middle East had allowed Russia to gain a foothold in the region
– there is some real truth to this, at least in a very general sense.

The competition for a caliphate has more contestants than just Iran, including ISIS, of course, as well as Turkey, and the Muslim Brotherhood. As the US withdraws, Russia is taking its place as the non-Arab power player in the Middle East. The chill in US-Russia relations has left President Putin free to defy Washington. Without predictable US-support, our allies may have only one direction to turn as Russia capitalizes on every USA misstep in the region.

The emerging alliance between Putin and Turkey’s Erdogan has evolved in perfect Kissingerian fashion; sovereign relationships can be as ephemeral as their counterparties’ interests. And now that Russia and Turkey seem to have a growing relationship, a counterbalancing alignment needs to be crafted between the GCC and the Arab nations.

As you can see, this isn’t necessarily a rose-tinted view of Russia. But it led to the key proposition, which Barrack was advancing as a Trump campaign surrogate: “The only solution is one that works with Russia and not against them. Our vacuum forced that hand, because we are no longer the lonesome superpower shaping Middle East foreign policy.”

I want to be clear. This is not an outrageous proposition. The article itself is no puff piece about Russia. But in the context of the Trump campaign, it seems significant because Barrack was quite clear on what was required: an end to antagonism with Russia, which clearly meant an end to all sanctions and the beginning of a collaborative relationship, first in the Middle East and likely elsewhere.

What does it mean? I’m not sure. My main takeaway is that the focus on a rapprochement with Russia simply permeated the Trump campaign and the Trump surrogate world. If there was collusion, that doesn’t mean everyone was in on it. And it’s not like Trump made a secret of his Russo-philia during the campaign. But with someone like Barrack, is this a matter of someone with no particular geopolitical views picking up the campaign’s talking points? (We certainly can’t assume that Barrack actually wrote this article himself, though perhaps he did.) Or did the Trump campaign become a magnet for various people who already thought we should have a better relationship with Russia? I’m not sure. For now, I simply put it down as an example of how pervasive this focus was in the Trump world.

Fire and Fury' author Wolff calls Trump least credible person who has ever walked on earth. "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" author Michael Wolff gave an exclusive interview on NBC's "Today" Friday.

Michael Wolff, the author of a new book that gives a behind-the-scenes account of the White House, defended his work Friday, insisting he spoke with President Donald Trump on the record and calling the commander in chief "a man who has less credibility than, perhaps, anyone who has ever walked on earth."

Wolff, in an exclusive interview on NBC's "Today," said that everyone he spoke to for the book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," described the president the same way.

"I will tell you the one description that everyone gave, everyone has in common: They all say he is like a child," Wolff explained. "And what they mean by that is, he has a need for immediate gratification. It is all about him."

Wolff added that "100 percent of the people around" Trump, "senior advisers, family members, every single one of them, questions his intelligence and fitness for office."

Trump hit back in a tweet late on Friday, claiming Wolff made up stories and used his former chief strategist "Sloppy Steve Bannon" to sell the book.

[x]
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book. He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad! https://x.com/gop/status/949395088735723520

Wolff also contended that he "absolutely" spoke to the president during his reporting of the book.

"Whether he realized it was an interview or not, I don’t know, but it certainly was not off the record," Wolff said. "I spoke to him after the inauguration, yes. And I had spoken to, I mean I spent about three hours with the president over the course of the campaign and in the White House, so my window into Donald Trump is pretty significant."

Trump, however, said on Twitter Thursday night that he "authorized Zero access to White House" for the author and "never spoke to him for book."

Responding to Trump, Wolff said Friday that Trump isn't one to talk when it comes to credibility.

"My credibility is being questioned by a man who has less credibility than, perhaps, anyone who has ever walked on earth at this point," Wolff said.

Wolff added that he has the evidence to back up his work.

"I work like every journalist works so I have recordings, I have notes," Wolff said. "I am certainly and absolutely in every way comfortable with everything I’ve reported in this book."

"Fire and Fury" features behind-the-scenes anecdotes from Trump's White House, including details on how the most powerful men and women in Washington worked to make Trump president — and then turned on one another after he took the oath of office.

Wolff writes in the book, and explained during his “Today” interview, that top aides said at various points Trump that is “a moron, an idiot.”

“Actually there’s a competition to sort of get to the bottom line here of who this man is. Let’s remember, this man does not read, does not listen. So he’s like a pinball, just shooting off the sides,” Wolff said.

[x]

Wolff also revealed how people around the president noticed an apparent decline in his mental stamina.

“In the beginning, it was like every 25 or 30 minutes, you would get the same three stories repeated," Wolff said about Trump. "Now it’s the same three stories in every 10 minutes."

Wolff was then asked to elaborate on an anecdote he described in an article in The Hollywood Reporter this week in which he said Trump, at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida over the winter holiday break, didn't recognize old friends.

"I will quote Steve Bannon — he’s lost it," Wolff said, referring to Trump's former strategist.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, appearing on Fox News Friday morning, said it was "outrageous to make these types of accusations" about Trump's mental health.

It's "sad that people are going and making these desperate attempts to attack the president," she added.

Widely reported excerpts from the book have roiled Washington, including claims from Bannon that Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with Russians at Trump Tower in June 2016 was "treasonous" and "unpatriotic."

The president apparently referred to Bannon as "Sloppy Steve," on Twitter Thursday night. On Friday afternoon, as he left the White House for a weekend at Camp David, he ignored shouted questions from reporters about whether he had read the book himself yet.

Wolff’s book was released early Friday by Henry Holt, which announced a day earlier that it was pushing up the publication date due to demand. Earlier Thursday, Trump attorney Charles Harder demanded in a letter sent to Wolff and his publisher that the book not be published or disseminated. The book reached No. 1 on the Amazon best-seller list Wednesday.

A copy of the letter obtained by NBC News cites defamation, libel and "actual malice" among the alleged wrongdoings in the book.

NBC News has not confirmed much of the book. Wolff has been accused in the past of suspect reporting, most notably in his 1998 book "Burn Rate." In its review, the now-defunct media journal Brill's Content cited 13 people depicted in the book as saying that Wolff invented or changed quotations and that they couldn't recall his taking any notes or recording their interviews.
