On July 4th, President Donald Trump of the United States told us that the United States is exceptional, is the best country in the world. It is on the
rise, that it is back, that the United States is a civilization that all should aspire to emulate. Is this true?
Absolutely not. On this July 4th, what we should be doing is breaking down the reality of the situation in front of us
that the US empire is not only in decline, but it is absolutely abhored by the majority of the world. And should
anybody be surprised by this, the abhorrent actions of the US power elite and how they broker their power and
wield it to cause immense suffering all in the name of hegemony. We only have to look right now in Iran where over 20
million people are in the streets of the country to mourn their slain and assassinated leader Ayatollah Ali Hami
and the dozens of other Iranian officials who were killed in the 37-day war that the US and Israel ended up
starting. Thousands of Iranians also were killed in that war, including over 168 children in the Manab school strike
on February 28th via a US tomahawk missile. Israeli incursions into
Lebanon, the constant strikes on the Lebanese people amounts to a genocide and the United States has backed this through and through. The same goes for
Gaza genocide that so many have protested over the last several years a result of US foreign policy. The United
States is on the brink of a nuclear war with Russia. All because the US empire
and the Epstein class that back the political class in Washington, that back the intel agencies, that back the Pentagon, that back the
military-industrial complex, that sit in the boardrooms of Wall Street and the monopolies, that dominate the US imperial system. It is these
individuals, these monsters that have brought us to the brink of nuclear war with Russia. All because they cannot
handle the fact that Russia is no longer a country broken and destroyed by the fall of the Soviet Union. It is no
longer weak. It is one that seeks to assert itself not to dominate others, but to regain its strength and to
forward an independent posture on the world stage. and for Russia itself. That is why the Ukraine conflict was started.
That is why in 2014 the United States and NATO backed literal Nazis to take power in Ukraine. And that is why Russia
continues to fight this war and is moving toward victory. But the closer that Russia gets to victory, the more we see threats to Russia. The more we see
US warnings to Poland that Russia is going to attack it, the more we see Ukraine being given certain kinds of
drone technology and missile technology in order to strike deep into Russian territory. And the more we see NATO under US dictats, Europe under US
dictats get more and more aggressive as a so-called NATO summit comes into being in just a few days. This uh possibility
of nuclear war is very real and it is because of the United States which is the only country in the world remember
that has used a nuclear weapon in the entirety of nuclear weapons history.
Never forget that. Never forget that Japan after this nuclear weapons strike now today has the most military bases
than any other country in the world and actually celebrated July 4th. It was one of the few other countries that
celebrated July 4th as openly as the United States did. This is the reality of the world situation today. The United States acts not as a civilized country.
The United States under this power elite, this Epstein class, acts like a barbaric country attempting to ruin the lives of millions of people everywhere.
All for what? Not for us. Not for the living standards of the people of the United States. Certainly not for the living standards of people anywhere
because living standards have only declined the longer that the US empire has been allowed to reign. We have to remember back during the World War II
period was considered the golden age in the collective west especially in the United States. What has happened since then? since the US empire say since 1991
when it became the only uh country the only dominant system in the world where the dollar had free reign and it was
considered there was no alternative to it. Well, living standards have declined. Debt has entrapped so many countries around the world both private
and US uh and European backed and we are now seeing a explosion of poverty around
the world. All the while, the US tries to contain and saber rattle with the one country in the world, China, with the
technological and economic means to provide a real cooperation and assistance to global south countries and
impoverished countries seeking to get out of their current predicament. They claim, the Epstein class does, that
China is the debt trap, that China is the one seeking expansion. Yet, it's the United States that has dead bodies,
skeletons, mass graves in its wake. It is the United States that has the history of committing actual genocide.
Not just on its shores during its founding period, not just against the indigenous people, not just against the
enslaved population during the period of enslavement, but even afterward, just check out the Philippines in the early
20th century, late 19th century. Check out what happened to Vietnam, what happened to Korea. These were documented
genocides. And we could say that the killing of over 500,000 Iraqis by sanctions alone, which Maline Albbright, the US Secretary of State at that time,
said was worth it in the early 1990s, we could say that that's genocide as well.
So, is this something that we should be proud of? Should we take Donald Trump's word for it or should we get angry? And
I think the answer is we should be angry. Now the current situation in the world has huge ramifications for what is
happening in the United States. The US is consistently going down the road of a declining empire. It is political chaos
inside. It is the inability of the United States's political class to address the needs of the people. And it is the people still suffering under
stress under absolute uh disastrous conditions to figure out how exactly to address these problems for themselves.
And it has not been easy. But the fact of the matter is is time is running out.
The fact of the matter is is that the confrontation that the United States Empire is seeking with the bigger rising countries of the world of the global
south is coming to a head. Not just with Iran because that war is not over. That war, this war will likely last many,
many, many years. We will see the United States and Israel strike Iran again.
Iran certainly knows this. Iran has made warnings so many times before. And the fact is is that not only will uh a war
on Iran happen again, but the real aims for the war on Iran will come out slowly but surely. In many cases, they already
have. We know that Iran is the key to Eurasia. We know that Iran is a major partner to Russia and China. We should know that the ultimate goal and aim of
the US empire is to ensure that China never becomes as powerful as it already is becoming. That it never is able to
become the number one economy in GDP terms in the world. But that is fast happening. In the next 10 to 15 years,
it is likely that even in GDP terms, China will become the biggest economy in the world. But it's not just the economy of China that scares the United States's
Epstein class so much. It is the fact that China's huge, massive, technologically superior economy will
develop the means for other countries to not only become strong themselves, but to cooperate in ways that ultimately
exclude the United States, not just the US dollar, but the US as an entity itself. Because let's be honest, the US
empire cannot cooperate with other countries. We use this term on this show a lot, agreement incapable. The US is not capable of cooperating with other
countries. It only knows how to dominate. The Epstein class views every country in the world as a subservient to
it. It even views its so-called partners as that, including Europe and including Israel. When Donald Trump says he is in
charge, you better believe that the Epstein class believes who wields power in the United States believe they are in charge of Israel or they view Israel as
simply an appendage of the US Empire. We have to get away from these arguments and debates that Israel and the United
States who controls who in in in many respects uh these are two cheeks as George Galloway says of the same
backside. They are working for the same system of empire that is ravaging the world today. But there is hope because
the more that the US declines, the more violent it becomes. But the more violent it becomes, the more that the world is seeking an alternative. On this July
4th, we are seeing actual moves toward freedom that uh people are taking to
better their situation all around the world. Cuba's reforms against the US blockade have been lambasted by these
arrogant lefties and these arrogant social media personalities as an attempt to uh destroy Cuba's socialist project.
But in truth, what Cuba's reforms are doing are trying to accelerate a process where they are free of US domination,
where they can build up their productive forces to meet their needs. So many people have called Iran and the Iranian government and all this traitors to
their own cause because they are now talking to the United States about the concessions that are involved in the memorandum of understanding. But let's
be quite clear. If Iran can gain concessions from the United States, no matter how small or even temporary, like the lifting of oil sanctions, that will
benefit Iranian people and the Iranian government has every right to do what is to the benefit of the Iranian people.
Does that mean Cuba is foregoing its own sovereign process of development? No.
Does that mean that the Iranian government is foregoing its commitment to the Iranian people and protecting their interests and defending them from the aggression of the United States and
Israel? No. We have to stop thinking in these absolute binaries and economies.
We have to purge the uh powerful and incessant and repeated narratives of the US intelligence and Israeli intelligence
communities telling us that people on the world who are actually trying to seek their own kind of freedom are our
enemies or are doing it incorrectly and we deserve to be the ones to tell them how to do it correctly. That is the
imperial mentality at work. That is what is truly a problem because if we believe that we are so superior to uh countries
around the world should tell them what to do even those of us who are sympathetic to their causes well then how are we going to resolve the issues
right in front of us right as we look in the mirror right as we look out the window in our own circumstances because
ultimately geopolitics is not a game is not simply uh a chess board where pieces are being moved around and where there's
checkmates and where there's There's defeats and wins and losses. Geopolitics is literally life. Geopolitics is
breathing. It is the air that we breathe. It is everything that we do. It is the class war on a global scale. And
we have to be uh vigilant that on this July 4th when the Trump administration, Donald Trump himself is trying to douse
us and pour on us the acid of American exceptionalism that we uh arm ourselves with something a lot more powerful and
that is knowledge. That is consciousness. That is an understanding of how the world actually works and what the US empire's role truly is in it.
Now, truthfully, I don't really do monologues all that often. I do individual shows once in a while, but I
had to get on here and let you know my true feelings on this day because, you know, even though American people,
Westerners, the vast majority of them have no direct role in the ways in which the US empire behaves. The Epstein class
is a very secretive class. It is one that dominates the halls of power and many of us don't have any access to those halls of power. Actually, many of
13 minutesus don't uh ever uh not only don't have access to those halls of power, but are directly abused and oppressed and
exploited by them. But nonetheless, uh, we do have the unfortunate reality of being constantly told that this is what
represents us, the US empire, its myths, its lies, it's constant rebranding and reframing of what reality is. And in
that sense, the rest of the world looks at people in the United States as bearing some kind of responsibility for
the actions of their government. And if they don't view them as having a responsibility for the actions of their government, the fact of the matter is is
that we have to deal with every day how our a government the actions of our government ultimately reflect on us.
Right? And that leads to what? It leads to guilt. But don't be guilty. Don't be guilty because guilt ultimately leads to paralysis. What we should be is angry.
14 minutesWhat we should be is furious. What we should be is absolutely steadfast in our determination to ensure that one day we
live in a world where the Trumps of the world, the Obamas of the world, the Bidens of the world, the Epstein class all over, those who sit in the boardrooms of the biggest monopolies,
corporations, uh, the military-industrial complex and Wall Street that they do not have the power to dominate the world as they do. That should be what our determination is.
The rest of the world is vying for their own kind of project. That is why we cover multipolarity here. That is why we
pay close attention to the developments on the battlefield in Ukraine because once once Russia wins that war, it will
be a major blow to the aims of the US Empire's cold war. The truth is is that
that blow has already been landed in many respects because Russia shows no sign of collapse. But when that victory is finally sealed, when it is written in
the history books, it will mark a major defeat overall to the US empire. The same goes for China. Uh there is
absolutely no flash point right now where the US empire can truly provoke China into a disastrous war. But nonetheless, there will be one. You have
to understand that the Epstein class is not rational and it is not one that says that it's going to give up its power
willingly or peacefully. China will certainly gain its power peacefully from here on out. Its technological development, its economic development
and its foreign policy initiatives are not based on the aims, the ideals and the behaviors of the US empire. They're based on something quite different.
Their views on thing based on things like mutual cooperation and they're based on the idea that foreign policy and development is not a zero- sum game.
It is one that has to be worked on together. Now, that's not always perfect and it doesn't always end up exactly how China or anyone else would want it to
end up as, but it is by far a different model from the one of domination that we see by the United States. So on this
July 4th, just remember that humanity is not American exceptionalism. Hum
American exceptionalism is not even possible until the US empire is not able to dictate what a definition of America
really is.

We have to come to terms with history. We have to come to terms with reality. We have to come to terms with the true state of the present situation. And that is that the US empire, the Epstein class, these super rich, and corrupt, and absolutely abhorent individuals, only some of them can be counted on, and a handful are hoping that their empire's collapse will lead them to greater riches in the short term, and an escape valve in the long term. And what do I mean by that? That there's some kind of route that they can take, whether in their bunkers, some kind of escape, some kind of war, that will end it all. I mean this is insane, right? That there are people in the Epstein class who see the end of times is actually here, and they are trying to rapidly get whatever they can, take whatever they can, and leave us (entire collective) with absolutely nothing.

This is the struggle that humanity finds itself in right now. And on this July 4th, especially for my viewers in the United States, but really for my viewers in the collective west, and really for my viewers anywhere, just understand that we're only going to get out of this together. We're only going to get out of this supporting each other. We're only going to get out of this, not through nihilism, not through despair, but through optimism rooted in a change of behavior, and a change of actions, that reflects what we truly want our values to be.

Now, often times I have my friend Byron Berletic on the show, and he says we have to invest in the multipolar world. But how do we really do that? Because it's hard given the currency situation, given the economic disparities, and all of that, that exists for those who live in the west, to simply invest in multipolarity. But one thing we can do is, we can invest in countering US propaganda. We can invest in understanding people who are building a multipolar world better. We can invest in understanding the struggles and the plights of our brothers, our sisters, and our comrades around the world, in their common humanity with us. We can better understand them. We can better understand how we can help them. And we can also better understand how we need to help ourselves in order to be of true service to them. Because truthfully, when you have over half the population in the United States making under $30,000 a year, when you have trillions of dollars worth of student debt, healthcare debt, when you have millions of people who have been incarcerated, charged with a felony; when you have so many people stripped of their rights, and their ability to economically, politically sustain themselves in the United States, you have a massively disempowered, disenfranchised population; you have racial divisions, racism; you have scapegoating; you have social incohesion, you have mass shootings; you have dislocation; you have all of these things, it is really difficult to imagine solidarity to be worked out on a massive scale.

So, we got a lot of work to do in the United States. We're starting out from negative one here. But the hope lies in the fact that there are billions around the world trying to build something different. There is a resistance group. There are resistance forces inside of Lebanon right now pushing back an Israeli regime that is on a slaughter rampage. And we have to understand that the Palestinian resistance, the Lebanese resistance, the Axis of resistance, as a whole, has absolutely won enormous achievements in this three-year-plus year period, that has culminated in the successful pushback of the US-Israeli regimes by Iran. A successful victory; the forcing of US and Israel to retreat, even for a moment, is a massive victory, when you are talking about the nuclear armed military colossus that is supposed to be the US empire. China on the rise, Russia on the rise, Iran on the rise, and truthfully, a multipolar world order. And the aim of a dollarless world, or at least a world free from dollar domination.

And that has all accelerated in recent years. So don't despair. Understand that we are actually moving forward in humanity, and that the Epstein class is a tiny fraction of the population. They just so happen to own some of the most influential and biggest institutions, the ones that make the money go around, and the ones that of course also influence culture, and also influence our understanding of how the world works.

That can be daunting. But they want us in despair. They want us on this July 4th to simply barbecue, to simply eat our hearts out, to continue to put our heads down, and of course to suffer all of the various stressors, and absolute difficulties, and challenges, of what day-to-day life is, wherever we are. And that is ultimately where we're going to have to connect to others.

At the end of the day, we're going to have to stop walking by, and scorning the homeless individuals on the streets of US cities. We're going to have to stop scapegoating migrants. We're going to have to stop looking at people who have been incarcerated as prisoners. We're going to have to stop looking at people who make less money as simply poor and worthless. We're going to have to stop looking at people who are mentally ill as blights on our society. We're going to have to stop looking at people around the world as potential enemies. It's all connected, everybody! It's all connected.

And we have to begin to have dignity, not just in ourselves, but in how we relate to others, in this larger project called multipolarity.

That is my message to you on July 4th. I hope that you ultimately have a lot of time, or some time, to reflect on what it all means. I hope that you have strapped in, and that you are buckled up, for what is going to be a bumpy ride. And on this channel, we are going to cover that bumpy ride worldwide. This is a longhaul project. This is one that I have to thank everyone for helping make sustainable, for me to be able to continue to get out this kind of message to you and to a wider audience.

Inside Trump's Potempkin Village

Hi folks, it's July 4, 2026. I am Charles Carreon, punk lawyer, here in Silver City, New Mexico, and we're going to do a little rough justice on Trump's Potempkin presidency. I'm using the term drawn from a Potempkin village constructed back in the late 18th century by Prince Gregori Potempkin, along a route that the Empress Catherine the Great was to take, on her tour of Crimea. He made it a very beautiful little trip. All the houses were painted. All the peasants were out in their front yards with their traditional clothing, with their children, their animals, as happy subjects, not conquered victims. And so today, a potempkin village is a hollow, deceptive facade constructed by a regime to hide an ugly, chaotic reality.

We don't need 18th century Russia to see this sort of thing. Just look at the National Mall right now where the administration's celebration of the nation's 250th birthday is falling apart like a wet pancake on a dead man's forehead. The administration spent 14.2 million to rush-paint the Lincoln reflecting pool, a deep, theatrical, American blue, but it is now a stagnant, toxic, mossy, green because the dark paint cooked the water, and triggered a massive algae bloom.

Well, instead of owning the problem, the administration decided to arrest David Hearn, 67-year-old three-time US Olympic canoeist, for supposedly forcefully destroying the rubber seal _____. He's facing an indictment that could put him in prison for a maximum penalty of 10 years. That's a potempkin village, a broken reality covered up by an aggressive, weaponized justice system, that simply propagandizes government's lies.

It gets worse. I went to military school down the road in Manassas, Virginia. Anybody who has lived in Northern Virginia knows that during the summer, and July 4th, for heaven's sake, Washington DC is an incinerating, lethal swamp. You can be eaten alive by the mosquitoes alone.

Well, what did Trump do? He says he's going to go out there and give us a speech in this 107° heat. But that didn't happen. The parade was canceled. It's too dangerous. The Freedom 250 stage literally collapsed under its own cheap construction during rehearsals of the ______ hiding out in air conditioned tents.

What's this authoritarian ass-licking tell us? Three things. First, flattery has replaced competence. They can't do anything right. They just try and do what'll make Donald happy. Second, substance turns into spectacle. There is no substance here. Just something to see. Third, the normalization of collective delusion. Everybody is supposed to somehow look at this mossy green pool and say, "It's crystal clear blue."

When a government becomes a cheap plywood movie set, don't be surprised when the roof collapses on your head.

And that's some rough justice.

If I could have everyone back behind the line of cavalry, please.

All right, everybody. Chaos and confusion is currently erupting in Washington DC after Donald Trump's national fair had to be emergency
evacuated due to inclement weather. A voice just boomed over the loudspeakers saying, "Please find the nearest exit.
It's time to evacuate. Please step away from the stage." The stage was falling apart due to the wind. The event itself
is an entire mess. And beyond the insane heatwave over the past week that has sent dozens to the hospital, we now have
an actual storm that is brewing. Like an actual storm that's brewing. Beyond these white nationalist Nazi freaks, beyond the Christian theocracy that was
injected into this event, there is a legitimate storm brewing that is likely going to cancel the fireworks tonight that is forcing everybody to be
evacuated. And there's a lot of confusion going on throughout the event that I'll show you in video clips in just one moment. For example, as everybody was evacuated, somebody went
up on the stage and just said mic check, mic check. And when the crowd heard somebody say mic check, they all started to sprint back in. There are even
reports that they are arguing with Secret Service and that the fairgoers are arguing with the workers asking them to stay. Let me walk you through the
series of events that took place today in a very steady-handed manner because it's ending in absolute chaos like this video here.
I mean, hell, it was probably nice for these people to get some relief after the 100 plus degree weather all throughout DC. But at this very moment, the heat is the least of their problems.
In this video right here, people are being told to evacuate away from the stage because I guess they were worried things were going to fall off it. The
stage would fall apart. We have seen this entire event falling apart at the seams over the past 10 days or so because it is a money laundering scheme.
We've talked about it extensively on this show. Donald Trump reallocated funds away from the fair that we were supposed to have for America's 250th
birthday. We were supposed to have a fair that was the event of all event, the festivals of all festivals, right?
He allocated money away from that and decided to deny the land permits to the original owners of this fair and hold
his own fair. His own fair was a $100 million. It was actually $126 million to be exact, but 103 million of those
dollars were allocated and directed towards Donald Trump's aids, advisers, and close allies. Due to that, the entire fair has been an absolute mess.
They are underequipped when the heat comes. They are underequipped when the rain comes. They are underequipped to have storms there. Things are falling
apart. And you see like coaul and expansive foam falling off of all of these places.
Hey folks, what the hell is this guy possibly trying to do? What is he possibly trying to do right here?
Hey folks, ladies and gentlemen, please back away from the stage.
Everyone back up, please. I need everyone back behind that tent.

Listen, I'm clearly not like an event coordinator or an event planner. I'm not going to claim to be, but I've been reading a lot of articles and threads
from people who do specialize in event planning, and they all seem to be in major agreement that this event was so poorly planned, it put people in danger.
Not only were they not allowed to bring in coolers or umbrellas or water bottles that could help out, but at the same time, there wasn't even the infrastructure to deal with flooding.
There wasn't the infrastructure to have air conditioning in certain boots. The entire event is an absolute mess and was poorly planned. Here is the National
Guard ejecting people from Trump's fair.
Please stand up. We need everybody to get up.
Guys, this is like the fourth time they've had to evacuate the fair. They did it for rain purposes around day three. They had a small evacuation for
heat purposes around day five. They evacuated yesterday due to heat because everybody was passing out. And once again, they are evacuating everybody due
to weather. Over and over and over. They have [ __ ] this up. And you know what the funniest part is? I found this tweet from Steven Huffman, some Republican,
and he's trying to blame it on leftist saboturs. He says, "The main stage at the Great American State Fair continues
to have its problems." In this clip, workers are seen warning fairgoers to move away from the shaky structure.
Leftist saboturs are thought to be responsible. Dog, this is not going to work on every single thing that goes wrong. that the leftist saboturs somehow
summon a rain cloud and some thunderous clouds to float over the fair. What are we talking about here? By the way, I don't know if I asked this yet, but make
sure you drop a like if you want to help boost this video at a time when it feels like these algorithms promote all this right-wing slop and BS. I'm right about
to go out and have a really fun Fourth of July night in Chicago with my producer, some friends, my girlfriend, but I just wanted to sit down and bring to you guys this news first. So, make

something. The leftist saboturs aren't ruining this fair. Donald Trump had $126 million to play around with. And the question is, where did that money go?
Let me run you through the sequence of events that's happened earlier today.
Very quickly, you probably have already seen this in my videos, but earlier this morning, we saw a massive crowd of neon-Nazi white supremacists begin to
walk through Washington DC. They call themselves Patriot Front, but they are not patriots. They hate everything about America. They hate that we are a country
built off of immigration. They hate that we're a democracy. They hate that we have separation of church and state.
They are not patriots. But then to counter that, another large crowd began to develop and swell. This time the crowd was walking towards the White
House chanting 8647, meaning remove and impeach Trump from office. So these two forces of good and
of evil began to start to, you know, happen throughout the day. And this is where the inclement weather kicks in.
Bill Malujian, a Fox News host, says, "The weather seems to be deteriorating quickly here in DC as we watch the Thunderbirds perform." This was about an
hour ago. Dark skies, strong gusts of wind now starting to knock down fencing and anything not buckled down. Fencing
was falling apart at this while the flyovers were happening. Lord have mercy. Bill Malusian then updates uh
just a few minutes ago and said the great American State Fair and FIFA fan zone at the National Mall are now both completely cleared out due to nearby
severe weather. National Guard and local law enforcement were ushering people out. Unclear if slash when they will
reopen. Thousands now wandering nearby streets. And honestly, these photos don't look much different than the prior days of the fair where there was nobody
there at all. I will say there was an increased turnout today. there was due to it being the 4th of July and a Saturday. And even that increased turnout ended up working against them.
We then learned several hundred people have refused to leave the National Mall despite an order to evacuate because of severe inclement weather. Some are even
arguing with Secret Service agents. At one point, a crowd of people began running back towards the stage. I'll show you that video in one moment. An
officer is sternly repeating the order over a bullhorn, and the crowd is booing. Many have begun chanting USA.
USA. Bro, this is like the perfect perfect microcosm of Trumpism. Trumpism is going
to a fair on a very hot day with terrible weather. And when people begin to tell you, "Hey, this weather is going to harm you," you instead stick up the
middle finger to law enforcement, boo with law enforcement, act like you know better than some of the experts about weather. Act like you know better better
than the weather service overall, and then at the end of the day, likely trespass and defy all of the police around you. These are the back the blue
people, by the way. The New York Times uh reports from the National Mall. Let me read this. It says, "It is a chaotic scene at the National Mall. Several

Israeli slave Donald Trump has mocked Iran by claiming that he had given them a week off to perform the funeral of the
late Supreme Leader At Ali Kami and his family members. This despite former
American diplomats and political experts declaring the defeat of the US military at the hands of Iran.
Trump has meanwhile indicated that he will meet war criminal Netanyahu again at the White House and this meeting could happen as early as next week.
Millions of people today turned up in Thran to bid farewell to their spiritual leader who was brutally killed by the US
and Israeli terrorist on the first day of the 40-day war. UK Sky News reporter says the general consensus amongst the
Iranians today is the feeling of revenge against the Americans and Israelis. In the UK, eminent doctors have launched a
protest against the compromised general medical council for its decision to surrender to the lawyers for Israel in a
bid to punish medical workers opposed to genocide in Gaza. This will be the broad focus of my video tonight. Also in this

So, the deranged occupant of the White House has chosen to take a dig at Iran on the
day millions of people turned up in Thran to pay their last respect to their spiritual leader Ali Kame.
Trump had teamed up with his terrorist Israeli master Netanyahu to murder the Iranian supreme leader along with his
wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, and a 14-month-old granddaughter.
But instead of expressing remorse for his barbaric action, this Israeli lap dog today said that he was giving Iran a week off for the funeral.
We created the strongest and most powerful military. We won two world wars, the Cold War, left America's enemies in the depths of history.
We beat Venezuela in one day, and we knocked the hell out of Iran. They're dying to settle. They want to settle so badly.
We gave them a week off for a funeral because we're nice. It's true.
This Israeli lab dog, meanwhile, has today hinted at another meeting with his barbarian Israeli boss, Netanyahu, at
the White House. There are reports that this meeting could happen as early as next week. If this indeed happened, then
this is hugely important given the history of terrorist Netanyahu's visit to the White House and its subsequent
impact on the region. The last time this butcher of humanity went to the White House when his American lap dog had
softened his stand on Iran. Immediately after this meeting, Trump decided to launch an illegal war on Iran. And the
rest, as they say, is history. And he's the same delusional fool who has been desperate to find a dignified exit from
the Iran conflict. Hence his decision to sign a surrender document in the form of theou.
Don't take my word for it. Listen to this former American diplomat Alan Ay who was part of the team which secured the JCPOA deal with Iran.
Where are we now?
Um well let let me here's how I look at it.
I could be wrong. And you know in these sort of hot takes that we're doing inside the beltway people always gloss over certain parts of this. So let me
just start out by saying to my mind this war is illegal and immoral in addition to what everyone inside the beltway
points out just a gross strategic blunder. Okay. And people fixate on the third of that which is it was a massive strategic mistake. And we'll talk about
that but you know it shredded international law more than it did before. So all these people getting upset about Iranians violating
international law by controlling the straight, you know, that train's left a station. Um, so where we are is it was a dumb idea.
And thankfully after a certain amount of time, this administration realized it's time to cut our losses because if the
straight remains closed, it's going to have adverse political effects. This plays into the larger issue of President
Trump's foreign policy, which is a toxic mixture of incompetence and indifference, and we're seeing that play
out now. In terms of theou, I don't think we need to clutch our pearls about what it says or what it doesn't say because it's not binding.
There's no judge in a robe, you know, with the wig going, "Wait a sec, you violated theou. I'm going to enforce it now." It's an invitation to a dance.
Okay? It's instructions to assemble something that in large part, as Michael said in his Wall Street Journal quote
today, will never be assembled. There will be no subsequent peace deal. I think this administration made a
mistake. It's realized it now in sort of the limbic reptile brain part of its foreign policy and is trying to extricate itself as quickly as possible.
And not just this former US diplomat, a prominent American political expert who you have watched on this channel on
numerous occasions. His name is John Marshmer. He has once again declared America's humiliating defeat in its
illegal war against Iran. I'll say a few words just to start uh and I'll focus on where we are. And the question of
whether it's a watershed moment is another big question. And I don't want to deal with both of them at once. But just on the where we are question, I
think the United States and Israel started this war thinking that they were going to win a stunning victory. They
did not. And instead, we've actually suffered a stunning defeat. Uh not many people in the mainstream media in the
West will admit that, which is hardly surprising, but it is true. And if you look at the negotiations that are taking
place, it's quite clear that the United States has conceded on almost every
demand that the Iranians have made. It's really quite remarkable. And what JD
Vance is now trying to do is just operationalize this set of demands uh
that we have agreed to. Uh and uh President Trump of course can barely
bring himself to admit that we have lost. uh and therefore what he's doing is going to great lengths to claim that
we have won and if the Iranians don't recognize that he's going to bomb them again and so forth and so on. But this
is all nonsense. We have no military option. If we had a military option, we would have used it a long time ago. The
fact is that the last thing the United States wants to do is restart the bombing campaign. We just want to be done with this war. We accept the fact that we have lost.
But who can stop this delusional and deranged maniac from daydreaming? He is delusional and depraved for a reason.
The Iranians didn't need his permission to assemble in millions in their own country to say their final goodbye to
Ayatah Ali Kame. The video shared online shows the ocean of humanity gathered in
the Iranian capital to take part in the funeral service of Ayat.
But a Sky News reporter covering the funeral from Thran said that the general feeling amongst the Iranians was of
revenge against the Americans and Israeli terrorists.
Yeah. Well, in terms of the timing, it's 4 months after he was killed, and I think the Iranian government's decided to wait that long because they want to bury him when they can give him full
honors. And obviously, you can't do that during uh wartime. In terms of the feeling, well, we've been speaking to people here. Just to give you an idea, Kamari, where we are, this is one of the
main sort of routes into uh where he is lying in rest. So, this is a refreshment station they've set up there. And the uh
picture we've got of ayat to the left of that there's a script that says uh martyrdom is is like the fragrance of a
flower and it's bestowed only on special people. So martyrdom is central to the idea of what has happened to ham but
also central to the Shia religion. So the people we've spoken to who have come in and are streaming on their way in I mean the walk to the grand masala that's
the big mosque complex where Ham's coffin is lying in state that's half an hour walk from here. A lot of people here that distance from there. We've
spoken to one family who've come from the holy city of Kong. Uh a family whose 8-year-old son has written a book. His
father proudly told me about Ham. And that son Muhammad Mati told me he wants he well he said he feels sad but he says
he feels vengeful as well. And so that idea of vengeance is something that a lot of the Iranians we've spoken to this morning are talking about. Spoke to a
couple of grandmothers. They say they are here. here. They they've come here, they said, to um pay their respects, but
also to demand vengeance. And they want to see what's happened to Hame happened to Israel and America's leaders. Now,
interestingly, those grandmothers were also here for Hamemeni's funeral back in 1989 where millions of Iranians converged on
the capital. They had to actually postpone uh the burial of the first supreme leader Allah Ayatollah or mainly because the scenes were so chaotic that
the casket of the Ayatollah was tipped over and his body fell out. Now those grandmothers said they remember that day very well. But they say today they feel
will be uh the feelings will be even stronger because of what Kamei has taught them about the principles of martyrdom. that very important principle
again that concept at the heart of Shia religion but also about the revolution and also they say because the feelings on the streets will be one of vengeance
again saying that American journalist Patrick Henningson who too is in Thran right now explains why more and more

nuclear power, uh that were were were picked off, were profiled, were killed because of the sectors of technology and
education that they worked in, engineering, aerospace, all of these things. And it's absolutely incredible
that uh people in the west can separate this somehow and somehow justify it on
the basis of well they may have been a threat to us in the future or Iran's developing nuclear weapons. There's no
evidence that they were, but yet we have the victims of those types of accusations and this absolutely illegal
military aggression by the US and Israel. And and you can put faces to those names. In the UK, prominent
names in the field of medicine have protested against the General Medical Council, which has earned notoriety in
recent months for its decision to unfairly target NHS doctors for voicing their concern against the genocide in
Gaza. Corrupt Israeli stooges have turned the country into a slave of genocidal maniacs from the settler colony. Speaking on this occasion, Dr.
Rasan Abu Sitha, a British a well-known a renowned British Palestinian plastic and reconstructive surgeon explained how
the GMC was continuously harassing him for speaking about Israeli genocide and providing care for Palestinians in Gaza.
My message to the GMC is that we, the members of the medical profession, will
not allow the GMC and its leadership to become a tool of political censorship and repression. We're here in front of
the General Medical Council on Houston Road to protest against the weaponization of the General Medical Council by the
ProIsrael in order to enable and prolong the genocidal project.
The General Medical Council wants to overthrow the findings of its two tribunals that cleared me of any
wrongdoing and has gone to the high court to appeal against the rulings of its own tribunals so that it can try me for a third time.
This political witch hunt that the GMC is conducting on behalf of UK laws for Israel is an attempt to turn the GMC
into a political censorship machine in the service of the British government's
foreign policy and in support of the genocidal project. The GMC wants to turn

media has erupted in anger against this despicable decision. If you care about genocide in the Middle East and the fact
that so many rich, famous, and powerful people seem to back it, you may like to know that the UK's National Lottery has
just awarded the Board of Deputies 1.5 million pounds from the lottery charity to address, in the words of the press
release, structural anti-semitism and inequalities in the health sector which impact the Jewish community. You
mean people who were saying free Palestine? And you know what? These busy little Zionists, they're so fortunate.
Always demanding and receiving more, more, more. The Board of Deputies is an
Israeli lobby group or it's an Israel lobby group. It describes its mission to advance Israel security, welfare, and
standing. And for it to receive 1.5 million from the lottery fund this week makes me want to heave
like the ADL, the Anti-Defamation League in the US. The board of deputies very similar, all about quashing dissent,
silencing disscent against anyone who raises concerns about what's happening in the Middle East. So if you buy

Welcome to the show everyone. It's Danny Hai Fong. As you can see, I am joined by President Muhammad Morandi and we are going to cover the latest developments
in the Iran war. To begin, I wanted to pull up the latest news from the straight of Hormuz, which uh is going to
be troubling especially for the United States. They have been running, according to some reports, they've been running a uh military operation to
escort ships in the straight of Hormuz, but through the Omani pathway, through the Omani route. Unfortunately, they've
only been able to uh escort two of these vessels in the last 24 to , a Greek Greek bulk carrier and another outbound tanker hugging the Omani coast.
Now these are getting air cover and in some forms ship cover, warship cover.
But the big news is that actually far more vessels for some of being turned back by Iranian warnings. And this
contradicts reports that there is something between 20 to 30 vessels or so uh coming out of the straight form uh uh
under US escort from Oxios. Now, uh, this seems to indicate that, uh, Iran is repelling any attempt by the United
States to break Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz. Uh, what are your thoughts on this? This is coming on July
4th on the funeral as Pete Hegth has gone quiet. It's it seems like uh Donald
Trump's admission that there's going to be relative quiet has a lot to do with Iranian strength and less so to do with
the United States being benevolent. What What's your thoughts on on what's going on in the straightforward moves in particular? As uh as you've said on the show, time seems to be ticking.
Well, first of all, thank you very much for inviting me. It's always a great pleasure. I apologize for the noise, but
I'm at a studio and um and um I I have a some I have to I have a show on Almy I'm
on a show on Almyadin TV later. So, I had to do it from here and it's uh back in the background. That's where the uh
the that's the complex the Malah where the bodies of the martyrs
his granddaughter his his daughter and his and one of his son-in-laws were were that's where their their
bodies were taken and people went there for the prayers and we had millions of people participate this morning. It was
so crowded that I couldn't make it. I mean, I I I left home about almost three hours early and uh but uh I I went to
this uh it just like we I was in a place where hundreds of thousands of people none of us could
reach the point where the place where they're carrying out the prayer. So it was so massive that uh many of us could
be so tiring my when I got home I had to sleep for a couple of hours. But um yeah the situation in the Persian Gulf is
just one of those uh forever violations carried out by the United States with regardless commitments with regards to its
commitments. theou that was signed between Iran and the United States. It's clear that during the period when theou
is being carried out that is being implemented, the Iranians control the straight of most and yet the Americans
have been uh setting up during the last few days a corridor through Omani territorial waters or through through an
Omani corridor in order to circumvent uh Iranian control. And that's what they, you know, that's what they've been doing
with Lebanon, too. The agreement between Iran and the United States is very clear that the Israeli regime must leave Lebanon and that his territorial
integrity must be respected and the war must end. And then the Americans went and signed this with the Israeli regime
and the and the puppet government in Beirut where basically they gifted southern Lebanon to the Israeli regime
to do whatever they want. And Iran is saying we're not going to have any of that. We won't accept violations. If you carry out violations, then we will not
abide by our commitments. Whether it's with regards to the nuclear negotiations that the Iranians are not starting until
the issue of Lebanon is resolved and and other issues as well. Um
uh so um the you know but also the straight of Hormos is not going to be
normalized when the Americans uh violate their commitment. So the Americans are trying to escort ships through the strait in violation of the agreement.
But what they're doing basically is they're they're going to force Iran to push back. And a in in the agreement the
first month uh after the first month ends, we're supposed to have normal
passage through the straight, which will be like before the war started. Uh in other words, the number of ships will go
back to what it was four or five months ago. But when the Americans are violating the agreement now, then there's no reason why the Iranians
during the second month would normalize the number of ships that flow through this trade. So the Americans are hurting
themselves. And the reason why they're doing it is because of the Israeli regime, because of the Zionist lobby.
The Israeli regime, the Zionist lobby, wants to uh make sure that tensions between Iran and
the United States remain high in the hope that they can restart the war later on down the road. But
this is not going to intimidate the Iranians. And as we saw, I mean, I'm sure many of your viewers have seen the millions of people on the streets of Tehran,
the the resolve of the Iranian people is clear. the the the the the amount of the high degree of legitimacy of the state
in Iran I think is you know western media can no longer question in western think tanks for years they've been
saying that uh the Islamic Republic of Iran is unpopular it's hated by the people it's incompetent it's corrupt
it's imploding and that those fake narratives produced by their think tankers western media
their tech their books their published books. Um I mean you can you rarely find anything worth reading about Iran in the
United States. And that's why I said like Alistister book Alistister Crook's book uh resistance is good to read or going to tan by Flint and Hilly Lever.
These these are really good books or a dangerous delusion by Peter Oborn. These are, you know, among the rare books that
people can go buy and read and learn something about Iran that's that's objective. Uh so, you know, for decades
they've been saying that this regime is on the verge of collapse and they've loved using the word regime, but now we
saw they've lost two wars last year, this year. They lost the the siege warfare. They lost at the negotiating
table. Theou is clearly shows that Iran had the upper hand. But the funeral today, the processions yesterday, today,
and tomorrow show how popular was in the eyes of ordinary Iranians. He was far more than just like a religious
figure. Let's say the pope. He was a a revolutionary, an anti-imperialist, a highest ranking religious figure. And
and you know, Iran being one of the most highly educated societies in the world, millions of people, educated Iranians
went to the streets to commemorate him and to show their support for the Islamic Republic. So you would imagine that the United States and analysts in
the United States and ex so-called experts in the United States would look and say, "Okay, let's rethink our policy on Iran and behave in a more sane manner
and stop trying to undermine the country." But it's because it clearly doesn't work. But that's not what they're going to do. They'll never
learn. Even though people many across the world are now waking up to the reality of what goes on in Iran, but at the end of the day, those policy makers
in the United States, those so-called experts, those analysts and and the politicians, they're they're going to remain the same as as always. They'll
they'll never change. So the tensions that are that exists in the Persian Gulf, I mean the Americans may be able
to get some ships out through uh through through u a mechanism which violates the
deal, but ultimately they undermine themselves because the Iranians are not going to abide by their side of the bargain as a result.
Yeah. And that's exactly uh what's happening for somebody and and definitely we will spend a good amount of this show on this historic gathering at the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Hami.
Before that, I just want to underscore how uh utterly wasteful and uh ultimately as you said just hurts the
United States the more that they invest in this kind of scheme. Uh for so first it was that two US officials told uh Mr.
8,200 unit 8200 Barack Ravid at Axios that around 50 vessels were using with their transponders turned off this Omani
corridor that has uh at times US air and even warship escort. But uh there is
maritime traffic data that actually does contradict this. only a few were able to get out using this route and that as
many as eight vessels. So four times the number of vessels had to go backwards.
So that's a lot of resources uh to violate this deal and also to essentially uh not actually generate
more activity through the straightforward moves to force it through. Um, and of course you have the fact that Iran and Oman have come to
this agreement that says there will be uh joint control and it will include fees and it won't include the United
States. So uh the US is only making itself out it seems for us to be uh not only an untrustworthy partner but one
that must be excluded at all costs uh from here on out. What's your thoughts on this?
Well, the United States is constantly threatening Oman. And if you recall two, three weeks ago, Trump said, "If we have
to, we'll destroy Oman, Obama Oman, and whatever." And that's just the mentality of Washington. And it's it's all normal.
Um, I mean, even Trump's opponents when he threatens to obliterate Iran or to
bomb Oman, a US ally of uh or when he says he'll wipe out a civilization, it
doesn't register any in in the West. And that that just shows this is not just Trump. It's not just like uh the
psychopath uh half and sane psychopath ranting.
It's it's the entire political class that deems this sort of behavior and this sort of language to be acceptable.
There's no outrage just as you know there was no outrage in European capitals or in their parliaments when
they bombed the the Iranian elementary school and slaughtered 168 children.
There's no outrage at all with regards to this language. So he threatens Oman and um there's hardly any reaction in
the west but Oman is is intimidated by the United States. It wanted to it wants to have this uh joint
control over the straight of Homos but it's sort of dragging its feet now because of the pressure coming from Washington. But the Iranians have said
to Oman, and they've said in public, that if Oman wants to be a part of this, we'll be happy to do it with them. But if Oman, for whatever reason, gets cold
feet and backs down or walks away, the Iranians will do it on their own. So
it's not as if they're going to u uh relinquish control. They're say either they're saying either you will be our
partner, but if you're intimidated and you can't, then we'll do it alone.
And uh lastly before we move on to the funeral professor Randi uh one of the big uh unspoken
uh uh reports or at least undercover reports is that in the structure the uh
uh fee structure that will exist in the trade of mus from here on out uh run by Iran and uh in part Oman if they
actually agree uh Iran will actually be giving uh friendly countries special considerations they're saying uh which
means there could be a waiver of this fee and other special considerations given to countries like China which of
course has provided Iran with uh 90% of Iran's oil exports uh in recent years so
uh talk about this why is it significant because it um it really does send a message uh and what kind of message is that
well preferential treatment is directed towards countries that are friendly to Iran. Either they'll give them discounts
or maybe wave fees at times. I don't know. But uh it will be different for different countries. And I mean why not?
Uh the United States during the past 47 years has attacked Iran three times.
Three wage three wars against the country. In 1980 they encouraged Saddam Hussein to invade. They in western countries gave Saddam chemical weapons
used against his own people and against Iranians. Then in last year another war was waged. This year a third war. This year a massive war against Iran.
Americans brought all everything they had and NATO was helping them as we heard the secretary general admit when
he was licking uh Trump's boots. He he actually made that admission. And uh so
three wars will wage. Why should Iran give NATO countries or countries in the region that assisted the United States
preferential treatment? Why should they give Kuwait preferential treatment? But countries that have had no part to play
in this role or have good relations with Iran like China, obviously uh preferential treatment makes sense. So
when you treat people poorly, when you murder children, when you slaughter when they when they slaughter kids, when they
bomb hospitals, when they bomb schools, there's no reason to give them preferential treatment. When the West,
like when the Germans say that Israel does our dirty work for us in Iran, why should Iran give the Germans preferential treatment? They have to pay
for their insulence and their insults and their support for death and destruction and murder and genocide. So
I think it's only natural when a country like China hasn't waged war against any country for decades. Whereas the United
States has been carrying out endless wars with the support of its allies and proxies. There's going to be a
difference and that difference will have an impact on their economies and it's going to have an impact on their
presence in our region. But, you know, it's not it's not Iran's fault that the United States and the Europeans behave this way. It's not Iran's fault that
regional regimes have assisted the United States in assaulting and assaulting the country.
Well, now let's get to this historic gathering at the funeral of Ayat Ali Kamini and of there are also I believe
at least 60 other Iranian officials and their family members. We have to remember their family members were also targeted in those horrific uh
decapitation strikes. But the gathering is massive person Marty as you obviously know in your failed attempts to uh spend
much time amongst the crowd. But uh I was I was among the crowd for hours but I just couldn't get to where they're carrying out the prayers.
Yeah, you couldn't get there. Yeah. The estimates are nine million people have attended already. Uh this of course is
only the beginning two hours ago.
Right. Right. Exactly. So there's many more days left. Mainstream media is talking about huge crowds. Trump is shocked by how many people have come. He
said that uh maybe they're fake tears because he didn't know how he didn't know how it could be that Iranians were
so sad that Ayat told Ali Hami was killed because he thought it was the opposite. uh talk about the especially Iran you've mentioned on this show and
other programs Iranians uh having an understandable desire for for revenge the straight of form activity the the
increased power that Iran has on the world stage that in part I could see satisfying uh Iranians who are just
absolutely incensed with the uh war criminal treatment by the US and Israel but uh what's the mood like and uh how
would you characterize uh uh what's going on at this funeral and and its significance.
Well, you know, a lot of people have been have been showing their emotions.
It's very emotional. Lots of lots of people were weeping during the prayers this morning. Even though we and me and
where I was, hundreds of thousands of people couldn't get to the prayers, but you could when they were listening in on the prayers, there was lots of weeping.
And of obviously Trump can't comprehend this because when he finally kicks the bucket, I don't think any of his kids are going to cry for him. So I mean, you
know, these these people have no understanding or comprehension of emotions and true emotions and and you
know, honor and friendship and dignity and morality. So obvious so of course it's it's beyond his his mental
capabilities but also it's it just shows that how US intelligence uh misinforms uh the regime.
I mean someone could they say that Trump does not read intelligence reports fine but the head of the CIA senior
intelligence officials do meet Trump and I'm sure they do give him some idea of what they think about what goes on in
Iran. So if Trump is shocked about the this the massive crowds in Tehran and the emotions of the people that shows
that US intelligence agencies are either lying to Trump or they are trapped in
their own propaganda model and of course it's not just the intelligence agencies we've seen for decades and we've
discussed this many times and and and earlier that media think tanks the so-called experts
experts, those who write books on Iran, they they repeat these narratives, these
fake narratives on Iran. And so almost all the books that you read on Iran in the United States are simply not worth reading or reading newspapers or back
then and websites and uh telegram channels and articles on Iran or going
to think tanks and looking at their material. It's worth it's literally almost worthless. It's probably more
harmful than good uh reading this material because it misleads you. So
whether Trump whether it's the intelligence agencies or the public discourse of the you know the epsene
class through the media the mainstream media through the think tanks and the regime itself the image that their understanding of
Iran has always warped. it's always uh it's it has nothing it has very little
to do with reality. So he would conclude that uh he I
am is disliked by the people because that's what you're supposed to conclude
when you watch CNN or Fox News. It doesn't matter. When you watch the BBC or Sky News, there's no difference. When
you read the New York Times or Breitbart, again, it doesn't matter. One may be more sophisticated, more subtle, the other may be more
bombastic, but they're basically all the same. And again, it's because they all belong to the same class. But the problem is is that it doesn't matter if
they hate Iran or they they misread Iran. The problem is that when they go and
and uh devise policies and then implement those policies and hit a brick
wall that has serious repercussions that has implications. It's like the war
itself. It costs probably directly and indirectly trillions of dollars.
I mean because it's still ongoing.
But uh that's that's that's that is the result of their misreading of Iran. So their
their their propaganda model, their narratives on Iran, you know, at one level they just they just create a false
uh understanding of Iran. But at a m much more important level, it it it is actually very costly for the American
people and for the Iranians because then they go and murder Iranian children and Iranian citizens in the hope that they can overthrow the state and and then we
see the the scenes in that we saw today in response.
Yeah. Yeah. Great points uh professor Randi. Now, uh, I wanted to pull this up. Uh, it's from Drop Site News,
by the way. Uh, Danny is I mean, I'm trying to speak loud because of the background noise. I hope it's Yeah. No, I think it's going well. I
think it's going well in chat. You can help uh assure Professor Moran that it's going well because I think I think we can all hear you. I haven't heard anything or I've been able to hear and I
haven't seen anything either. So, uh, I wanted to just pull up something from Drop Site News that has the full extent
of Donald Trump's reactions to the funeral. He said he was surprised so many Iranians were crying because he thought people hated Ayatollah Ali said,
"Maybe it's fake tears." But he also said this and another violation of theou. Uh, they are all there. One shot and we can take them all out, but we
aren't going to do that because then we have nobody to negotiate with. And here are some of the scenes that came out from the early hours of the public
gathering um of Iranians because I know the first day was uh mainly officials which I also want your comment on because there was a Saudi delegation.
Some speculated they weren't invited but they came uh based on their own I guess you could say goodwill. Uh the UAE did
not attend. They held their own July 4th ceremony which I guess shows a lot there. But um a very uh I guess there's
a lot of also politics surrounding the funeral and I'm wondering if you could comment on first Trump violating theou
by making these threats. You uh earlier there were reports about something that you talked about on this show the the threats of a decapitation strike during
negotiations which almost happened at Islamabad which you were a part of. I mean there's a whole thread here.
Professor Mirandi uh help us uh unwind it a bit. Well, there there are a number of things. One is that this just shows how monstrous the the regime is, the the
the US regime, and because Trump is threatening to murder Iranian leaders and thousands of Iranians simultaneously
by bombing the funeral. But what is even more monstrous is that American media, Western media, uh, European MPs,
parliamentarians, governments, they show absolutely no reaction at all, you know, to to the threat of mslaughter. No,
since the leaders are there, let's just fire missiles and kill thousands of people so we could take out a few people. This is I mean, this is how evil
thing this is how evil the political class is in the United States. And when one thinks about it, it's just it's quite stunning. They they they're
25 minutestalking about the sort of things that the Israeli regime does on a daily basis, but it just shows how normal it has become for them. Not even the the
polit the fake political correctness of the past is even um is even considered anymore. So that's one thing.
It says much it says more about the political establishment across western countries than it says about Trump himself.
Uh with regards to um the threats that he's made in the past, you you saw the New York Times and and
the Washington Post claim that the United States informed the Iranians that the Israelis want to carry on a strike.
That is absolutely false. I was on that plane.
uh we were when we went from to Islamabad it was around that time I don't recall when exactly that the
Washington Post put out an article uh put a put an opinion piece saying that
they should murder the u Iranian negotiators and uh and we all saw that when we were
in Islamabad and on the other hand the Islamabad talks failed right we saw Vance were constantly on
the phone. The Iranians were negotiating but his uh his minders Witoff and Kushner were sitting there and had to
call Netanyahu and others to and ultimately nothing happened. So when they walked away, the Iranians
themselves said that we have to devise a way to protect the the delegation and they
changed the plane and they I I don't want to go into great detail but they changed the plane and the Pakistani air
force jets accompanied the delegate the plane to the border and then they landed
near the um in Mashad which is I think We discussed this once before in your show. Near the border with Afghanistan
and Turkmanistan to the northeast of Iran. Why? Because it's far away from Israel. The Israeli regime doesn't have the ability to bomb Iran.
Whenever they carry out these air strikes, it's because American planes refuel their jets. Planes that take off
from Katad or Saudi Arabia or Jordan, they refuel them so they can come. But Mashad is is even further away. So if
the Americans and the Israelis wanted to strike, they'd have to go very deep into Iran. It was more difficult. So they
when they entered Iranian airspace, they swiftly shifted direction, went towards Mashad and quickly landed and we quickly
left the plane and we returned to Tehran by land. There was no intelligence from the United States given to the Iranians
directly or indirectly at all. And uh this was just an Iranian uh
measure it taken to protect the de and to the credit of everyone who was on the plane on the delegation when we're in
Pakistan not a single person said they want to stay behind say for a couple of extra days come by land take a different
flight whatever we had young women as well journalists with us they they boarded the plane just like the rest of
us. So we all returned on the flight despite the threats. And of course we know that the Washington Post is closely
affiliated to the CIA. So when you have an opinion piece in the Washington Post, you take it seriously.
Then of course Trump has he's been threatening Iranian negotiators since then as well when during the re the recent negotiations in Europe, he
threatened the negotiators. He said they'll never get back to Iran. He threatened the president. He threatened again to wipe out Iran and of course met
with complete indifference in Western media, Western capitals and Western parliaments just
like this latest threat again where he said we Oh, Professor Rodney, it looks like we
might have lost you for a second. Uh, in any event, uh, I'll just wait until you're able to come back. I didn't do it.
Okay. Am I back?
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Please continue on your last thought. Yes. Is the quality okay? Yep. You're back.

Uh so yeah. So he he he he again he made these threats and uh today or or the
threats that you read, I don't know if they were today or yesterday. I think they were yesterday. But um that he could take at them all. could kill them
all and kill thousands of people, maybe tens of thousands of people in the process, which is all fine, but the problem is that there will be no
30 minutesnegotiators. So, this is the mentality that we're dealing with in the West.
Genocidal, openly genocidal, and no protests. You don't see any Greek parliamentarians putting out statements condemning Trump.
You don't see any uh Norwegian pol parliamentarians making statements about, you know, how Trump is what he
says is outrageous. You don't see the French parliament or the German, you know, none of them say anything. The New
Zealand, Australia, Canada, they're all, you know, it's fine. It's fine. You know, threatening
to massacre Iranians is fine. But Iranians know about these threats, yet they still come to the streets.
Yeah.
They know that there's a threat of air strikes on the on the funeral procession because they talk about it on in social
media, but people come come and they they defy the threats. And of course that a lot a lot of it has to do with Iran's religious culture. We've
discussed this before. The the Shia culture in particular gives a you know there's a certain resilience. there's a
certain you know inner strength that comes from and I think Alistister Crook's book uh resistance gives a an
idea of this and also perhaps I think also in going to tan if people read it helps them have a better understanding.
So there is this sense of defiance that is created you know that exists among Iranians and the Lebanese and which is which is quite unique.
Yeah. Yeah. It definitely unique. I mean, Iranians have been doing this since the beginning of the war. Uh they
rallied every single day uh in the thousands upon thousands, millions, uh every day, uh uh cheering on their
forces, uh defending themselves, and of course, uh condemning the United States and Israel. So, I wanted to pull up actually uh just a few there's there's a
there's definitely a a psychological operation. Uh we usually almost always in the second half of our programs together President Randi always end up
talking about these psychological operations. Here's one that you reposted um by Reuters uh talking about how Iran
is mobilizing millions to mourn right now. But when Ayati Alahime Ali Ham's death was announced, residents were
reported cheering from behind windows across Tran. The funeral starts day. So this was a little promo for their
coverage of the funeral which was of course absolutely unreadable and uh not worth the salt but any salt. But pres
your reactions to this. This is this is how all Iran and any country targeted by the United States for war. This is how
their uh mainstream media um uh handlers uh their mouthpieces always frame things, right? They're forced the
millions are forced to go. They're being mobilized to go out there. mobilize feelings like how do you how do you mobilize them? How do you count them?
How do you like do do they come to the streets and give their names to the local boss and oh yeah I mean how does
it work like in a city like Terron a mega city and you know where we had just you know you have to find a way just to
get to the place to the to the to the ceremony and get through all the traffic and so like how does that work? How are
we mobilized? And then like how do they when we when we come like we're in among millions of other people, how do they find us? How do they know we're here?
How do they know? And then how do they and if we're it's like it's just completely ridiculous. And then and then
all these people, they're like cheering his death behind closed windows. How how do you know that? So how does that how
do you what does that mean? Superior.
It just shows that the Western media is fake. It's propaganda.
It's worse in many ways in my opinion than the worst of the Soviet Union because it tries to present this aura
of, you know, independence. It's not independent. They're all owned by oligarchs, but you know, it's not government. It's privately owned. So
somehow that makes a difference. But they're all they're all the same. I always tell people never follow, you
know, Reuters or the BBC or CNN or any of these outlets. I I don't follow any of them. Uh I, you know, I get my
information from people who I follow, reliable media outlets, reliable journalists, and uh
you know, the people who I follow on Twitter, I mean, there are lots of people I don't follow, but it's just because I I'm not a Twitter person. And
I don't remember to follow people who I mean there are lots of people who I'm not following who are absolutely
excellent but I'm just not a Twitter person. So I apologize to many people I'm not following but the people I follow for the most part they're very good.
Well the other thing for Rodi uh how insulting it is and this is also the the background to it of these incredible
smears and scops. It's the idea that Iranians while they're getting bombed by you because these strikes as we know
from the Manab school massacre of over 168 children 180 some estates uh uh as
we know from that alone but of course throughout the war uh these strikes that occurred against the uh the supreme
leader and uh top prominent Iranian officials uh mainly targeted civilians and it targeted their families and But
it also targeted the civilian population. So the idea that as bombs are coming off, Iranians are behind their windows cheering for this is
insulting. Especially now, and it's almost a joke now that uh it's quite clear from the millions upon millions on on the streets gathering in this funeral
to the actual strategic and political situation that exists in the war, uh Iranian support for their government and
their current leadership is higher than it was. So the idea that these strikes were any were anything that were being
celebrated for uh what they did is um is almost insulting to uh humanity itself.
But your reaction to this? Well, fortunately, there are quite a few of our mutual friends here in Iran uh who
are covering the uh uh the funeral and they see that, you know, they can see
for themselves no one is mobilized. In fact, since it's a holiday, uh people can leave Thran and go on vacation to
the north to the seaside. They can go and uh to the forests and the mountains in the north of Iran, to the northwest
37 minutesof Iran, to the west, they can go and have do whatever they sit at home. In fact, those who go to this funeral, it's very difficult. We're at the height of
summer, it's like 35, I think today was 35, 36° and then you have to get to the funeral,
which is not easy at all. I mean, as I said, I started off almost three hours uh before the funeral, maybe three
hours, but I think maybe a bit less. Not quite sure. And I I couldn't make it to the to the to the prayer. And I was
stuck in this huge huge crowd. And you know, no matter where you look, they were just ocean of people. And they all
were like me. they couldn't get to the so when you look at the footage that they the helicopter footage or the drone
footage or or the the cameras that they they're not even showing those areas where we are at because we're not even near the we're not even near the place where the prayers are being carried out.
o u you know I'm really glad that they invited a lot of people or a lot of people came on their own. Some of them,
as I said, friends of your show and friends of your own personal friends, you can invite them on and they can tell
them what they saw. Western media is never going to tell the truth because Reuters is own, you know, Fox News is is
controlled. They're it's all it's not going to go against the political the ruling class in the West.
It never did. That's why we're in the position we are today. If the if Western media had any credibility whatsoever, if
the BBC, Sky News, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, if they had any any credibility whatsoever, we would have we wouldn't
have had the war in the first place. But it's through years of fake narratives of Iran that they came to the conclusion
that if they attacked Iran, it would it would fall like a house of cards.
And even though last year they tried this and it failed again this year they thought well maybe if we bring in everything we have then it will fall
like a house of cards in in a couple of days and of course we are where we are.
Yes we are. Well, uh, now, uh, to some other news, Professor Randi, the, uh, Barack Ravid is, uh, once again, it
seems like every weekend there's a new report on the Israeli US relationship.
Right now, according to Axios, President Donald Trump of the United States told Netanyahu that or or told him that
Netanyahu knows who the boss is ahead of a possible visit. uh to the White House this week by Netanyahu and then
Netanyahu has responded saying that uh he pushes back on JD Vance's claim that the US is the last country that still
supports Israel. Claims he's getting a lot of support from India on his Facebook page. He claimed Trump is sees
eye to eye with him 99% of the time and sometimes there are disagreements like any relationship. He didn't push back on the remark and he blames the shift in
public perception especially among the young Republicans to social media narratives that are being promoted by foreign countries. I wonder which
foreign countries you might be talking about probably uh Iran because that's the uh you know that's the fashionable these days and has always been for the Israelis. Uh your thoughts on this?
there's always seems to be another I call these psychological operations uh on the USIsraeli rift. What do you make of it? Why now?
Well, it's it's difficult to say. I I'm of the belief contrary to some of our
friends and perhaps friends of your show that there are differences not between so much so between the Israeli regime in
the United States but between Trump and Netanyahu and perhaps between Netanyahu and many uh Israeli firsters in the
United States. I think that these this rift exists. I think that the reason is that Netanyahu over the last I mean
since October the 7th which you know we're it's close to 3 years now um for
the the last 3 years let's say he's been destroying Israel he's through through war after war he's he's destroying the
regime the regime is despised across the world I mean look at the uh Democratic parties primary elections in New York in
neighborhoods to which very large Jewish populations. The support for the regime is collapsed, which shows by the way
that young Jews and I'm sure older Jews too, but predominantly younger Jews uh that shows their intellectual integrity
because of course the United States is the most propagandized uh country in the world. I mean the people in the United States are the most
propagandized uh people in the world. But the young Jews are not only propagandized like everyone else, but they're propagandized
by the the Zionists in their own community. Very very powerful people. So despite this two layers of propaganda, they've turned against Zionism.
This is this is destructive for the regime.
Americans are turning against it. Even in India, uh there is a there I've been told by
many Indians that uh there's been a lot of sympathy for Iran during this war and actually a lot of u hostility towards
Trump for a number of reasons. It's not uh and what the Israeli regime has been doing in Gaza has has shifted
perceptions in much of Indian society. I don't know poll numbers but there I'm told that things have changed. Now to
what degree I can't say but uh but Trump but Netanyahu is destroying the regime and the world sees that there are
economic difficulties that have arisen as a result of the war. It's Netanyahu's doing. It's the Israeli regime's doing.
So he's destroying the regime. He's he's of course preserving uh he he's been able to remain in power uh because of
all the wars and the crises that he's created. But uh so it's worked for him.
He stayed he's staying out of jail for now he and his wife. But this is catastrophic for the Israeli regime and
support for is collap has collapsed everywhere. So uh I do believe that there is this rift and I I am of the
belief that many Zionists probably if they're sane genocidal but sane that they would want Netanyahu out
because uh he's uh he's u he's horrible
you know he he he's how can I say not bad publicity but his his name itself
brings about a sense of hatred everywhere. So if I was a Zionist, I would like it removed, put someone else in his place. Uh try to,
you know, give that person a more human uh make him look human if you can make his
look human. uh you know perhaps do an interview with him with his cat or something and then uh blame everything
on Netanyahu and then say well that was Netanyahu and all the problems of the past were because of him and this new
prime minister who's all of the senior figures in Israeli politics are genocidal and they are very openly
genocidal but you know maybe they could um you have a term for it in English uh maybe they could I don't know sell him
as someone more pleasant. If I was a Zionist, that's what I would do. So, I do think
probably that these divisions exist for two reasons. One, because US interests are in conflict with Israeli regime
interests, the global the economic uh crisis, the energy crisis.
uh it's forcing elites in the United States to choose their own interests over Israeli interests or at least to to
uh to think about the need to make that decision. And the other is that again for the you know Zionists perhap would
want to prevent the total collapse of their image across the world and getting rid of Netanyahu may help to deceive the utterly naive.
Yeah. Well, if there's any uh entity political entity in the world right now that needs to be whitewashed, it's
Israel. They Yeah. I don't know how they can accomplish such a thing but uh I guess the the the desperation the
desperation is definitely there for that. Um yes we have a question from the audience first of uh uh from Selma
asking what do you see happening post war now that Iran sees that many are on their side uh FM the foreign minister
Abasarachi has internet aura there's love for the Iranian soccer team do you see Iran opening up more or that there'll be any internal changes uh
because of this uh shift for what any internal changes I don't know what that's referring to but your thoughts
Well, Iran has always been a very dynamic country contrary to what you know we hear of in the west. We have regular elections. We have very we have
many differences in the country that are expressed very openly even over the MLOU there's a huge debate going on in Iran
and uh when I'm yesterday today when I was on the streets a lot of people would approach me falsely thinking that some
of them that I'm like among the I'm a negotiator I have nothing to do with the negotiating team I don't support any
political faction in Iran or any political party I sometimes agree with A sometimes with me I actually those who
are so sometimes so over the last few days a lot of people have approached me to talk about theou many of them
supported uh many of them are um are worried about about it and a couple were
very hostile towards it and uh they're pretty hostile towards me thinking that I had something to do with it but um but
on the whole uh so you have these very uh you know, you always have robust uh
debates going on on campus, in the media, on the streets. I mean, Iranians are uh are very uh
um what would be the word? Um they're very they interact very easily. If you get on a bus and speak to the person
next to you, he'll he or she will probably speak with you. If you get on a a metro and you you know they'll someone
may start speaking with you or in a taxi the driver, you know, they'll start speaking. That's that's part of Iranian
culture which I like. Um but uh and you always see that people are grumbling or angry or criticizing.
So and we have different we've had different governments. the the the policies of the current president are
not the same as Dr. Rei. I mean there's a lot of overlap obviously but there there are significant differences and
the the government before president the the martyr of President Rei the former president the late president was very
different from his government. So uh you have all these debates going on in Iran.
It's a very dynamic country and obviously it will continue to evolve and the more confident the country becomes I
think hopefully in the months and years ahead because of this victory in this war this this funeral itself as a show
of strength and power. I think the more confident it becomes, the more I think it will be able to um
to evolve in a positive way to to be more confident about uh its position in the world. But uh I mean if you wish to
visit Iran, I think you would probably find it to be a very enjoyable place to be in.
I I I cannot think of another country that I'd like to live in. I mean, if I wasn't in Iran, I'd like to be in
50 minutesLebanon or in Yemen or somewhere like that because of my world view, but uh but I, you know, I I like very much.
Uh do you view that, uh Netanyahu, a lot of people are speculating that he's going to come to the White House and
attempt to convince Donald Trump to go back to war. Uh, do you think that's what's going to happen? And, uh, is
there any possibility of that succeeding? Uh, we have no words coming out of Pete Hexet's mouth right now, which is actually quite shocking given
that he he almost seems to be he almost seems to run uh, some of the social media accounts of uh, of of the White
House. But, uh, your thoughts on this? A lot of people are are saying that it it could be that every time Netanyahu meets with Trump, something bad happens.
Well, Iran has been preparing itself for war since the ceasefire. And since the MOU uh when they signed, the Iranians
were able to export a large number of uh tankers, send a lot of a large number of tankers to their markets in Asia as
we've discussed before. And they are buying supplies. is they are uh expanding um their underground missile
bases, drone bases, their production of newer and more advanced missiles and drones, replacing the thousands of
destroyed um um decoys uh that the Americans and the
Israelis foolishly bombed. And um you know, they they are they're preparing themselves for war. That's they're doing
it very swiftly. And uh as as we've discussed before, Iran is more prepared for war today than it was 4 months ago.
Significantly more prepared. So I think that the chance for for further conflict is not low. I would never bet it I mean
not betting man, but I would never bet against war. I mean the Zionists want war. They're desperate for war. And the
Zionist lobby in the United States hasn't changed in nature. So I think that the chance for war is is is not low.
It would be disastrous for the United States. It would be far worse than this war. They will not win against Iran. But uh the global economy which is in bad
shape would would collapse. I mean it's not it will take a very very long time for the shortages that are now that now
exists across the world to uh to be um to be dealt with and to to to bring those shortages to an end.
uh war with Iran would just uh make things go downhill very fast. The global economy is not doing well. The shortages
are there. The shortages are growing. I mean when it comes to um oil, crude oil,
uh significant quantities are being exported from the Persian Gulf. Not as much when you even even if you include
Fuja and the Red Sea, not as much as before the war. But the other um the the
other products are are not being exported in large quantities.
Fertilizers, helium, and all the other petrochemical goods. And this is going to have a huge impact on the global economy. So if there's war, it's going
to be disastrous for the United States and the world. But it's possible because that's what the Israeli regime wants.
That's what Netanyahu wants. That's what the Zionists want. And you can never rule out this sort of thing. And with the way in which the Americans are
behaving with regards to theou you know violations as wherever wherever possible and of course as I said the
Iranians reacting in by not implementing the deal their own way
everything you know you shouldn't expect things to get better and then finally uh maybe
54 minutesI'm not saying there will be war because if if there are sane people in the white house uh they will say this is not the
way to go and Israel on its own cannot wage a war against Iran they'll be defeated very easily uh unless the Americans get involved they'll still be
defeated but as I said earlier they need US weapons they need US ammunition they need US support and they need US planes
to refuel their jets otherwise they can't bomb Iran yeah and uh perhaps lastly for your
comment on uh the state of uh the region more broadly outside of uh Israel and
and uh US aggression. You know, at the funeral so far, uh you had the UAE skipping out. They they of course were
not invited, I don't believe. Uh but nonetheless, they had a July 4th uh celebration flyover uh using some of
those US Navy Blue Angels flying over their sky. And then you had uh uh Saudi Arabia. They had a delegation that did
go to Iran and did participate in the uh ceremony uh that was dedicated I think
to to officials. Um or or resigned for officials. uh what's your thoughts on um
uh this kind of participation and the the regional situation overall as you know there's some reports that Saudi
Arabia and Yemen they might be getting into a renewed war uh of course there's been talks about the situation in Iraq
um you know uh your your thoughts on the state of the region overall given these developments
well you know you you you bas basically pointed out why it's very difficult to say anything conclusively. Uh the
Iranians have broken the siege on Yemen which is a big thing. Two Iranian planes if I'm not mistaken have landed in San airport in Yemen, the capital of Yemen
and the Saudis apparently the first plane the Saudis tried to block it from landing and but the Yemeni air defenses
forced the Saudi jets to leave and the Iranian plane landed. So these two planes are landing are very important.
It shows that things are changing. But then the very fact that the Sonis were trying to harass an Iranian passenger plane is not a good sign itself. And so
on the one hand the Saudis send a delegation to Tehran. People in Tehran uh you know
they know that the Saudis everyone knows that the Saudis helped kill lots of Iranians and that all these regimes were
involved. But the fact that they came uh shows that on the one hand that the Saudis want to change the nature of the relationship but then in Yemen we see
them behaving in that manner. So it's very difficult to say where things will go and uh ultimately Trump and Netanyahu
they will do whatever they can to increase tensions. In fact, um, in
in one of the meetings that the Iranians had with the Emiratis, the Emiratis themselves were saying that the Israelis
are doing whatever they can to wreck the relationship between Iran and the UAE.
But the irony is that while they say that themselves to the Iranians, they continue to remain allies of the Israeli regime. This is, you know, there there's
so many paradoxes in the Arabian Peninsula. There's so many contradictory
uh actions and statements and uh behavior and then you have the Americans
and the Israelis. It's very difficult to say what will happen down the road. But there's no doubt that the Israeli regime is on the decline. The empire is on the
decline and the resistance Iran is on the rise. No matter how you look at it, that's that's what's happened and what
will continue to happen. It will be there will be confrontation and conflict and intimidation by the empire in the
months ahead and years ahead. And the genocide in Gaza will continue. They're killing people every single day. They've killed people today and yesterday. And
of course they'll if they can they'll they'll start killing more people in Lebanon. And of course, you know,
Netanyahu's hands are somewhat tied in in Lebanon. But uh they'll they'll do these things that they can. So we shouldn't be uh naive about the future.
The future the empire is not dead. It is dying. But it is a wounded animal that is very dangerous and vicious.

On the fourth day of the funeral for Iran’s slain Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, millions of Iranians braved the blazing sun to follow Khamenei’s coffin to Azadi Square in central Tehran.

Along the way, the mourners heaped scorn and defiance upon Trump, Netanyahu and the Shah’s complicit son, Reza Pahlavi.

Dimitri Lascaris spent the morning walking among the mourners. He then observed the gigantic throng from a rooftop on the campus of Sharif University. During the Ramadan War, the United States and Israel bombed the university.

Good morning. This is Demetri Lceris coming to you from Tan, the capital of Iran, on the morning of July 6, 2026.
for a reason to resist. It's approximately 5:00 a.m. and our entourage of foreign journalists is
departing the hotel where we're staying together in order to observe the funeral procession of the slain supreme leader
of Iran, Imam Ali Khamei. The funeral program consists of seven days of
ceremonies. This is the fourth day and the first day on which the supreme leader's coffin and the coffins of the
family members who were slain with him are going to be uh carried through the
streets of Iran or born a loft uh a lori through the streets of Iran with what is expected to to be millions of mourers uh in uh following the uh the procession.
So, uh, I'm going to have a lot to say today, uh, for reasons I'll get into later about the political significance of this event and why this is such an
important event to cover journalistically, particularly for a western audience. Uh, but for the time
being, I'm late to get on the bus. Uh, and uh, we need to assemble quickly at one of the sites that have been reserved
for the international media along the route of the procession. I'll be reporting back to you later.

leader along with those of his family members who were killed with him. The procession will be beginning from this
point and traveling for I understand uh 10 to 20 kilometers through main
thoroughares in the heart of Dan. Uh so although it has not yet begun, there is an absolutely massive throng all around
me on all sides. And I'm going to show you in a moment uh what I can see from my vantage point. And I'll also show you
uh the coffins which are visible through the glass panels of the truck.

I've now been at top this roof on the campus of Sharif University for about . The
vast sea of Iranians has continued its flow uh in the direction to my right.
The truck bearing the coffin of the Supreme Leader and his slain family members is no longer visible from here,
which probably means that it's moved at least several hundred meters up the avenue. Uh, and despite
having gone by and the truck bearing the coffin having moved several hundred meters off to the distance, there's still as far as the eye can see all the
way down this wide boulevard mourers shoulderto-shoulder. It's it's not just the length of this uh
procession, it's the density of this procession. I was down there and you saw how closely
packed all the people are together. Uh it's for sure over 30° C now. If it wasn't for all of this water being
sprayed on the mourners, uh I'm sure many of them, especially uh the women dressed uh in black robes, uh would have
uh fainted by now. But they're, despite the heat, remaining there and shouting their defiance. And I cannot stress
enough that this is so much more than a funeral. And I think that the Iranian people are perfectly conscious of this
more so than any of us. This is also an act of deterrence. Why do I say that?
Because the whole premise on which this insane war was launched, this criminal war was launched, is that all they had
to do was kill the supreme leader. uh a bevy of other senior officials from the Islamic Republic and the military of the
Islamic Republic uh commence an intense bombardment campaign and then within a matter of a couple of weeks the so-called regime
would fall and at long last the the state of Iran would be in the hands
of the western elite just as it was when they installed the Shaw and overthrew the democratically elected Muhammad
Mosed in the 1950s. is because he had the timmerity to say and to mean it that
the natural resources of this country should be used for the benefit of his people. That's what the narrative was.
That's what the expectation was. And if after all of the suffering they have inflicted on Iran since the Islamic
Revolution, not just the according to JD Vance one trillion dollars of damage they supposedly did to Iran's industrial
29 minutesbase during the Ramadan war, but also the decades of sanctions, the cyber warfare, the assassinations of nuclear
scientists and on and on theformational warfare, the legal warfare and the United Nations at the Security Council.
Despite all of that, if this is what the world beholds, the powerful message being sent to the
west and all the enemies of Iran is that this people will not be defeated and they will stand by their nation to the bitter end. And that means it becomes
extraordinarily difficult and it already is quite difficult given the polling in the west for the aggressors to justify
any further investment of uh human or military or economic resources in trying
to destabilize this government. And it is in particular difficult to justify risking the stability of the global
economy in order to continue this project of regime change and ultimately the destruction of Iran sovereignty and
its ability to protect itself. So yes, this is very much an act of deterrence, defiance, resistance in addition to
being first and foremost an act of warning. Heat.

It is now almost 2:30 local time and the temperature has risen to 35° C.
And as you can see, I am facing towards Aadi Square where this procession uh terminates and uh it's I think a couple
of kilometers up ahead and that is where I understand the coffin of the supreme leader is currently situated. As you can
see by looking behind me, there's still masses of uh mourners walking towards Aadi Square.
So this has been going on for 5 to approximately. Uh, of course it's impossible to give an accurate count or
anything reasonably approximating uh an accurate count of the participants in this, but I think I can say with a
lot of confidence that the numbers in the minions and uh that's just what I've seen thus far. I don't see any end in
sight behind me to this uh river of humanity that continues to flow in the direction of Aati Square.
So, I'm going to be heading back uh to the hotel probably now where I will uh have a few uh final reflections on today's events.
We're now back at the hotel after spending about uh seven or eight hours today in the blazing sun uh recording,
observing, and uh commenting upon the extraordinary funeral procession uh for
the slain supreme leader. And uh that was unquestionably uh the largest gathering of human beings
I've ever witnessed in my life by a wide margin. Whether or not it's the largest funeral in human history, as many have
claimed, I can't say, but I certainly believe it is a candidate, a legitimate candidate for that distinction. Uh what
I wanted to conclude my report with was a commentary on just a brief commentary on uh the Western media coverage of
today's events. I checked three major western newspapers uh the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Guardian. Let's start with the Guardian.
The Guardian published an article which it is conspicuously displaying on its website this evening. It is entitled
Millions Join Funeral Procession for Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Kamini. Notice that the headline or the title does not
make reference to threats of violence against Trump. I'll come back to that in a moment. The article was authored by the Guardians diplomatic editor Patrick
Winur uh who I think can be fairly described as a neocon albeit one with a
liberal uh patina and I'll just quote two uh excerpts from his article. One is
the following. The scale and depth of the march, however engineered, don't know what he means by that, uh,
represents an extraordinary turnaround for a country that only seven months ago was gripped by street protests at which thousands of people were killed by
government security forces. Many will say the assembly was a monument to a misconceived war launched on Iran by
Donald Trump in February. Well, uh, as I'm going to discuss in a report tomorrow in much more detail, there is
in fact very little credible evidence that the thousands of people whom the government acknowledged were killed in
the January uh, riots. Uh there were protests and they were peaceful, but there were also riots which were
hijacked by armed hooligans who were not uh apparently interested in any kind of
peaceful protest. And it's quite unclear as to who killed whom. The government's position is that it was in fact the
rioters who killed uh the unarmed protesters. And not all of the people who were killed were unarmed protesters.
A significant number of them. I think uh several hundred were police officers according to the government and there's a lot of video footage to back this up.
Uh and uh there were rioters themselves.
They weren't unarmed protesters who were killed. Uh but uh exactly who killed the unarmed protesters is a matter of some
uh debate and uh the Iranian government position which it has documented uh with
video and photographic uh evidence is that uh it was not the security forces who killed them. In any case, uh the
Guardian is adopting as fact uh the anti-government narrative uh rather than
acknowledge that there is a disagreement. It doesn't even state uh in this paragraph or anywhere in the article. Uh Winur doesn't acknowledge
that the uh the Iranian government disputes this account. He just asserts it as though it has been uh demonstrably
uh established. Now, uh the other thing is at least this paragraph that I just read does acknowledge that the massive
funeral uh and uh not just today's turnout but the turnout on the subsequent the prior two days which we've covered extensively poses a
serious problem uh for those who maintain that this government uh enjoys little to no popular support and should be overthrown.
Uh now another uh passage I want to quote from you uh for you from this article is the following. In a feat of
organization by state authorities in the volunteer civic army that fed and housed the mourers, no one was killed unlike at
the previous state- linked funerals that rapidly descended into chaos, including that of the previous Supreme Leader.
Well, I don't know the facts of the prior funerals, which the Guardian says descended into chaos. I do know from a
friend of mine that there have been uh significant problems in past gatherings of comparable size. Um but uh whatever
the past uh record of the government may have been when it comes to uh enormous assemblies of citizens, it is remarkable
in my view uh that millions of people in these conditions participated uh in this uh historic event and not a
single one was killed. Just the heat alone uh was enough I think to fell uh a vulnerable uh individual and there were
a lot a lot of there were many young people out there but there were a lot of elderly people as well. Now they refer here or Patrick Winur refers here to a
volunteer civic army. I'm pretty sure what he's referring to there is the uh bas which is spelled B A SIG. Uh it has
been linked uh to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It is often characterized by the Western media and Western governments as a brutal militia.
And uh I in fact at the MSA mosque when I interviewed uh people yesterday about why they were mourning the passing of
38 minutesthe supreme leader and uh participating in the funeral. I interviewed uh a member of the bas
on our YouTube channel. As I say it was published yesterday. In any case, it's interesting that while acknowledging the
good work that they did today, the bas says uh that uh this is a volunteer civic army that fed and housed the
mourers and that no one was killed. Um they don't name uh he doesn't name the
volunteer civic army. So I think that because uh you know the r the reason for that is doing so would of course uh
raise a problem for the uh western narrative about the bases.
Now uh there is no suggestion here other than that phrase in the first passage that I quoted uh Patrick Winur's use of
the term uh however engineered uh which suggests that there may have been some kind of manipulation or fakery here. He
hasn't explicitly alleged that. However, Donald Trump did in an article an interview with Axios a couple of days ago where he expressed surprise at the
size of the turnout and said maybe uh the uh mourner's grief are fake tears.
Uh well, I don't know how you could establish that the tears are fake uh anything short of these people coming out and saying, "Yeah, I faked them."
But I can tell you from my own personal experience of uh you know the this enormous number of uh mourers with whom
I interacted uh uh you know I I saw absolutely no indication uh that uh
their emotions were insincere and many of them were uh reduced to tears uh both at the Masala mosque and today at the
funeral procession. So then quickly we'll turn to the New York Times. I searched the New York Times website and I couldn't find any report about today's
funeral procession at all. Uh if if it's there, it certainly is inconspicuous, which is interesting. Why doesn't the
New York Times want to report that uh as the Guardian acknowledged, millions of people uh turned out for this funeral
just today alone. uh you know if we add the others uh you know the people who turned out at some point or another on
the first two days of this funeral when uh the body of the supreme leader was lying in state at the massive Msala mosque you know you could be well above
10 million people and there's still 3 days left to this funeral now uh finally I'll turn to the
Washington Post they did publish an article it's the top article in the international section the title is crowd proud chance death to America as Kamini
casket winds through Tan. So you can see that they're highlighting uh the threats to Trump which uh uh you know some of
which were shown in the videos that I just shared with you. Um let's bear in mind however uh that no US politician
has ever been assassinated or even wounded uh by uh an Iranian uh attack.
uh there's certainly no credible evidence to that effect. Whereas the United States has mass murdered uh people in leadership positions within
the Iranian government and military. So if anybody should be concerned about threats to their leadership, it should be the Iranian people. Clearly no sane
person would think based upon historical experience uh that the US government is the one that should be primarily
concerned here. Uh and I just want to note in passing today Mario Nal on whose program I have uh appeared from time to
time, you know, Mario uh seems well-intentioned a lot of the time, but he seems also to want to straddle both sides of the fence. And he put out a
tweet today referring to these banners expressing threats towards Trump. and uh he said if you want to know why the
42 minutesUnited States and Israel consider uh you know Iran to be a threat you have only to look at these uh you know chance
death to America and death to Israel many of which we we've heard on all three days here uh again however who has
actually been killed by the adversary it is the leaders of Iran who have actually been killed many of them by these two
genocidal adversaries uh whereas the leaders of Israel and uh the leadership of Israel and the United States have suffered no casualties at
the hands of Iranians. Um now this article does describe the funeral procession as huge and massive but the
reporter makes no effort to quantify the number of protesters. certainly doesn't say anything about millions having participated. And unlike the Guardian,
which at least commented on the challenges the turnout poses for the war making narrative of the Trump regime, uh
this article, the Washington Post article simply ignores that issue altogether.
So that's my roundup of today's Western corporate media reporting on this uh amazingly uh large and uh passionate
event. marked by both uh grief and indignation.
Uh before I sign off, I'll just let you know what we're planning to do from here. Uh tomorrow, I'll be participating
in the morning with a uh in a panel discussion that includes Professor Muhammad Mandi who's appeared on uh our
program numerous times and who is ubiquitous in the alternative media, always uh putting forward uh an eloquent

departing by train for Mashad. This is the uh holy city here in Iran. It is the
birthplace of uh the slain supreme leader. Uh I believe the train ride is going to take many hours somewhere
between 7 8 or . I I'm not sure but it's not a short train ride. And then we will be in Mashad for three days

US President Donald Trump has warned that he may resume military strikes against Iran if the Islamic Republic refuses to sign a peace deal to his liking. Iran has not yet responded to his threats, as the Iranian leadership is currently occupied with the funeral services for late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Rifat Jawaid brings you the day's big developments with his sharp commentary.

The deranged occupant of the White House has warned that he could resume military strikes against Iran if the Islamic
Republic doesn't agree to a peace deal to his liking.
The genocide loving US president has also defended his thug by publicly flaunting his role in armwisting corrupt
FIFA to disgrace the game of football by revoking the one match suspension of an American footballer. The FIFA has
rejected Belgium's appeal, causing global outcry. A banner has gone on display in Turkey ahead of Trump's
visit, asking parents to hide their children as a friend of convicted pro-Israeli pedophile Jeffrey Epstein
arrives in their country. Millions of Iranians have braved the heat to take part in Ayatah Ali Kam's funeral with
the crowd stretching over a distance of 20 kilometers.
Hamas has dissolved its governing body in Gaza for the first time since 2007.
This will be the broad focus of my video tonight. So, the Israeli slave from the White House has now returned to his old
tricks, threatening Iran with more deadly strikes amidst ongoing negotiations for a peace deal. He's the
same guy who recently signed a surrender document with Iran, also known as theou and flaunted it as victory. Today, even
while issuing this fake threat, this delusional fool held the opening of the state of Hormuz as another victory. the
same state of Hormuz which was open to free passage of ships before he attacked Iran on 28th of February to please his
Israeli master. On average of 10 but sometimes less sometimes more three weeks ago we had a night 22 ships came
out of the straight and the famous trait of hormones nobody ever heard of but
it's some it is a that is some big money machine. And I'll tell you what, when you look at the numbers, Michael, that makes everything look small. No, wait,
wait, wait. And we took out so much oil that people didn't know. And it was only took a month and a half. They f finally found out they had no radar because
their radar was destroyed. So we took them out late at night with no lights with no nothing. And our great navy,
which did the greatest blockade anyone's ever seen, not one ship got through in two months. And we then freed up the blockade because we're close to maybe
making a deal. I don't know. We'll make either Look, we're going to win one way or the other. We're either going to make a deal or we're going to finish the job.
Okay? And it won't be tough to finish the job. Uh I'd rather make a deal because I don't want to affect 91
million people. We can knock down their bridges in one hour. We can knock out their energy supply. All of those big
plants that they built, big, beautiful, modern plants. They had a lot of money.
They don't have any money now. We haven't given them any money. But we can knock out their electricity and power
generating plants in I would say a small part of an afternoon every plant will be gone and they know
that. They know that of course the Iranians are not responding to his empty threats. That's because no one in Thran
takes him seriously anymore. Also, the Iranians are currently busy with the funeral service of their late Supreme
Leader AI Kame. Millions of people in Thran today joined the funeral service.
A Sky News reporter said that the crowd stretched a distance of at least 20 km.
These are quite extraordinary scenes in Tehran as the funeral portees of Ali Kam goes past us along a 20 kilometer
procession through the heart of the Iranian capital. We are some way from its final end which is in the square
down the road there. But as you can see from here, hundreds of thousands of Iranians out on the streets. Iranian government has promised the biggest
funeral of modern times saying 15 million people will come out on the streets. And from what we can see here, certainly hundreds of thousands have
answered that call. That is his coffin there with the black turban on it. And then flanking either side of that are
the coffins of his family members who died on February the 28th in a massive Israeli air strike that began this
4-month uh conflict. A war that Israel and America had hoped would topple his government. Now his surviving leaders
and governments would say this sends the opposite message. It shows that that war has been futile that his assassination
his martyrdom in their words has actually been counterproductive. It has galvanized public support because of course this was a belleaguered
government in the months before that war. Thousands came out of the streets to protest against the government. The we've spoken to some of them the
sidelines of this funeral have not been happy with [music] what's been happening here. There's an undercurrent of frustration and resentment and a fear that what's happened here is
strengthening his government. And certainly the leaders of Iran will hope that that is the case. They have mobilized and galvanized a massive show
of of mourning but also of support and sympathy uh for their government. And this is just 3 days into what is a
week-long funeral. His coffin is now going to go from here to uh the square down the road from here, but then go to
Hong, the seminary city south of here, and then it's going to Iraq to Carbella and to Najaf, key Shiite
shrines there, before he's finally buried in Mashad, the city of his birth.
And I think the authorities here will be satisfied with the spectacle that they have managed to put on here. a massive
6 minutesshow of sympathy for Ali Kame. A man whose rule has defied not just Iran for almost four decades, but also much of
the geopolitics of this region. A man who, whatever you make of him, has been a deeply consequential leader of a
deeply consequential Middle Eastern country.
Iranian expert Nagar Mortazavi says that the Iranians are trying to make a statement through this funeral ceremony.
for us what we have been seeing in Tran this morning. What's happened and what is still to come?
Sure. So, it's a multi-day state planned choreograph ceremony mourning of the top
leader of the country who was killed at the opening of the war by the US and Israel. Um, first of all, the ceremony
itself is a departure from religious tradition in Islam. In Shia Islam, you burn, you uh uh bury the dead as soon as
possible. And this took months for the state to plan for security reasons, for wartime. It's being done in the holy month of Maharam, which is a holy month
for the Shia. So there's political significance, there's religious significance. It's sending domestic messages to domestic audiences,
regional, international message of defiance by the state, resilience after two wars by US and Israel, which the
Iranians are projecting that they won and they resisted. Um, and also a message of continuity for the state and for the Islamic Republic.
Meanwhile, the story of an Iranian flight breaking the siege of Yemen has suddenly gained momentum. In one of my recent videos, I had played the
statement from the Houthi military spokesperson Yaya Sadari on the Saudi military unsuccessfully trying to
prevent an Iranian civilian aircraft from landing at the Sana airport. Now, more details have emerged on this
development. It seems that not only did Iran manage to defy the siege of Sana airport, but it also brought a Yemeni
delegation back to Iran. Iran just broke the 11-year siege of Yemen, flew a plane straight into SA, and nobody saw it
coming. Or did they? Think about this. A slow passenger plane visible on every radar in the Gulf, flying through skies
Saudi Arabia has controlled for 10 years. A plane like this cannot reach SA unless someone lets it. So the real question is not how it flew. The
question is who allowed it. Yemen says Saudi jets tried to stop the landing and were pushed back by missiles. Saudi Arabia says that never happened and
threatens a devastating response. But here is the one fact nobody denies. The plane landed. 200 wounded and stranded
Yemenes came home. Then it took off again carrying Yemen's official delegation to Thran to the funeral of Ayatollah Kam killed in the USIsraeli
strikes that started this year's war. A round trip through enemy skies untouched twice. For 11 years, that airport was
9 minutessealed, bombed, blockaded, choked to a trickle. On Friday, the lock broke in a single morning. And Sana says the route
is now permanent. Now, watch the theater. Furious threats on both sides, yet no retaliation on the batteries that allegedly fired. [music] No closed corridor, no consequences.
Meanwhile, quietly, prisoner swaps, a calm border, even a Saudi envoy at Comm's funeral. This looks less like a
confrontation and more like an undisclosed agreement with the outrage staged for [music] the cameras. Because after a war that proved American and
Israeli protection has limits, Riad is planning for the neighbor that isn't going anywhere, Iran. The public fury keeps Washington and Tel Aviv watching
the wrong story while the real one consolidates underneath. The siege of Yemen is broken. The only question is
who signed off. The Iranian issue may gain momentum after Ayatah Ali K's funeral service has concluded. But
Israeli lab dog Trump is facing global condemnation for his decision to disgrace the game of football with the help of his poodle in FIFA.
Today, Trump himself admitted that he had armwisted the compromised FIFA boss to revoke the red card issued to an
American footballer so that he could play against Belgium tonight. But I've never seen anything like it. So, I saw
the play and I'm a person that loves sports and was a good athlete and I understand sports really well. Really well.
And that wasn't a foul. That wasn't even an infraction. That was two guys running full speed that happened to [clears throat] crash into each other.
You can't take your foot and properly place it on somebody else's foot when you're going, "No, these were two great
athletes that got tangled up." And this referee who
is a little bit suspect if you check his if you check his past. I don't want to say that because I don't like to create
controversy, but but very suspect. Uh if you'd like, I'll provide you with the
past. He made a call that nobody could believe. You know, even people on the other side, they said, "Oh, we got
lucky. Wow, that's" and it's very interesting. They say they don't show them in slow motion. And I never realized that. I never heard of that before that they're not allowed to
review in slow motion cuz it's so different cuz you'll take one little quarter of a second and you'll see that a hand is touching a neck or you see
something whereas when you see it in fast motion it it will look like two guys collided which is really what happened. They got it's sort of
entangled. He didn't do anything wrong and he's our best player or one of our best players a very vital play and he gave him a red card. I didn't know what
that meant. I didn't think it meant much. Then I started hearing that that means he can't play in the next game at
least in the next game. I said, "Boy, that's a big, you know, if it happened to another player, it would have been
unfair." But when they take your best player or just about, they have some great players, but and they say you
can't play. That's very unfair. That's, you know, it's one thing to penalize somebody for the game, but how do you
penalize them for a game that hasn't been played yet? It's very unfair. you can't do that. So, uh, yes, I asked for
a review by FIFA. I spoke to a man who's highly respected and by the way, whose
level of respect has gone up tenfold and he was good before this started, but you know, he really pushed it in this
country. I'm the one that got them to do it. It was not Biden. Biden was asleep.
Another Israeli sto Ted Cruz thanked Trump for his thugri as everyone laughed.
And on behalf of all Americans, thank you for getting rid of that ridiculous red card. [laughter]
This is his interest. [laughter] It It was spectacular. There was a reason the FIFA trophy sat here for as long as it did.
This is who these glorified thieves and morally bankrupt maniacs are. Now this explains why these lord love to sponsor
a genocide in Gaza, Lebanon and are always eager to massacre school children in Iran. This also perfectly explains
why these lord were friends to pro-Israeli convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, you can argue if the
red card was correct or not, but once the referee has made a decision and the World Cup rule says it can't be
appealed, you don't use your power to disgrace the game. No wonder people in Turkey have now put up a giant banner
ahead of Trump's visit asking parents to hide their children during his trip.
Trump may think it's cool to flaunt his thug, but the controversy isn't going to die down anytime soon. Belgium has
already protested and even threatened to pursue all legal options on this matter.
This despite FIFA rejecting Belgium's concerns.
Extraordinary developments. In just the last few minutes, we heard directly from FIFA. They have ruled Belgium's appeal
against the reinstatement of Flo Balagan for tonight's critical game as inadmissible. They say that Belgium was
15 minutesnot a party to this process and therefore has no standing for that appeal. That means the bottom line that
Flo Balagan is available for selection if of course head coach Mauricio Pochettino decides to put him in the
team given everything that he and the entire US team has been through. I've just also received a reaction from the
Belgian Soccer Federation uh saying that they have been informed that their appeal is inadmissible and they tell me
uh quote the RBFA, that's the Belgian Soccer Federation FIFA has said Flo Balagan can play. That is huge news for the US.
Listen to former England player Gary Neville on Sky Sports. He calls it a stain on the entire World Cup.
I should be crying, but I'm laughing.
Uh, [sighs] wow. What do you say to that? Um, he rang up somebody at FIFA and asked them to change their mind and lo and behold,
an independent committee then changed their mind. Uh, look, it's a stain on FIFA. It's a stain on the tournament. It
stinks. Actually, just to say to start with, I actually agree with him. I don't think it was a red card. Um, and I actually think there should be some form
of process, which apparently there isn't within the FIFA guidelines and rule book to say that if there is a unjust red card that we don't want to see players
missing game. So that that should there should be an appeal process in place so that maybe like we have in the Premier League where they get rescinded.
Apparently that's not in place though.
So that means it's not in place for any team for then this to happen whereby just one team obviously the host nation and by the way there's a lot of love out here for the host nation. There's a lot
of love out here for the players, for Mitzio Partchettino, for the American fans. There's a lot of pressure on for them before the tournament. Lots of people didn't think they would do very
well, but they've been a breath of fresh air from game one, but this now puts a massive stain on that and they get
brought into it as well. And um I mean it's unprecedented. It's I've never seen anything like it in my life. It it's
ridiculous. But am I surprised with the uh sort of people involved? No.
Former Premier League manager and uncle of a legendary ex England player Frank Lampard. Harry Rednap too has condemned
Trump for causing disrepute to the game of football.

Jim, good evening. I I do want to start with the I don't know should we call it the politics. What do you what would what more is there to say about
President Trump and Jan Infantino and Balagan the striker?
Well, it is embarrassing isn't it? As Matt Lorton just uh has just said really it's so you know England get a man sent
off the king ring up uh FIFA or whoever and and ask him if they can resend the decision. Um, I mean to have the
president of the United States, he admits he doesn't even know what a red card is. Um, and what the what an offense is really that he got sent off
for. It's just using power and you know, unfortunately, we know that's what that is how things are in the world. It's not
just in football power, powerful man run, you know, president of the United States. It's shocking that he can overturn a decision that has been made,
you know, and what is he doing interfering in that decision that has been made by the referee and by V, you
know, Elsewhere, Hamas has disbanded its governing body in Gaza to pave the way
for a team of technocrats to take charge of governance and hope that this will finally end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory.
Hamas has ruled Gaza since 2007. So this development is massive. Whether or not
it leads to the end of illegal Israeli occupation is anybody's guess. Only time will tell.
Well, after running the Gaza Strip for nearly two decades, Hamas has announced the dissolution of its governing committee. This paves the way for a
transitional technocratic committee to assume responsibility. The committee's activities will be overseen by the Board of Peace, which was set up by US
President Donald Trump when the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel was agreed in October.
The head of the emergency committee has just resigned. The government has been dissolved for the preparations to transfer the national roles to the Gaza
Management Commission. It's with confidence that all the preparations for the handover of legal responsibilities of Gaza Strip has been completed. These
arrangements were presented in a transparent and official manner to the delegation representing the Palestinian factions and the higher commission of

One of the biggest problems that Americans have today, and whether that's regular Americans or policy makers, is that we have reduced Iran to a
caricature. They're just the evil empire brought up new again, kind of like the Soviet Union in the past. And there are this theoccratic regime and there's
crazy Mullers. That's the way we view them. Nothing they say matters anyway.
The only thing that matters is what we say. Well, that is ridiculous. If we don't even understand what the other side is saying, what they actually believe, then how can you have any kind of policy that has a chance to succeed?
Patrick Kennson is back on the show today and he's coming to us from Tron itself where he's been. He's the host of 21st Century Wire, Patrick
Kenning.stack.com and the Sunday wire show which he had on just yesterday. Patrick, first of all, welcome back to the show, but I wonder
if you could just kind of tell us this is a pretty unusual thing for a Westerner to actually be in Thrron and putting out news media from there into a
Western audience. How did that come about?
Well, thanks uh great to be with you, Danny. Um I hope our connection is uh stable and uh we can talk for a while.
Uh as people know the internet can be spotty here, but uh hopefully we have a good stable connection for for now. Um I
I I got a last minute opportunity. Um, I put in my press accreditation at the very very last minute and uh I probably
could have used a few extra weeks to book a flight, but I I managed to get uh some of the last seats available to get here for what I thought was going to be
a historic uh moment uh for for Iran as a country, but also for the region and I would say for the world as well. If you
think of the importance of the Middle East and West Asia and how the power uh dynamic has uh in in some ways shifted
maybe some say flipped uh in the last 6 months. So and and this is a leader that's been here for uh 40 years uh as
the sort of godfather of of the country and custodian of the Islamic uh revolution uh in Iran. So, uh, the
Ayatollah Ali Ham, uh, who was assassinated by the United States, uh, in Israel in the opening, uh, days of
the so-called 40-day war. So, uh, yeah, and it's been really just hitting the ground running, uh, like much like when
I came here before. Um I working with local media professionals to get access
to uh what are you know not easy things to to get access to and and I feel very fortunate I've been able to see a
viewpoint from from Iranian perspective uh at the Grand Masala the Grand Mosque for the this is a week-long funeral
procession it's nationwide he the he's going from Tran millions of people have already attended
today. I don't know what the numbers were, but I saw at the low end 8 million people on the streets of Tran for today's in Thran alone
in Tran alone for today's funeral procession. And then we had millions at the Grand Mosque the last previous two
days. And I I got to attend those and really got to see very very upfront and close um the intensity of this, the
mixed emotions. Unbelievable. Uh so it's it's important. I mean Americans got to understand and and Europeans and people
in the west they don't really have a concept of this kind of society where the the the leader is the religious leader of course he's also the
commanderin-chief he is also the philosopher uh the court philosopher for the for for the country he's also the
sort of godfather of Iranians so there's people like from the age of let's say late 20s to to mid-4s um this is the
only leader they've ever known in their whole life, you know. So, this is their sort of shared memory. This is the kind of figurehead of the country, but more
than a figurehead, very active in different uh levels of of society. And when he So, that's that shared memory.
Then he passes away, that's a a shared mourning and it's deeply affected people here, especially with the backdrop of the war. The US and Israel are still at
war with Iran. So the intensity of all these emotions that people are feeling and you know wanting uh wanting to you
know rebalance the scales of justice quite frankly and wanting to avenge the death of their beloved head of state.
Now, Americans need to understand that's a situation they've initiated because nobody has ever come up with any
justification of why they killed uh uh the Ayatollah, the the Supreme Leader, other than that we were told by all
these Fox Fox News pundits and Lindsey Graham and everybody else that we need to decapitate the head of the snake and then the regime will collapse and
Iranian society will collapse and they'll rise up and take over their institutions. as the president uh as President Trump uh implored the Iranian
people to do. Of course, we know that didn't happen after that. In fact, the opposite happened. Massive galvanization of society,
massive reinvigoration of the Islamic Revolution. Today, what we witnessed on the street, I've never seen anything like this in my life. I've been to the biggest demonstrations in the world.
I've been to the biggest demonstration in this country just in February for the National Day. And that was dwarfed by
what we saw today, not just in numbers, but in the intensity of it. And the other Patrick, let me ask you if you could
because I I do want to kind of take a book ends of that because you were there in February just before the war started and who knew if it was for sure at that
time if it was going to start. I wonder if you can characterize first of all the the mood of the people in February as
compared to the mood of the people if you can generalize it uh today.
Yeah, that's a great question Danny and um it's an important comparison. So when I came uh it was just coming off of the
massive riots which we've learned including the president's own admission that we were trafficking weapons to you know mostly peaceful protesters burning
burning down mosques and torching uh fire trucks and uh attacking uh uh first responders and and a lot of people died
in the crossfire of that including many policemen and so forth. So I I had come to to learn more about what happened
there because I knew that was being used as the justification to build up the case for the war. Uh that the the regime is evil and they need to be toppled because they're oppressing their people.
That was the narrative the US and uh and its allies were were pushing at the time. Um, so the mood was uh I and I was
surprised and I remember commenting to you back in February on this program, Danny, that I I didn't realize the
absolute ground swell and broad-based support that the government had that the Supreme Leader had. I really didn't
understand Iranian society that well at the time. So it was a it was a surprise to me when I've rec and
now that that stereotype had been put to rest in my mind back in February now I've come and I've seen another it's
this is like another level. So before the mood Danny was we support the government we're under the the US are
threatening war against us again the the aircraft carriers US is assembly naval assets you remember in the Gulf of Aman
the Indian Ocean you know it was a massive armada as as the US called it at the time and they were ready they were
ready and they were back they were behind their government but but people didn't didn't fully comprehend the viciousness that the US and Israel were
capable of uh until the war sort of begun. And and so now all those
stereotypes and all the anxiety and not knowing now there's no questions. The the Iranian attitude is so crystallized
8 minutesnow because they've done something and they know this. They've done something that no country in the world has done.
China has not felt the full blow of the US military. Russia has not felt the full blow of the US military and Israel
uh two massive massively powerful conventional militaries uh plus the sanctions but just the military Iran
remains standing after that not only standing Danny they've reversed the leverage geopolitically in the region
and all of this in the space of 5 months roughly that's you know if you think about it took the Vietong 12 years 15
years to uh to expose the the the the shortcomings of US imperial larettes in
the 60s and 70s and this this one was uh uh five week five months and if I could just interject that
that's that's another consequence of our absolute foolishness and arrogance and thinking that we could win this with air power when we're in Vietnam we were in
there with a half a million troops on the ground in their country plus the air force and everything else and now then this time we tried to do it on the cheap
just with bombs. And so once bombs and missiles and drones don't work, you don't have a ground troop. So now then you expose the limits to your power and
your stockpiles. So we're running out of both offensive and defensive missiles and now Iran has sucked them all down, shot back its own. And so that you had
started answering this question already, but uh to what extent are the people of Iran and and again I know when you talk
to individuals you get their viewpoint so it's hard to characterize but as best you can do they recognize that they are
the first ones really since the North Vietnamese to stand up militarily to the United States and then emerge. Even the
Taliban, they just outlasted us. But these guys actually took in the teeth and we can't win militarily. Do they recognize that? And what has that resulted in?
No. And you know, we I'm I'm very lucky that as an American, I'm on the street without any security with, you know, a
million angry to two, three, four million Iran angry Iranians. Angry at our government, not at me, of course,
personally, but I'm the closest representative to the US in their life at that particular moment in time. So they were not venting at me but uh to
telling telling me and we also spoke to uh people in the foreign uh around the foreign ministry and the national security uh council people within the
consensus of the foreign policy consensus community and the the general attitude is that they don't expect
anything from the United States on theou um they don't but but they're but the political the the parliamentary system
the president, the political uh um uh departments of this country will keep the door open for negotiations. they
will fulfill their obligations that they have set forth, but they they absolutely are preparing for war with the United
States because they don't believe the US is uh you know is potentially let's just say the alarms are up that the US is may
not fulfill their obligations and want to move the goalposts again. Um, and President Trump's comments uh on Friday
were hugely damaging here. And he said, uh, President Trump said, "We've given them a week off because we're nice.
We're not going to bomb them for a week.
We'll let them have their funeral." I mean, just this continuation of this, uh, attitude from Washington, it it's not impressing the people here at all.
They're not intimidated by it, but they're they're kind of annoyed by it.
And it what it's done is it's emboldened the hardliners here.
No, that's exactly what I was going to ask you. That's that's what he said prior to the the uh uh to the funeral, etc. Well, here just uh let's see, just
12 minutesabout three hours ago. So, President Trump, you tell me how you think this is going to land on the people that you just talked to.
Look, we're going to win one way or the other. We're either going to make a deal or we're going to finish the job. Okay? And it won't be tough to finish the job.
Uh, I'd rather make a deal because I don't want to affect 91 million people.
We can knock down their bridges in one hour. We can knock out their energy supply. All of those big plants that
they built, big, beautiful, modern plants. They had a lot of money. They don't have any money now. We haven't given them any money. But we can knock
out their electricity and power generating plants. in I would say a small part of of an
afternoon every plan will be gone and they know that look we're going to win one way or the other.
Yeah. So what do you what do you think what do you think about that that we're going to win one way or the other?
F firstly the the the way the Iranians translate that statement is that Trump has no intention and the US government
has no intention of following through with the memorandum of understanding otherwise they wouldn't be making threats during the initial stage of
negotiations and that's a professional diplomatic position to take. Uh obviously you don't have diplomatic professionals in Washington they
otherwise they wouldn't be talking like that before the 60-day uh uh phase one is completed. So Trump is seems to be
doing everything possible to undermine his own uh uh side of this memorandum of understanding. So he says he wants a
deal, but he's doing everything to sort of undercut his own deal, which is kind of counterintuitive, you could say, or
it's just sloppy. Or he he or his team don't actually know what they're doing and they think that they can threaten and intimidate their way to concessions
on the Iranian side. The Iranian attitude, Danny, is that uh they're ready to re rebuild whatever is
destroyed um in a matter of weeks. We have passed through so many bombing
damaged areas that we're I was expecting to see the damage. I haven't seen the damage and they they've already put up
the the stainless steel framework for replacement buildings and they're already rebuilding. So, they have they
have access to steel. They have great architects. They have builders. They have materials. They just immediately get on with reconstruction. So, their
attitude is like, "You can blow up all our bridges, but we're just going to rebuild them and probably better." That's the attitude you're dealing with here. These are not This is not a third
world country. These aren't people that are um easily intimidated by rhetoric.
But uh the US should really ask itself what's it prepared to lose if it's going to take out all the Iranian uh energy
infrastructure again. Uh what what is it prepared to lose in the region? What's Israel prepared to lose? Because they're
going to incur losses um if they if were you able to talk to these were you able to talk to any officials
on this trip? Um I have uh privately and uh we we won't have on record until
actually a foreign policy forum tomorrow with the highest you know level.
So what is your expectation or what is your understanding rather if President Trump carried through on that threat and did go back and start bombing energy infrastructure oil infrastructure etc.
What is going to be the Iranian response?
The Iranian response is a further galvanization of society. Um a a further
uh tightening of the political consensus um and probably I would say uh the
public are 100% Danny 100% behind uh the government if they're being attacked by the United
States. It's if it's only going to increase the support and the cohesion in society because there's there's even
people that are mo Danny, you wouldn't believe this. We're out in the street today. We're talking to people that used to protest against the government and
now they're pressuring the government not to negotiate with the United States and and to to continue the offensive.
These are people that were against the government a year ago. So that that's the flip that's happened through a lot of society. And I'm not I'm not saying
it's 100% consensus to uh you know play hard ball with the US, but I'm going to tell you it's it's uh it's on the
increase by orders of magnitude compared to where society was 6 or 12 months ago.
So I mean that's kind of what you're dealing with here. And so, you know, if if the US think that they can sort of,
you know, muscle and uh use coercion and threats of collective punishment that these are somehow going to be effective
in what what is their strategy? Is their strategy still regime change? Is this how they plan on carrying out regime change? Because if that's the case, I
really don't think that the plan in Washington is is is fully baked if if it's not even halfbaked actually, if
that's what they really think. So, I'm I'm I'm just curious what the strategy is in Washington. Have they developed one since last month or is this are we just going back to pre uh February 27th?
It's very hard to to answer that question at the moment based on these statements by the president.
And you know, I I want to take a look at one other thing because you mentioned this a second ago about changing the goalpost. So the memorandum of
understanding was done and you say that many in Iran don't don't believe we're even going to abide by those terms.
Forget about what we get to later with the alleged negotiated end to the conflict itself. But uh that has been highlighted a little bit by General Jack
Keane who he's he was here talking on Fox News yesterday about ostensibly talking about leverage he thinks the United States has. So I want your
comment on that. But listen carefully to what he feels and what he believes the terms are that we're negotiating.
We have lots of leverage here. We have you [snorts] mentioned part of it holding back financing based on uh their achieving the goals of the of clearly of
the negotiation and I think the goals are really three-fold. You mentioned one ending their nuclear enterprise for sure restriction on ballistic missiles and
support for proxies are the are the other two.
So he's I I don't think there's anything in theou about long range missiles and about proxy support uh at all. And he's talking like those things have to be
done before we give anything which is definitely not the terms of the deal. How do you see it?
He's also speaking with a fork tongue on the nuclear issue. Specifically, Jack Keane says the nuclear enterprise. So what he's trying to do is fold in
civilian nuclear power into the nuclear question because they haven't produced any evidence that Iran was ever developing a nuclear weapon. So again,
this is just part of that general deception and uh you know sideways shuffling that the United States keeps doing on these issues to try to
fabricate some kind of firstly fabricate a case that justifies the action that they're planning on taking. But further
than that, uh, all the, you're right, Danny, all the all of those are not on the table. So again, that's not a really
good, uh, that's not going through and trying to get a deal at all. If that's the case, if Jack Keane's a reflection
of the way the White House is going, but what what's what's Trump doing is pretty pretty obvious. And the Iranians have picked up on this. What they're saying
here is that the, you know, the Singap Singapore flag tanker, that whole situation they believe was engineered
because the US is trying to route ships uh through hugging the Omani coast basically and that was shut down just uh
I believe yesterday where Iranian uh speedboats are now warding off any ships that are taking that route out. So what
the US is trying to do is create a a provocation to hit uh systematically start taking out radar stations and
things that would help in the logistical management of the straight of Hormuz. So what the US is attempting to do is change facts on the ground so that the
Iran can't have administrative and logistical control over the strait because the physical management of the
strait is Iran's absolute greatest leverage in all of this. And the US believes that they can just gradually
incrementally sort of degrade that again changing facts on the ground, move the goalpost, change negotiations
mid-stream. That's they they do realize that this is a US strategy. Everyone's talking about it. You know, the nuance
of the political conversation here is so much more advanced than what you're having in America right now. And so I wouldn't never underestimate the Iranian
political calculus on this and how educated the public are on these issues because they're the ones that are going to be, you know, broadcasting the
consensus that the the the government here is very responsive to public opinion. Uh um which a lot of people
might not believe or understand. But there is a many layers of consensus here. public then you have at the at the
at the political and parliamentary level and then of course you have the council of experts and the supreme leader as well but all sort of three layers like
four layers of this in society are kind of congealed to create that kind of public consensus here and it's uh the
more the US continue down this erratic chaotic road and with these pseudo negotiations um with very little hands to play
militarily less and less Danny look at the situation in the region. What's the US's position now compared to 6 months
ago? It's a lot weaker. Everybody knows that. But I don't think the memo, they haven't got the memo in Washington on this yet.
Well, as a matter of fact, let let me show you the memo that has been released in in in Washington. And uh tell me tell me how this matches what
you're seeing on the ground. I'm sure it's going to be identical and you'll see it the same way because as it turns out uh this is Andy McCarthy who's a
columnist uh at the National Review and also a Fox News contributor and he says that Tyrron's hegemonic ambitions and
endemic anti-Americanism make negotiation with it pointless. Regime operatives are indoctrinated in the
jihadist concept of war as deception. Uh yeah, just uh we'll we'll talk about that one in a second. And therefore
nothing regime operatives say I don't know why they don't say uh government officials, but whatever. Uh say negotiations is trustworthy and and
therefore nothing to which they agree in writing such as Trump's memorandum is worth the paper it's written on. So
these hegemonic uh ambitions and uh you know as Jack Keen says a lot of times these uh uh religious Nazis I'm sorry
that's that's Lindsey Graham religious Nazis and all that. So, um, how does that match with what you actually see on the ground?
Look, uh, it's a bit rich, uh, anybody who's supporting Israel, considering what the Israelis have done in Gaza and
are doing in South Lebanon now and in the West Bank, uh, to accusing anybody of being a Nazi. Um, and specifically, I'm I'm leveling that at Mark Levvin, by
the way. [snorts] Um but uh look the again this goes to the lack of understanding Danny the fundamental
underestimation the fundamental lack of understanding of h how the political economy is organized here you know you
can't separate the the religious uh the the moral the ethical uh the the positions that this
government takes in tan on things like Palestine that's not just rhetoric they actually, you know, they actually
believe in these principles. It's practically enshrined in their constitution. And, you know, it's so I can't believe that some of these, you
know, war hawks in Washington haven't worked or or Israel haven't worked this out yet. And the other thing is the
politics in the military are blended with that. It's so you know when you have the issues of of the faith and
protecting you know Muslims that are being persecuted in Palestine and Christians by the way um that's also
part of the uh the Iranian concern is is all Palestinians Christian Muslim and otherwise same with Lebanon. And so it's
a very real position and they've put that front and center on the uh conditions for a negotiated settlement.
it's right at the top. So that that by by taking that moral position and then with the military deterrence which they
have demonstrated to be credible uh to back that up then you have that's the military dimension and then you have the political and the geopolitical dimension
which they are exercising visav their Gulf state neighbors and they've transformed their relationship with a lot of these Gulf states. I mean that
the the Saudis sent a delegation sent a delegation to the funeral of the supreme leader. I mean this is historic what's
going on here. And again has the penny dropped in in Washington about this.
It's a full package here because that that's something I really I want to make sure I don't forget. What
is the significance of of a Saudi delegation? And were there other GCC countries that also met? What is the
message that was received and what is your understanding of the message that was intended from the Saudi delegation to Washington?
Yeah, I I don't know the details of all the other GCC countries. Um and but but the fact that there were representatives
from Saudi Arabia is is the most important is the most important. Um and it means that there's an acknowledgement
there that this is an important event for for Iran and religiously as well. Uh even though we're talking about two
different um sectarian sides of the Islamic um uh issue visa v Sunnis and
Shiites. Um so it it is really significant other leading Muslim countries like Malaysia uh Russia sent a
delegation as well and and many many other countries. Um so the the you can't say Iran is isolated. Um the Pakistani
deleg delegation was significant. That's an Islamic republic as well. So you know between PAC just between Pakistan, Iran
and Saudi Arabia, if there's any degree of uh cohesion and recognition there and and and and relations that's that's
massive. This is a sea change just from 12 months ago. So that's so important.
And uh the other the other thing it what it says Danny is that there's now the beginning of a conversation about what
the security architecture is going to look like in in the Persian Gulf and West Asia more broadly. And this is not
has nothing to do with the United States. They don't have a say in that.
And so that's the conversation that you're starting to see happen now between these governments. And the fact that Pakistan has played such a a key
role in the mediation between the United States, I think speaks volumes. And everybody knows how close the relationship between Islamabad and and
Riad is. It's a very close, very tight and cooperative relationship between those two countries. So you add Iran
into that equation and it really is a very different uh potentially a very different direction that the region's
going in and that that there's no future for the United States in the region playing playing spoiler playing bouncer
uh playing uh attack dog for on behalf of Israel or visav Israel playing attack dog on behalf of the United States.
those days are are are winding down. And if if the US and the the war lobby or
the the Israeli lobby think that they're going to kick and scream and bully and, you know, destroy and, you know, wreck
their way to some kind of uh deal or agreement and that that that's not going to have absolutely
horrific ramifications for their interests in the region and for their allies. I think that this is a delusional position by the United
States. I'm just I'm just saying Danny take a temperature check on the ground here. Uh this is a very strong consensus
that's forming here. Um and you know there you're you're starting to see a kind of unonyimity of thought and realization about the true nature of
Washington and Israel's role in the region and that includes anyone allying with them. Well, and yeah, and I wanted to talk talk about
that too because there's a couple things here that have uh been out in the news here in the last couple of days uh here in the United States and in Israel that
is related to Saudi Arabia. So Saudi Arabia goes and they sent a delegation there which is obviously was not uh uh didn't make anybody in Washington happy.
Uh but Saudi Arabia is also connected because Israel has said about and so did President Trump prior to all this
insanity that we launched has been saying you know Abraham Accords Abraham Accords now I think you know pretty much what Saudi Arabia's view is but here's
what Benjamin Netanyahu said on a Fox News about how great things are going.
First of all we see eye to eye on just about everything and sometimes as happens among the best of allies and we are the best of allies. Uh there can be
differences of opinion. We usually uh speak about it in open conversation. You can imagine the president has his way of
expressing things and so do I. But we are, you know, we're allies. But I'd like to see the peace with Lebanon advance. Just as we advanced together,
President Trump and I, the Abraham Accords, which brought four peace agreements that nobody believed were possible, we brought them together. And
I think that the fact that we basically hammered the Iranian regime, uh, we've weakened it substantially and that opens up the path for some other peace deals.
So the Iran's been hammered and so they're basically on the sideline. Uh, Abraham Accords is great because nobody thought we could do it. Um, and we see
eye to eye with America. What could go wrong?
I mean, announcing that you've done the Abraham Accords and actually having the Abraham Accords are two different things. uh and they haven't got past the
announcement stage on that. And what the what the the move that Marco Rubio and co tried to pull with Lebanon by
creating this kind of uh normalization agreement between uh the the president and the prime minister uh and certain
factions in Lebanon, pro- US factions and uh and and the Israelis um and bypassing everyone else in Lebanon,
including the majority of the population and the the working majority in parliament, Hezbollah, and Hezbollah the armed uh militia wing as well in South
Lebanon that basically guaranteed that the the theou would be basically dead on arrival.
That's what the US has done. Okay. Now, the reality of that is in speaking to there there are a number of uh top
Lebanese journalists here covering this event. there's people from all over the uh the the Middle East and the Islamic world and on having a chance to speak to
some of them and some of the best are here and they basically said there's no chance that that deal that with with le the Lebanese government with Joseph Aun
brokered by the US and Netanyahu it's it's never going to see the light of day and they believe the only chance that
Israel has to change the facts on the ground is to bring in the al-Qaeda forces from Syria to to to ferment a
violent civil war. Uh and they think that that's actually going to be very difficult and could really backfire on a
very weak Syrian regime right now led by uh al- Shar as he's now known president
the president galani. So there there's all sorts of problems with that whole uh gambit that the US is doing with with
Lebanon there. So uh what's Netanyahu talking about? What Abraham Accords? I mean, I know Jared Kushner gave a PowerPoint presentation a few years ago.
It was very impressive. But what happened? Well, October 7th happened and that was the end of the Abraham Accords
effectively. And then the the 40-day war happened and then it's really the end of the Abraham Accords. And that that that
has transformed the relationship between Iran and the Gulf States irrevocably.
It's never going back. There's no chance. So, I don't know what what what what world that they're living in that they think that they can kind of
resurrect that. Um, no, there there's absolutely zero chance of that happening based on what we have witnessed together. I mean, look at what's
happened in the last 12 months. And how can you argue that this is a different region and so are the Gulf States. So,
no Abraham Accords. Maybe with the UAE, that's probably the only uh country that might have a chance at normalization
with Israel. But do you know what they call the UAE? The the the joke the joke is here. They're calling it East Israel,
basically. That's what they call the UAE. So, I mean, that's how ridiculous they're viewing the Abraham Accords. um
from the Iranian perspective, but also I think this is the case in uh Iraq and probably even in Egypt as well. No chance whatsoever.
Yeah, that's I mean that's that's kind of the way I've viewed it here. It's kind of common sense, but it doesn't seem to be common sense among the the loyal followers uh here with President
Trump and with Benjamin Netanyahu. Now there has been interestingly uh you know a big gulf in the United States even
among some on the right that are peeling away from saying all right we've been given too much difference to Israel uh
obviously you have uh Roana uh and uh the um I forget his name the the uh the
representative the Republican representative Thomas Massie um you have uh Tulsa not Tulsi Gabbert um
others in on the got here. Uh Tucker Carlson and and a handful of others that have really been pushing back and just just uh a lot of people have been
pushing back, but it seems like that memo also, speaking of memos that don't get through, hasn't gotten through to the elite because they seem to be still
acting like everything is good and everybody still loves Israel no matter what they do. And I found this very interesting here. This is President
Trump posted this this morning. Um he said Hillary Clinton bl with Democrat critics by backing Trump's Gaza plan as
quote the only game in town. And true enough she did. She she published an op-ed where she actually said that. So
you have this weird bet fellows of President Trump and Hillary Clinton together saying yeah the only game in
town is the one that the USIsrael is doing with Gaza. And I'm just wondering what your thoughts are. Is that really the only game in town with Gaza?
Well, uh, sadly I'm going to say that, uh, at the moment the the the US are very close, Israel are very close to
hurting, um, you know, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into what are effectively concentration camps and
they're they're calling these sort of safe camps and they're going to be under armed guard by US mercenaries 24/7. And we'll have a repeat of that whole
debacle of people being shot as they're sort of, you know, uh, running, scrambling to to pick up parcels of food
that uh, hunger games uh, that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, that uh, ridiculous NGO that was set up that was
part of this plan. So of uh naturally Hill Hillary's going to be on board with uh with with that because that's
probably exactly the type of uh plan that she would have concocted if she was in uh in charge if she uh had won the
2016 election. Heaven forbid. But uh so what what Trump is doing there is uh he he's trying to sell this is some kind of
a solution. The reality is it's a complete failure in terms of where things were uh two years ago and right
as Trump came in as president. if if positive moves had been made to get Israel to withdraw from Gaza when Trump
came into office. Instead, Steve Whit was deployed, Jared Kushner was deployed to basically run cover for Israel and to
keep make sure that US arms and support kept flowing while they uh are getting busy ethnically cleansing and continuing
the genocide of the native Palestinian population in Gaza. And now you're seeing the sort of endgame, which is
full uh depopulation of uh of the Gaza Strip. I mean, it's pretty hard to argue that's not what's happening. Um so again
the the the board of peace was a kind of quasi privatized initiative designed to
bypass uh a whole litany of UN Security Council resolutions regarding uh
Israel's illegal occupation of Gaza and the fact that it has been running a siege against a population that's
already under heavy duress uh which is a a war crime on a on of the highest possible level. So this is what they're
presiding over and they're trying to sell it as a win. And all this is doing is just strengthening the Iranian position, the moral argument that Iran
is making to the region and to the world. Uh and also for their allies as well that what what they call their proxies. And again, I'm going to
reiterate Hezbollah is not an Iranian proxy. They're allied with Iran. That's certain. Okay? They do get support over
the years from Iran, but they're not a proxy. Uh Hezbollah is absolutely a Lebanese-based uh organization. I mean that's a fact.
And their proxies in Iraq are Iraqis.
Okay. They they do form uh what's being called an axis of resistance. Ditto with Yemen, but these are all independent
state actors or semi-state actors. Um in Iraq, the resistance is nested under the Iraqi Ministry of Defense. So what what
are you going to call that? So the this is and and Iran is look th this hard line that the US and Israel are pushing
just relentlessly. What they've done is basically given a mandate to the IRGC to protect the country to defend the
country. They have a very very solid mandate to do their job in that respect.
So there's no question of where things are sitting in this equation. All Iran has to do is basically stick to its uh
core principles of that agreement. And what you're going to see, Danny, in fact, you're already seeing it, is other countries in the region are starting to conform to the Iranian position. Why?
Because the Iranian position is based on a moral red line. Well, that's what the US used to do back in the old days, right? Used to used to to have a moral
red line and then the threat of US force was enough to make everybody cower and back down to to a position. But uh now
that's not the case. Iran is not going to cower or back down because of a threat of US military aggression. That's gone. That card, as Trump likes to call it, is gone.
And that that that fundamentally transforms everything, Danny, in the region.
Yeah, it does. And that that that you're never going to be able to play that card again. It's it's over. Um listen, in the amount of time we have uh left with you
before you you take off here, um I want to talk into another area that you're uh obviously very knowledgeable about that is back in the Russia Ukraine war.
Overnight there was another big strike from the Russian side into Ukraine. Uh they hit all kinds of huge targets in uh
in Kiev and actually several throughout in the operational zone in the forward areas. You can see on the right hand side there a lot of drones that were fired into those and uh because Ukraine
has prioritized its air defense up in the capital region uh which had very minimal success but a little bit there are virtually none in the operational
zone. So those drones and missiles are getting through uh nearly all of them causing all kinds of trouble. But that's not the only thing because the Ukraine
side itself is firing back and they hit uh ins a very large uh refinery Russian
oil refinery which is the first time on record that had been hit. It was over 3,000 kilometers. Um so that is is causing some significant problems with
Russia. Apparently, there's a uh overall all these recent strikes are causing Russia quite a bit of problems in refinement capacity and causing them to
actually have to start rationing fuel even inside of Moscow and in other parts of Russia. Uh meanwhile, on the eve of
the NATO uh commentary, on the eve of NATO meeting tomorrow, I think is when it starts, Ukraine is saying, "Hey, we need more patriots. Don't don't give it
to us in 2027," which apparently is some contracts. They want a bunch now. Um, of course it's not really going to make that much difference, but that's what
they're trying to say. And lastly, uh, President Trump, uh, is saying, "Hey, uh, Trump won spending promises from
NATO last year and this year, he's going to try to enforce them here." How do you see all of this stuff playing out uh, in
as on the eve of the NATO summit where Ukraine wanting to get a bunch more stuff, Trump wanting to tell NATO, "Give me more money or spend more money." Um,
and then Russia and Ukraine continuing to back and forth on the energy attacks.
Yeah, Danny, you just cracked the enigma code of the Ukraine conflict. That's on the eve of every single major, whether
it's the G7, NATO summit, Munich Security Conference, you see these gallant Ukrainian drone attacks and and
really the way these are regarded uh in Russia are they're an annoyance. They're really inconvenient, but ultimately
they're a pin they're a series of pin pricks um compared to the bigger strategic picture. And again, this is like very uh you know, it might seem
like canny tactical maneuvers by the Ukrainians and their European backers, but what are they really going to achieve in the long run? Because on the
battlefield in Ukraine, Russia still plays the long game. they have now breached some of the most key uh
fortress cities um in in they have total control over Luhansk. That's a major achievement uh and a major initial
objective of the original SMO and they're very close to to doing that in in Donesk as well. also in terms of
Donbass and also uh some of the fortifications that were protecting uh Caravee as well
and as well uh Odessa won't be far behind. So th you know those are the sort of long-term strategic objectives
of Russia of securing its perimeter and so they're going to achieve these things whether or not these refineries keep getting hit by Ukrainian drone attacks.
So Ukraine might be winning the media war. They might be winning the uh fundraising war uh visav NATO funding
and the support from Western allies, but they're they're losing the actual war on the ground in Ukraine. That's pretty clear from pretty much all the reports
um that we can find and all the data we're looking at. And and again, the Jack Kees of the world will go and wax on Fox saying, "Well, look how long it's
taken Russia to take such little territory. They must not be very good and very effective. Putin's on his last legs. Russia's on their knees." as well.
Uh, a little bit of common sense. Uh, clearly there's nation building going on here on the Russian side. They're recapturing historic Nova Rosia that
pretty much uh, overlays pretty clear with the Ukrainian electoral map visa v Russian speakers voting for pro-Russian
candidates and they plan on governing over these areas. Now, Danny, as a military expert yourself, you'll know that if you plan on governing and taking
territory and keeping territory, the last thing you want to do is be killing civilians in those territories. That means the grind is going to be slow.
It's going to be tedious. It's going to be meticulous, and you yourself are going to incur quite a few losses uh on the Russian side in doing that. But
while doing that, they're also wiping out massive amounts of Ukrainian battalions, and they're overcoming a lot of the tactical things that Ukraine has
been uh throwing at Russia over the last four years. It I'm not saying this is pretty. I'm not saying that this is a a
clean war for either side, but the it's very clear what the Russian strategy is.
However, I'm not very sure what the Ukrainian strategy is or the US or the European strategy. In that sense,
it it seems to just be continue the war and and just uh just keep the thing going no matter how many Ukrainian people have to die because uh it seems
that that is an end to itself to keep the thing going. But the problem is that there has been an increasing number of statements and annoyance and aggravation
if not outright anger on the Russian side because of strikes like this which now have an impact on the population. I think that there is this fant
fantastical hope among the western that that somehow this annoyance with Putin can turn into people turning against him
and saying, "Hey, just end the war right here." Do you see any prospect that that could happen?
Absolutely not. Despite how uh how painful and uh uncomfortable this
conflict is for many Russians, um let's not kid ourselves, it is. But a more um a bigger majority of the Russian
population is absolutely behind the government. They know like the Iranians know this is a bigger story. This is an existential threat to Russia. NATO
enlargement, the weaponization of Ukraine, all the uh the schism that they're trying to create uh between
Ukrainians and Russians uh in the West, just as the Iranians are also very aware that this is a an existential drive to
eliminate any resistance to US or Israeli hedgemony in the in in the Middle East. The same is true with uh Eastern Europe and along this front.
Everybody knows that. Hence, Danny, the the the support, the deep supports there, but what's more important, the institutions in Russia are going to
support the president. And Putin, even if he's losing five, six, seven, let's say he lost 10% on approval poll ratings
and stuff like that, he's still, you know, very comfortably around 70% approval rating. And, you know, compare that to any leader anywhere else in the
world. I say Vladimir Putin's in in a very good standing uh in in that sense.
So again, if they're hoping that uh this is going to somehow pull the rug out from under the Russian president, what
they're doing, and in fact, it is galvanizing the hardliners. The hardliners in Russia are getting a better platform now. That's not good
news for the West. I'm sorry. It just it just isn't. So, I think they need to re-evaluate their uh quote strategy uh
on this. And and what do you make of the uh because I haven't had you on since we've since he' said this before. Uh
President Trump enters office. I'm going to end this in a day. Uh and then it was okay. Well, 100 days and a bunch of
stuff. Anchorage looked like, hey, maybe we're making some progress, whatever. Uh things start muddling along and then all of a sudden basically we just quit and
just stop even trying. And it went silent for a long time. Then all of a sudden in the I think it was the 1 of June uh the White House announces it's
48 minutesgoing to have an $8 billion new arms and support package for Ukraine. And then to defend it, Secretary of State Marco
Rubio comes out and says, um, listen, we picked a side in this deal and it's Ukraine side. So we're not even ostensively trying to get this over
anymore at the cabinet level of the United States. What then is the United States play right now? What are we trying to accomplish?
It seems like they've defaulted to the deep the original sort of deep state position and uh you know official
Washington wins again. Danny, they're undefeated. Official Washington.
Many different presidents, campaigns, and parties come through, but the deep state is just still running with that amazing no hitter that they've been
throwing now for quite some time, at least the last five or six US administrations. So, uh, again, it's,
uh, it's that old story. Um, you know, it it it the the important part for us, you know, I consider myself part of the
49 minuteselectorate, uh, is to recognize the gap between what the public want during each election cycle and what the public get
uh, from the political class after they're elected. And that that gap remains very wide. and they always pander to the anti-war vote because they
know it's the swing vote in America whether it's Democrat or Republican that is a vote you want and you that's how you carry elections and carry swing
states and win by narrow margins in that in general elections and Donald Trump is no exception to playing that uh that
angle which he has played masterfully in my opinion in 2024 uh in the elections the results now should speak for
themselves and we need to as as the electorate to come to grips with this repeating Groundhog Day scenario that we keep getting uh every four years.
Well, now you know this this one though potentially could carry even more ramifications than our fecklessness in the Middle East because I mean that that
50 minuteshas some relatively near-term problem with the straight of the horm still not being fully opened up and no prospect it's going to happen anytime soon.
That's going to have some medium-term financial impact. This one here though has the greatest uh catastrophic
potential because there are a growing number of course in and you mentioned among the the the war hawk top right in Russia that they're putting more
pressure on President Trump, President Putin to strike into Western Europe and saying I'm they're sick of allowing the
Western countries to use their airspace uh to use their intelligence, their targeting systems, their physical manufacturing, etc. to use stuff that's
been used against Russian uh cities, etc. that they're saying, "Hey, it's time to strike back." And and it doesn't feel like to me, I mean, I like your
view because you talked to a lot of different people, it doesn't feel like that Russia is just going to keep just taking this in the in the gut and never do anything back. Do you think that
there is a risk that in some period of time, and you can define what that is, that Russia may actually act outside the borders of Ukraine?
I I think I think absolutely in fact that if anything's developing uh on the political pressure in Russia with this
conversation, it's that the hardliners are basically saying that you know uh we're we're going to lose our deter our
credible deterrence if we continue to allow uh these attacks from uh NATO's proxy. This is a real proxy Ukraine.
They're literally being armed to the teeth by Western European and US NATO members and then they're using those to
kill Russians. Russia's not using anybody to kill Europeans in the West.
So this this equation is getting very uncomfortable and very lopsided and it's almost begging um Russia to basically uh
go go to the root of what is a potential existential problem and threat to their their existence their not just their
national security but their existence because the plan being articulated by the uh the brains in Germany in Berlin
in in in Paris and in London is that they can overwhelm And they can, and this is at the think tank level, they're also talking about
this with their next generation warfare autonomous drones. They can overwhelm R the Russian state, immobilize the
Russian state through these waves of drone attacks and and they believe that this is going to be their path to
victory over Russia. why they need to to to declare a victory over Russia or to defeat Russia or to break up or
dismember Russia as Khalia Kalis uh the high European representative for foreign policy herself has publicly said breaking it up into 10 different
countries why this is this uh uh imperative by the west is uh anyone's guess really but it's real it's
happening so Russia's looking at the Iranian situation and Iran dealt with that pretty pretty quickly um by hitting
US bases uh and and manufacturing facilities and the types of threats that were were hitting Iran, US proxies or US
positions in the region. And what uh what happened to the Gulf States? They they pretty much capitulated to Iran.
So, Russia's looking at that and saying, what are the what are the Europeans really going to do if we uh demonstrate
some deterrence on European soil? Are they really going to escalate? Is the US really going to come to their aid or is there going to be a kind of freakout in
Europe like how did we get here? I think there'll be a political crisis in Europe if that happens and Russia would if
they're calculating this um and it is a political decision and and that the effect is political Danny make no
mistake about it that you know as uh Claus Witzian view that war is an extension of politics by other means.
Absolutely. Russia subscribes to this and so that's that's a gamble the Europeans are kind of you know wagering
there and uh they're they think that Russia's bluffing quite frankly. Where is that going to lead us there? Um do we
want to learn why all these missile uh bilateral and multilateral missile agreements and nuclear disarmament agreements were all erected during the
Cold War? Are we do we have to learn that figure that one out again? Are we going to have to go through that whole process again collectively in the west
to prove why we need those things? Um that's a question that people need to ask themselves uh in the west. They serious conversation.
I know you you talked to a lot of people in Europe and and uh both both in UK and in other countries. It seems to me that
the at least at least among the the ruling elites and in in all all these European countries and I I nearly don't accept
anybody anymore. I think that they do believe that Russia is only bluffing, that there are no red lines, that they
55 minutesas long as there's not like a a French jet that fires a missile into somewhere into Russia, as long as there's, you
know, plausible deniability in between or or an area of separation so that they give the missile to Ukraine and then Ukraine fires it. Somehow they think that's a get out of jail free card and
they don't have to worry about it. I think that they really believe that there is no red line as long as they maintain that separation that uh is
going to be that way. Russia, how how is what is your understanding of how the Europeans view that calculation?
You know, I I I would like to say that they have an independent position on that, Danny, but this goes back to the
US uh piece on this this insistence by the US that European countries, you
know, increase their spending on their defense budgets, you know, 5%, it used to be 2%, then they were pushing for
three, now it's five. these countries simply can't afford to spend that kind of money on quote defense when the
antagonization coming from the US and some of the uh European governments um is the one creating the threat that they
would need to defend against. So this this whole uh uh pantomime this manakian pantomime that's been constructed here I
think a lot of it's being driven by the US quite frankly because to me the cheapest most economic and prosperous
[clears throat]
solution would be to engage in diplomatic negotiations. I mean, that would be because all of these European countries, Danny, they're already
running historically over budget, and some of them have had to relax the European Union uh uh fiscal uh uh uh
safety measures, put in place u in terms of approving uh the budgets of individual member states. They pushed a
lot and created loopholes to get around that to to pay for all this quote investment and quote defense. Well, this
isn't really affordable and it's going to create inflationary pressures that are already uh kind of a problem in all
of these European countries and the only people that are absolutely benefiting from this are people in the defense industry, shareholders in those
industries and politicians uh as well that are, you know, being lobbyed by those industries. Those are the only to me the only real beneficiaries from
this. from the from the public point of view, they're cutting uh services. The price of energy and power is skyrocketing. Um, you know, it's
unaffordable actually. Electric and gas in Europe. I'm talking firsthand here.
You'd be shocked at what we're paying right now. And uh and and there's some really uh gouging going on uh right
across the board in Europe. So I think uh that I don't think it's sustainable, you know, and at some point I think the
the political pressure is going to come whereby just out of pure survival for some governments, they're going to have
to start moving towards some kind of a diplomatic conversation to resolve the the Ukraine situation with Russia
because that's that's the only economic, practical, and probably safest option if you want to maintain equilibrium, peace
and prosperity in Europe. Europe. What they're doing now, what they're pushing for, what the US is pushing the Europeans into, which they are. They're
acting like it's hands off, Danny, but this is very real pressure being applied via NATO from Washington. Okay. Very
real pressure. And and and yet and a lot of these are sickopantic Mark Rut types in a lot of the European decision-making
positions at this. And that's the problem actually. Um and and it's not I don't blame the European public because I think they've been brainwashed to a
large degree um with this whole Ukraine ferago and then dragging Finland and and Sweden into NATO uh talking about
putting nuclear weapons on finished soil. This is just madness.
Yeah. you know, and so I I don't I don't think this has a lot of popularity, and there's going to be a lot of governments that will be out because of this issue.
59 minutesAnd I think there is a a race on the elites part to escalate to a point where they kind of somehow bring this to a a military crisis or ahead or a standoff
or something to kind of uh charge a new hot stroke cold war and then back off. I I really don't know what the strategy
is. Maybe Europe just forgot about the devastation of the last two world wars on European soil and they just need to learn that lesson again. I really hope
that's not the case. But Danny, pressure is being applied by Washington.
Washington could end it in still. But they don't have the political will or the desire to do that. We need to ask ourselves why.
Yeah. And I think we know the answer to that. Uh and it has to do with something that's green and also with power. Well, listen, uh, really appreciate you
sticking with it late and, uh, you know, covering all these topics today. We, uh, we certainly appreciate it and we appreciate you and, uh, look forward to seeing you on the next, uh, episode.

A top Iranian military figure has issued a chilling direct threat to Western leaders, declaring that continuing diplomatic talks will not stop Iran from seeking vengeance. Speaking during televised events for the week-long state funeral of slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, former IRGC Commander Mohsen Rezaei stated that the response "will not end with military deterrence." Rezaei explicitly named U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as personally responsible, vowing they "must not escape retribution." The fiery rhetoric comes as Khamenei's casket was transferred to the Iraqi holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, illustrating a unified regional front even as diplomats try to preserve a fragile ceasefire.

In one of the sharpest warnings against US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a
former commander of Iran's powerful revolutionary guards has said the death of the late Supreme Leader will be avenged by action against them.
Former IRGC commander Mosen Razai has declared that Iran's response to the killing [music] of former Supreme Leader will not end with military deterrence.
Speaking in a televised interview, Razi drew a distinction between what he described as strategic revenge and individual retribution.
According to Rzai, Iran's strategic objective is the expulsion of the United States from
the West Asia region, arguing that only then can the region achieve lasting independence. He said the strategic
retribution must certainly be achieved so that the path to our progress remains open.
But Rosai also said those he holds personally responsible for Kam's death must face consequences. Without
elaborating how, he declared, "The two individuals responsible for the assassination of the martyed leader must
not escape retribution." He specifically named US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Rosai also described the massive funeral ceremonies held across Iran as proof that Kam's influence had grown beyond
his lifetime. He argued that millions of mourners demonstrated the failure of what he called enemy efforts to weaken public support for the Islamic Republic.
According to him, Kamet's ideology has now become deeply rooted in Iranian society, strengthening national unity despite the recent conflict.
Razi also highlighted the funeral ceremonies in the Iraqi holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, saying they would
symbolize the close relationship between Iran and Iraq. He claimed Iraqis would welcome the late leader because of
Iran's role in helping stop the advance of Daesh, also known as ISIS, after the group's offensive in 2014.
The former IRGC commander went beyond the funeral itself, outlining what he described as Iran's long-term regional
objective. He argued that stronger cooperation between Iran and Iraq could eventually help free West Asia from the
influence of both the United States and Israel. [music] His remarks reflect a long-standing
position within Iran's political and military establishment that reducing American military presence in the region remains a strategic priority.
While negotiations continue over implementing the [music] recent memorandum of understanding, senior Iranian officials have repeatedly
insisted that political dialogue will not alter what they describe [music] as Iran's right to seek justice for common killing.

The man who ruled Iran for decades is making his final journey. Millions of mourners are pouring into the [music]
streets in one of the largest funeral processions Iran and the world have ever witnessed. [music]
On Tuesday, the holy city of Kum was overwhelmed by waves of mourners as hundreds of thousands of people [music]
gathered to bid farewell to Iran's late supreme leader Ayatollah [music] Ali Kam.

Aerial footage showed crowds of people marching in waving flags and [music] carrying posters with images of
the slain leader and waving the Iranian flag.
Kam was killed in a joint USIsraeli attack on Iran on Feb 28th, triggering weeks of war [music] and escalating tensions across the region.

Iran's official news agency IRNA [music] said the crowds extended for 7 kilome.
Funeral prayers [music] were also held at the holy Jam Kuran mosque.
The bodies [music] are due to be transferred next to Iraq with ceremonies scheduled in Najaf [music] and Carbala before Kamina is buried on
Thursday [music] in Mashad in northeastern Iran.
Iranian state television also aired [music] live images of tens of thousands of people walking toward Jam Karan
mosque just south of Kum for a funeral [music] service for Kam. The mosque is believed by Shiites to have once hosted
the Muhammad Almadi, [music] the 12th and last Shiite Imam who disappeared in the 9th century [music] and will one day reappear to bring justice to the world.

carried banners threatening US President Donald Trump during the funeral procession.
The larger crowds waved Iranian [music] flags and red banners which read kill Trump as tens of thousands of people gathered.

Iranian mourners in Tehran hurled stones at an image of US President Donald Trump on Monday during a memorial procession
for the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Kam. Footage shows crowd [music] pelting a billboard suspended from a
bridge. Others carried Iranian flags, red revenge banners, and signs reading,
"Kill Trump, $100 million Iranian bounty," while chanting, "Hider! Hider!"
The chant invokes Haidider, a name meaning lion, and commonly associated in Shia [music] tradition with Imam Ali.
The procession was part of farewell ceremonies that began on Saturday and are [music] scheduled to continue across
Iran and Iraq until July 9th. The ceremonies are due to move to K on July
7th before concluding in Mashhad where Kami's body is expected to be buried at
the Imam Raza shrine on July 9th. Iran says official delegations and religious figures from more than 90 countries [music] are attending the ceremonies.
Authorities have made major preparations [music] for the crowds, turning mosques, parks, and stadiums into temporary
[music]
accommodation sites and setting up camps for mourners.
The United States and Israel launched [music] a joint military operation against Iran on February 28th that led
to the killing of Kam. Thrron later confirmed Kami's [music] death and his son Moshtava was named as his successor.

Welcome back to the show everyone. Uh as you can see I'm joined by Pepe Escobar, independent journalist and geopolitical analyst and we are going to break down
the latest news. So first okay Pepe. So first the United States overnight completed another round of strikes for
the second straight day. They claim over 91 targets were hit this time on top of the 80 plus uh the day before. Iran is
saying that over 14 people and 78 have been wounded in these strikes and they have retaliated. Iran has with
strikebacks of their own, including on a Patriot missile battery in Kuwait, an early warning radar in Qatar, fuel
storage in Bahrain, two US bases in Bahrain, including including the fifth fleet have come under attack. And uh we
also have targeting of an air base in Jordan. this uh morning or uh for Iran this afternoon which included hypersonic
missiles used to fire about 10 ballistic missiles in Azra Jordan to destroy a
command and control center. This just touches the surface. You reported Pepe that some of the US strikes have
targeted railway. Iran is saying that major infrastructure, civilian infrastructure has been targeted, including a railway between Iran and Turk Manistan that connects to China,
the Chabahar harbor, the port, a key node for Russia Iran India transport and
the Mashad Tan railway which in Mashad the Ayatollah Supreme Leader Ayatollah Alahamini is as we speak being buried
there now. So Pepe, so much to catch up on. How about you help us understand?
Maybe let's just focus on the last and what makes uh day two significant as we see a restart of uh
allout war at least teetering toward that.
Well B first of all greetings Denny greetings all of you. I am at my new refuge in the garden in NATO which could
not be more could be a deeper contrast to all the horrors around us. So here at least we
can maintain a little bit of sanity. But you enter the studio and you look at all the equipment and you see what's coming out and it's uh and it's hell. It's
absolute hell. Well, we are all very worried about uh the perversity,
the crassness, the stupidity and how nefarious is the empire of
chaos, plunder, piracy and lies. Of course, these bombings u from yesterday
to today and they will continue. They are not only against uh so-called military installations along the Persian
Gulf. If you look at what was bombed along the Persian Gulf, uh it's a lot.
It starts near Kar in the west and it goes all along to the port of Shabahar in the southeast close to the Iran
Pakistan border. But the Americans are bombing civilian infrastructure and very very important the connectivity
corridors that are very important inside Iran and linking Iran with BRICS members
mostly Russia and India. So what this post that I made, they the internal uh
uh [sighs and gasps] the internal bombing was crucial and extremely perverse because this is the
day where since yesterday night in the middle of the night, billions of of pilgrims were taking the
train from Thran to go to Mashad because today in Mashad is the burial, the definitive burial of Ayat Kame and
members of his family in the shrine of Imman Raza which is one of the most extraordinary shines on the planet. And
of course the Americans bomb the railway. What else? This is what Americans do in war. This is what the baboon of barbaria loves to brag about.
So this was uh bombing an inside node in a connectivity corridor inside Iran. But
it goes way beyond that because they bombed a bridge which is more or less 40 kilometers from the Iran Turkmanistan
border which is part of the railway that goes from Iran crossing the border to Turkmanistan and then through the
central Asian stands to sing Jang in western China. This is the Iran China railway which was bought and paid for
and built by the Chinese. So this is the Americans bombing bricks integration,
Eurasia integration on the with a Chinese angle. But they also bombed
Eurasia integration with a Russian and Indian angle which is bombing the port of Chabahar in Sistan Baluchistan near
the Iran Pakistan border not far from the port of Guada in the Pakistani side 80 kilometers between them and Chabahar
is the key. Chabahar is way to the east of the Persian Gulf. Chabahar is in the Gulf of Oman almost in the Arabian Sea.
So this is one of the key planks of the international north south transportation
corridor Russia, Iran, India. It was the theme of the documentary that we shot last year when we went to Chavahar. We
talked to the authorities. We had green light to go everywhere. We saw the Chinese cargos coming. We saw the Indian cranes. We discussed the possibilities
of Chabahari coming up almost like a replica of Shenzen in the near future.
What do the Americans do? They bomb a key connectivity corridor linked to the Russia Iran India neo silk roads. So
this is what the empire does. You know it's a it's a bunch of grifters and um sub Tony Soprano people. They are a bunch of mafia, a low-life mafiozi.
They're very, very dangerous. They're out of control. And of course, they're angry. The president of the United
States is an angry animal because he's totally cornered. He has nowhere to go when he's he's offered an off ramp which
is the memorandum of understanding which he signed the 14 points at the palace of Versai side by side with the piece of
[ __ ] Lipi here the king of this thing where I live and two weeks later he says
no I don't want it anymore I don't want to make a deal with them they they're scum I'm I'm quoting him he said these
people are scum So basic basically this is self projection. This is the president of the United States talking like Roy Kong
the scumback who taught him about how to deal with everybody. This is it. It this
is beyond disgusting. So he blew up the memorandum of understanding until a few days ago many of us were even playing
around. Okay, is the MOU cat [laughter] alive, dead or in a coma? And most of us were saying, "Yes, it's come to but it's
not dead yet." Now it's dead and it was killed by the president of the United States. And the Iranians know it. And the Iranians don't care anymore because
they never believed that this was for real. They identified the MOU as basically the United States playing for
time. And that's exactly what they were doing and they will continue to do. And now it's back to the escalation ladder.
8 minutesAnd now we are right in the middle of the escalation ladder that we all so naive of from from all of us to believe
that the memorandum of understanding would somehow bring them to discuss it at the table. So uh Danny and all of you
this is immensely distressing of course uh predictable as predictable as it could be
uh in the case of what we were trying to to follow which was the role of the Pakistani mediators and that translates
to Larry and I in our new channel which then was on transition protocol yesterday.
So uh Larry and I were getting information directly from the Pakistani mediators and we were trying our best to
place this in into the context of look they're breaking their backs to try to make thisou work with of course help
direct and indirect from Qatar from Oman eventually from Turkey far away certainly backing from China uh in the
background but now this whole thing is collapsing So uh today as we speak then in fact
after I talk to you in maybe in two hours from now it's something that Larry and I are trying very hard to get some
sort of reconfirmation. We have a confirmation but both of us said look this is not good enough. We need a
certified confirmation. According to one of our Pakistani sources, it is Trump
that is begging the Pakistani mediators to get Iran back into the negotiation table.
This wild is as wild as it I agree with you, Danny. This is as wild as it gets. But I
I told our our our our sources in Islamabad, guys, we need at least a quote from somebody at the table, you
know, he has to to bet his ass that this is exactly what's happening. Of of course, there are rumors about it
everywhere. But we need a a surefire confirmation that this is exactly what Trump is doing. And of course he's
posing as macho macho macho man bombing installations military and civilian all
across Iran. And this will probably continue tonight after we speak. So this is where we are at the moment which is very distressing for all of us. We are back to the escalation ladder.
Yeah, we definitely are and it is getting uh quite barbarous as you have put it Pepe. Donald Trump shared this
about Chavahar. This is by the way from the 12- day war that image and he said this is in retribution for yesterday's bombing
image from yesterday right no it is not it is from the 12 day war but Trump shared on truth social like it was it's in retribution for yesterday's
bombing of ships by Iran if it happens again it'll get much worse and then when you with your report of uh Trump being the one uh uh begging Pepe regarding uh the um uh getting back to the table.
This is what Trump had to say uh to the media when he was questioned about this.
We have many ways we can win, but we've already won militarily. They have very little They have very little left and they want to make a deal so badly. They
called a little while ago. They want to make a deal so badly. I just don't know if they're worthy of making a deal. I don't know that they're going to honor the deal. That's the problem.
So Trump claims the exact opposite which is he's lying and Arai posted on X essentially saying that he's lying.
Yeah.
Arai is in the negotiating table. So he knows exactly what he's talking about, you know, and this confirms what we heard from our Pakistani guys as well.
So that's why we would love to have an extra confirmation that this is exactly what's happening. He's posing as macho man while begging okay let's restart
theou and but the difference is that now the political leadership in Iran not to
mention the IRGC high levels and even more important which is something that we have this for
sure for from somebody who is relatively relatively no he is among the deciding
circle around Moshaba coming in that there there are going to be big big changes. If the Americans don't stop bombing Iran, all bets are off.
Yeah.
And that and this decision comes directly from Mustava Kame. So this week
is very peculiar because the whole apparatus of government in Iran was involved in theerary
rights, the ceremonies, talking to the foreign delegations, going to the streets of Thran, you name it. This ends
today, Thursday. Tomorrow is a completely different story. So there's going to be tomorrow there's going to be a high level super meeting with
everybody that counts in Thran. I'll say okay the escalation letter is back. He's bombing our installations military and civilian now. So what is our response?
Our response cannot be only to bomb our UAE base in Qatar. Bomb K bomb Kuwait
and that's it. And we don't even bomb Qatar because we had a deal with Qatar that they're helping us to get our money so we cannot bomb them. But does that
hold? Is Qatar playing a double game? Is Saudi Arabia playing a double game? Can we trust both or not? Probably not. In
fact, so this is going to be debated in detail tomorrow in Thran. So we're going to have developments this weekend or
next weekend which the echoes that we are getting is that it's going to become much more hardcore
in terms of Iranian response and of course very important Denny uh the straight of mus is going to remain blocked
period if you don't agree to negotiate with the RGC navy and the Persian Gulf authority
you won't cross the straight of Hormuz one way or another. Period. That's it. And nothing's going to change that.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I wanted to ask you uh about your evaluation of Iran's response uh thus far because as you
noted, it has focused mainly on Bahrain and Kuwait with uh one noted strike on on Jordan, but
um and Ozrak. But uh this I think is the more telling story which is the straight
of form is now is essentially closed uh for good. Uh there was about one vessel that was reported last night. This is a
post from then showing it was a small Indian vessel. Uh some said it was just it was a wooden vessel. So a very small
wooden vessel. Uh but everything's closed. The Omani corridor so-called has been closed and uh I think since this
time maybe two total have crossed uh and the rest have either stayed put or turned off their transponders in the
hopes of uh not being seen uh as they lay and waiting. So Pepe is Iran's
initial retaliation mainly just about uh re you know the IRGC Iranian officials has said that they have mainly move to
just reclose the straight of Hormuz and uh as you said uh there's likely more to come. I'm curious about your uh if you
wanted to give a more fuller evaluation of Ron's response and and the impact that this is going to have because going back into this day after day after day
uh there are a lot of risks especially on the US side uh when it comes to uh this the the ticking time of let's say strategic oil reserves.
Exactly. Well, there are several possible scenarios in parallel, Daniel.
What could happen?
There is already a discussion uh with a very good among very good Iranian analysts. Forget forget about Westerners.
Is Iran being too uh timid in their response at the moment? This is one one
vector. The other vector is look they should respond in kind to the Americans
and attack American assets a little bit everywhere across the Persian Gulf no matter where they are and even including American maritime vessels.
So this is the more hardline version.
17 minutesBut there is a third uh vector which is basically saying no strategic patience still uh should be
the number one uh imperative because we have to look at what could happen in a months from now or
especially from end of July mid August which is the critical date about the depletion of the strategic petroleum
reserves and and the baboon of Barbaria is going to be in
completely cornered and on top of it with the straight of Hormuz not opening remaining under total
Iranian control there's no way out for him so we have different ways that Iranian
analysts are looking at it it's all all of these vectors have pros and cons
but there is also one message that we're trying to we are trying to confirm an information that is immensely critical.
There was uh I think there was at least one post on X coming from a member of the Marshalls
where he was basically in a tur language he was saying this he published it in Farsy and the English translation may
not be extremely accurate. He was basically saying if we are attacked again by the Americans,
we're going to start discussion our selfexclusion from the nuclear nonprololiferation
treaty, the NPT. And we all know what that means.
The thing is everything is in place for this to happen legalistically in Iran.
If Iran decides to do that and there is a period of this has to be formalized,
they can do it and after that all bets are off and that would include
a revision of the Iranian nuclear doctrine by Moshaba Kame, the new leader, still invisible for
obvious security reasons, but under extreme pressure even from Iranian
public or vast vast sectors of Iranian public opinion. Iranian Iran bombed
again serious bombing of Iranian uh infrastructure. The economy is in dire straits.
So uh and if this uh bombing of strategic node overland nodes with other bricks members continues is going to be extra problem for the Iranian economy.
How long they can last and what kind of dissuation to end all thisuations they could apply. This would
be of course the possibility of nuclear dissuation.
20 minutesIt's something that Larry and I discussed in our previous channel that was canceled by the US government.
It was part of a phone call by President Pzashkin to Prime Minister Shabbas Sharif where the nuclear angle surfaced.
So the nuclear angle could resurface again by a decision of the new leader Moshaba Cam
and of course the Fatwa by his dad will have to be revised and if he does that
uh we won't we cannot go wrong saying that he would have overwhelming
support from all sectors of Iranian society.
So that's how dangerous this whole thing is at the moment. There is a serious possibility. It's an information that
will have to be reconfirmed again, but it's already on the table. And this uh I
wouldn't say threat, but this message to the Americans was relayed by the Pakistanis to the
Americans. if you continue to attack us, you're going to pay for the consequences and you won't like these consequences.
So, it's getting more and more tense and complex by the minute the whole thing.
Uh if uh if Trump thinks that he's going to play a game of chicken and with Iran in Iran, he's going to chicken out. Wow.
Well, that tells you the level of advisor around him, right? or even the state of dementia in his three-year-old brain.
So the options once again are from the point of view of Iran they are they know that they are in a very
fragile situation that the attacks on their economy are huge but they still control and they will continue to control the straight up moves and they
22 minutesknow what happens to what this means for the American economy and for the global economy in a relatively short period of
only a few weeks ahead. So they have to stand strong for the next few weeks.
There are ways of doing it. So from tomorrow they will be calibrating how they are going to stay strong for the
next few weeks because they know that in a few weeks for Trump all options are closed.
There's there will be no easy way out for what he caused.
Yeah. Yeah. And uh it seems like uh Iran is already calibrating according to tanker trackers. A report is that 10
million barrels of crude oil from Iran has been shipped out almost immediately uh with the prediction that Pepe the
blockade I mean reinstituting the blockade reinstitution of the blockade which is quite possible. Yeah.
They do. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's just but what's what's what's almost crazy about this is what you just said is there is a time situation especially
with regard to oil and these oil reserves which could lead to a catastrophic economic crisis. Uh, so you
know, I know you have a column coming out soon. Pepe, maybe you can help us understand the the the big ramifications of this and and what you're hoping to uh
put out there in terms of why this war has restarted and what exactly is in the
cards here when it comes to the global ramifications of all of this because uh it seems like time is is really on
Iran's side. The United States doesn't seem to understand that or they don't care. What's your thoughts?
No, it's not they don't care, they don't understand it. It's it's much worse. Uh Danny, uh it's uh
it's I would say this is blatantly obvious. Nobody in the Trump administration actually read theou.
If they had read theou, they would at least know that there's a series of commitments
written signed by the president of the United States. So you have to fulfill your commitments and then we continue
with a negotiations for a period of 60 days which could be uh later um
extended. So obviously nobody read it because they they they start breaking theou
from day one which is the the Lebanon dossier and
uh with a this absolutely cheap provocation
earlier this week of telling uh tankers from uh U8 from uh one of them was from
Oman if I'm not mistaken one from Katar five tankers In the end, look, you turn off your transponders, you cross the
street of Hormuz without giving a damn about the IRGC Navy, you you follow uh yeah Omani territorial waters, and we're
going to be there to protect you. Guess what happened? They didn't protect anything and obviously all the five
tankers were hit by the RGC Navy. That was inevitable. So what was that? Was a
cheap provocation? Well, yes it was. It was a cheap provocation. So they could blame Iran like the president of the
United States is doing. They don't respect any treaty etc. They broke it.
No, the US broke it first. They did not respect what was written in theou. So
they used these tankers. So they have an the perfect excuse to restart bombing Iranian installations and Iranian
civilian infrastructure which is much much more hardcore.
26 minutesSo uh you know they are it's they are specialists in in uh basically breaking deals that they sign. So it's the it's
still the most uh applicable and perfect geopolitical definition of the 21st
century by our our good friend Grandmaster Sergey Lavro. The United States is nonaggreement capable. Russia
knows that. China knows that. Iran knew that, but still they tried. But now they they don't they don't care anymore.
Now they don't give a damn anymore because they know it's absolutely impossible. It's clear for them that there's only plan A for US Israel is
destroy Iran. Period. There's there's no plan B. So this means there's no diplomacy. There's no memorandum of
understanding. There's no discussing modalities, etc. And this after a strategic defeat, Danny, can you imagine if they had won the war? They lost the
war and they want to inflict on the victor their prejudices and their uh
well unqualifiable lack of grasp of a geopolitical, geoeconomic, and military situation.
What are they going to do? They're going to invade Iran. They can't. They're going to bomb Iran to smiththerines.
Doesn't matter. Iran will continue to survive and NOS is going to change.
They're going to provoke regime change in tan. They can't. Just look at what happened in the streets of Iran this week. There's nothing left for them. The
only offramp is sit down and discuss what you signed in the memorandum of understanding. And they blow it up.
So we all of us we are lost we are at a loss of words and arguments and philosophical abstractions whatever but
we just have to be stunned at how absolutely debented these people are. Well they are we know they are.
Yeah. I mean I was I I'm not surprised that the United States and Israel are doing this again. I was surprised a bit about the timing of it given everything
that you just noted especially including the uh the oil shock and and the economic crisis underway. I was a bit
shocked at the timing, but I wanted your uh assessment maybe you can help the audience understand the Omani corridor
situation because um not you know this is some people have said this is like the battle over the straight of hormuz
this the restart uh 10 what is it 11 12 days ago now even more intense uh uh in this current moment and so help us
understand what is this why how did it come to be I've seen some people on social media say Oman is betraying Iran
uh you know in this but I'm curious on if you could help us understand the actual dynamics at play and uh you know
it is a very precipitating factor in Iran hitting these tankers and then of course Trump using that as an excuse to go back to war.
Well I have uh this is privileged information and I'm sharing with you and our audience. I don't know if I talked
about this before in other in other places but I don't think so and this we got from the people at the table. Don't
forget that at the table the Pakistanis are the the key mediators but they are inputs from Qatar and Omar.
So what we heard from the people at the table is that for all practical purposes
and in terms of what they discussed the amir of Oman and the high level
delegate Iranian delegations that visited Muscat they are on Iran's side but because they
are very small sultenate relatively fragile they cannot possibly say that
out loud and antagonize the empire of bombing.
I think it fits the way they they are behaving.
But it's complicated because uh I think one of these tankers that broke the the
the Iranian rules set by the RGC Navy to transit the straight of Vermoose, one of
these tankers was Omani if I'm not mistaken. So that's okay. What is that double game betrayal?
So this has to be clarified and I'm sure the Iranians will be asking questions to to Oman. Was that a a private uh uh
shipper decision not coordinated with their government? Whatever. Was he bribed? You name it. So for all
practical purposes in terms of negotiations, Oman is leaning towards Iran, but they cannot afford to
antagonize the US directly. or did the US force this tanker to go through the Omani territorial waters? It's very very
complicated, ultra tricky and that's why this whole uh kabuki
of the of the mediation per se which uh Larry and I we are fortunate to have
access to what these guys are discussing on the table. But sometimes a lot of the information doesn't fit with what we
see. So we make an effort to go beyond and say okay maybe this is so deep deep deep
that we are just we're just going to see this game being played later on which is
quite possible. Uh the the intentions of the mediators are the best possible intentions because essentially they are
uh because they enjoy the trust of the Iranians and because they have theoretically Oman, Qatar and Saudi
Arabia behind them as well in terms of the MOU cannot fail. We have to
by all means necessary prevent that uh barbarian from restarting the war which is what he's doing this week already.
But uh there's lots of stuff that is lost in translation Danny and lost in
the shuffle and sometimes it doesn't add up.
just to to give an idea to all all of you our audience how complicated this stuff is. So uh for instance there are a
lot of people and I I respect their opinions. They say how can from one day to another you start believing or
trusting Saudi Arabia and Qatar. That's a very very good question
because okay the only uh rational answer to this question is that they are looking at the way the chess board is
moving and they know that they have to change their positioning because the wind is blowing towards Iran as a big
power in West Asia. So what are you going to do? You're going to go against it.
So that's the only logical rational explanation. I'm not saying this is the only explanation. There may be others
and double, you know, playing a double game could also be part of the whole thing. No question. We don't eliminate any any hypothesis.
Uh just to give all of you uh the measure of how tricky and tense the whole situation is,
you know, and who you going to trust, you know, very wow. It's it's beyond
complicated. We all know and I'm sure all of the players in West Asia know who they cannot trust.
That's more than that's more than obvious. Right. [laughter] Right. Yes, definitely. Um well uh then
the question is uh for you Pepe, you know, I wanted to ask you about the United States's particular target bank
here is very focused on the Persian Gulf, the southern Iranian coast.
Sarak, Peshum, Bonder Abbabas. And some have speculated
that this could be because perhaps the United States is actually angling toward
a possible uh uh ground invasion of some kind to capture some island. I mean, Car is always the one that's comes up. Some
have said maybe Keshum Island as some kind of I don't know fantastical idea of having some enforcement over the
straight of Hormuz. What do you make of that kind of uh potentiality? Because uh
Trump, you know, for all of his major flaws and all of what he represents uh in terms of dishonesty,
it is something he constantly brings up uh when war restarts. So what's your uh uh what's your thoughts on this?
Cashm is absolutely out of the question. It's hyper protected.
Uh you have everything anti- everything uh position all across Kashm. And what
are they going to do? They take over cash and how do they get to the to the mainland?
There's no way because the the southern part of the Persian Gulf uh bordering Kashm is ultra highly protected by the RGC navy as well. Car is very far away.
What's the point?
I'm very worried about Chabahar because Chabahar would be essential in terms of the Americas reinstating their blockade.
36 minutesBut if they reinstate their blockade, they are the ultimate losers because then nothing will move out of the
straight of our moose, which is exactly what the Americans seem not to want. In fact, we don't know, but apparently they
want their straight off unblocked. So if they block it again, it's their fault.
And of course this will have enormous repercussions among uh the Asian customers of everything that goes
through the straight of there will be a rebellion of the Asian customers. Some of them are uh let's say American
colonies certainly not China. China is different. But if China sees that Iranian tankers are blocked by the
Americans from going to China or Chinese exact Chinese tankers are blocked by the Americas uh to the east of the straight
of Mus they're going to the east of the Persian Gulf in Chavahar. They're going to do something obviously.
So all the option all the options in terms of a possible ground invasion for what and you won't control anything and
the Iranian response are are going to be in terms of harassing these so-called American forces that managed to
establish a bridge head somewhere. It's going to be hell.
This was already game and this was already game Denny and the Pentagon knows that what kind of hell will be over them.
Yeah. So all all options for them are absolutely lousy and they still insist
[laughter]
in bombarding the only option that will be um you know relatively manageable and
but but of course to start with let's try to get into the minds of these gangsters. Mhm.
To accept the memorandum of understanding is essentially in a glorified way accepting your strategic defeat.
Yeah.
Because you did not set the terms of theou Iran did. The 14 points are the 14 Iranian points, not your American points.
Right.
They it's psychologically for them is out of the question. They will never accept it. And this is something that
the Iranians should have foreseen from the beginning. In fact, many among the leadership did. For instance, everybody
in the RGC said this is [ __ ] But Arashi, Khalibah, Pzashkin, you
know, ah let's hear and of course very very important which is something that could change starting tomorrow.
Uh the best version that we have coming from people close to Mustava's inner
circle is that he deferred the decision about the ceasefire and theou to the
supreme national security council 13 members. Uh at least two of these are progressives including the president
possession. The other ones are mostly IRGC or IRGC linked. they're much more hardline but even them in the end
essentially Mustaba told them look if you have a solid majority go ahead I bless your decision so so I I think this
is the the best possible uh public version of what happened but now he can
change his mind because everybody's seeing for themselves that the Americans blew up theou that they signed so what's
the point of even continue to discuss an MOU uh which uh you know until the beginning
of this week we were according to the echoes that we had okay there's going there's a tentative date u Saturday July
11 for the delegation from the US delegation for Iran to go to Islamabad and restart the negotiations but this
was practically a done deal before the Americans decided to blow it
So now we restart with uh uh the death catou in fact, right? [laughter]
Yeah. And uh you know, Pepe, there's really only been one force that's been uh out, you know, outside of Iran. Uh
what I guess when we look at the war uh initiators, there's only been one force that's been very consistent in their position on restarting the war, and
that's been that's been Israel. Israel's defense ministry said that they are ready for round number three. They even named it as a round three of war. We
know that they're participating in these strikes. Um you know my when I heard two
days ago was it ago the US started conducting strikes again my first thought was you know Israeli and

at the prospect of even hitting the funeral itself. I don't have evidence of that, but I'm sure if they felt like they could, I don't think they I think
they were maybe a little too scared of Iranian air defenses, but if they I feel like a lot of this has to do with the funeral itself, how big it was, what was
being said there. the ships of of course the Trump administration is going to make a big deal about the tankers being hit. But why were they going through the
the that corridor in the first place during this? It was an obvious provocation. Um and obviously the United States has a lot to do with why they
were going through that corridor. So Febbe, what what are your thoughts on this? Uh the the the connection between the timing of these strikes and the funeral uh I can't can't be lost here.
Of course not because this is also a diversionist tactic, right?

all over the planet especially all across the global south
in terms of uh a popular manifestation of n

the global south, respected all across the global south and irrespective of uh
political persuasions, social classes, people from the big cities, from the rich neighborhoods to the poor
neighborhoods, from the provinces everywhere.
Not to mention in Iraq where people from all over Iraq, not only from Najaf and Carbala which are two relatively very
very very small places but from all over Iraq. This uh Shiite
solidarity Iran Iraq this is immensely powerful not only in the Muslim world among the
UMA but across the global south. So can you imagine the usual suspects looking
at that and u basically seeing that the people that
they support in the Arab world which is Salafi jihadi Wahhabi minorities
in fact uh total jihadists or salopists
and you know indoctrinated by online as salopists.
etc. which are a minority. They were completely isolated. And you see this uh popular demonstration of Shiite unity uh
in a few funeral ceremony rituals with something conducted with you know
extreme dignity with all these foreign delegations coming to Tehran to pay their respects and the tribute. So this
is a an immensely powerful message not only to West Asia but to the rest of the
planet. So they had to do something to divert the attention from it. So they start what do they do? They restart the bombing.
There you go.
It's it's what they do now. Uh they kill women, they kill children, they provoke a genocide, you know, they attack civilian infrastructure, they lie, they
cheat, they steal, as some of their lowly functionaries uh admit on the record and they start bombing all over
again. Their president, that's what their president says all the time. I'm fed up with this thing. I'm going to bomb again. Ah, no deal. Say, these
people are scum, so let's bomb them. So this is a and and I like some of one of the posters that Arashi wrote which was
something so elegant. He said look we're not going to reply to vulgarity with vulgarity. The vulgarity of the
government of the United States nowadays has has gone intergalactic in fact. And one of the things that
46 minuteskeep the profile of Iran in terms of soft power all over the world is that they are elegant that you know they are
they are extremely civilized dealing with a bunch of gangsters and they're not going to change. They're not start
uh you know hurling insults against anybody in the US. No, it's not how they do it. And when you look uh how they
organized the ceremonies honoring their assassinated leader, how elegant
the whole thing was. And this was recognized by the foreign delegations that some of them sent delegations at the highest level. The Russians sent the
number two in the government. They sent med that's a pretty pretty big statement. The Chinese sent a parliamentary
ultra high level uh delegation. So that's it. It's the it's it's I would say that this is the
ultra sharp contrast between civilization and barbarism.
And going on a more uh pop culture note, we have the president of the United
States who thinks that he can steal uh a decision in the World Cup, which is
the number one sports event on the planet by forcing the president of FIFA to cancel a red card, which is something
that never happened in the history of football. So this tells everybody everything they need to know. That's it.
This is the pop culture example of this is a bunch of [ __ ] gangsters.
Yeah. And just the way that the Iranian uh football team was treated uh in and out of the country, they couldn't even stay in the country.
And this everybody in the global south, Denny, they saw everything that the Americas and FIFA together did to let's get rid of Iran.

You know, so they exit with their honor up there with the respect of the whole footballing world and the respect of the
whole global south because they saw what was happen.
Yeah, there is a country at war. This is a country that just until recently had been under sanctions. Of course, those sanctions are back on, but they were
only lifted for a matter of days. So here is exactly what Abasachi said. As you said, addressing the civilized and
courageous nation of Iran with derogatory language does not diminish its greatness. Iranians are known for their civility, culture, and strong moral values. We don't answer vulgarity
with vulgarity, but with action, fearlessly with great valor. And you know, Pepe, I think,
right, Denny, this is this is definitely not war.
Yeah. Yeah. And I think uh Pepe some might misunderstand Iran in the sense that um you know people get really
worried as we all should be when a major war is restarting but I think there's actually a lot of calculations being
made that are actually strategic in the sense that uh while Iran of course views these strikes as significant and any
attack on it is significant uh we even have today TASM just reported as we've been speaking that there has been the
Mashad railway line restored in a matter of hours.
Very impressive. They did that in a matter of hours, Danny. Amazing.
Indicating that uh either these strikes were either ineffective or not as strong
as uh assumed when Senscom, you know, put pushes its chest out and Trump pushes his chest out. uh but also that
Iran is is very much prepared and uh perhaps calculating exactly how severe
this recent this new escalation is because it as you said it's an escalation ladder it is not a dive it is
not a dive into the pool so to speak so your thoughts on this I don't I don't think a lot of people understand this in particular because maybe in the US and
the west a lot of times when uh there are attacks on maybe smaller countries or perceived weaker countries countries
that uh the the thought process is well if they're not stopped ASAP there's going to be a major catastrophe. I don't
think Iran is operating along those lines. Uh your your thoughts on this?
They are not coming coming back to what we were discussing a few minutes ago.
There are different uh schools of thought and discussion in Iran at the moment on uh how should we proceed from
now on. uh we keep uh strategic patience, we get a little more hardcore or we go total hardcore.
So uh there's for the moment it seems there is no consensus. This is being actively debated in Iranian platforms
everywhere and of course the attention of everyone at the moment is on the funeral ceremony. So this is the last
day starting tomorrow. The attention of the country once again will be totally focused on the return of the escalation
ladder and how should Iran react. They don't take their decisions impulsively.
This is very very important. Number one.
Number two, from now on after daddy Kame let's put it this way to be
affectionate is buried now the whole responsibility is on the hands of his son on Mushtaba.
So how will Mushtaba imprint his total authority after
uh okay we closed the previous era we start a new one
uh Mustaba is the leader he enjoys consensual respect from the political vector and the military vector.
The nation is under an existential threat is being bombed again. the economy is in a very very very
complicated state. So what will be his major decisions and that includes of course how from now on
are we going to tweak our response to the empire totally out of control. So this will be the big question starting
tomorrow and depending on what they will be discussing we're going to see examples in how they're going to handle the
possibility of um a return of the negotiations mediated by the
Pakistanis. The Pakistanis are telling us that they are doing everything they can to try to bridge the unbridgeidgeable gap.
Everybody and that's and that I mean everybody. Turkey, Egypt, Saudi, Qatar,
53 minutesOman, Emirates doesn't count because Emirates they are still at war with Iran and it's later. But the Pakistani said look we're trying to get Emirates on
board but it's a long process. Everybody wants to okay let's have some sort of at least civilized discussion.
Is it possible with this president of the United States? Everybody knows it's not but and they are still trying.
So that's it. Now uh in a certain sense the ball is in
leader Moshaba Kame's uh court now. He is going to decide
are we going to continue with a variation of strategic patience? Is our patients exhausted?
Are we going to inflict serious damage to the United States or we don't do
anything? We just wait because we know there are a few deadlines that are totally adverse to the Trump
administration coming. So that's where we are, Denny, at the moment. Big big crossroads, huh?
Yeah. Yeah. And uh I'll just pull this up uh so people can get a sense of just how big it is right now.
Wow. This is I mean it's an incredible scene.
And it makes me wonder with all the video circulating of uh Trump uh heads
and and Trump posters being stoned in Iran. And I'm just wondering, Pepe, you know, are these strikes going to change
their minds about uh the uh current situation with the war and their take on it, which is, you know, revenge and uh
getting justice for the crimes that have committed, not least the uh assassination and the murder of the
Supreme Leader and his family, but also how about the thousands of others who were killed, the hundreds of children
who were killed, including 168 and in in just a strike uh in Manab. So this uh
this is another factor I've been asking uh people to comment on uh the people factor like this is a big part of US war
is to be able to push the internal situation inside of a country into either instability or a favorable
political situation uh toward US ends and Israeli ends. this doesn't seem to be uh the recipe for success in that in
that uh arena. Pepe, your thoughts about that?
Oh, no, definitely not. Um Danny, there is a national consensus that uh you can
frame it as revenge, but this is too reductionist uh explanation in terms of
uh no, they're going to have to pay for what they did, right? They attacked us directly unprovoked.
They killed our leader. They killed a great deal of our political leadership.
They bombed us. They continue to bomb us. They said that they will stop and they will sit on the table and discuss it and they bombed the discussion over
and over again. So how can we possibly tr and the element of trust and this is something that now you can see in some
of the things that uh coming from the majis coming from the ministry of foreign relations said there was never any element of trust with them we knew
we couldn't trust them from the beginning and now we have proof after proof after proof that they are untrustworthy but what does that mean we're going to
have uh a a system of no war no peace lasting indefinite ely
Iran cannot live with that. Iran cannot properly function with that. They need to start rebuilding.
Uh there won't be any closure of course and uh some sort of revenge about the assassination of leader.
This is something that could last for years the process until they get there.
And they are very very don't forget Shiites are extremely patient. They don't they do things in a rash way.
Forget it. But in terms of normalizing life in Iran, they need it for the
system and for the population and normalizing with the neighbors which is a process that has already started.
For for instance uh the normalization with the rest of West Asia is possible.
Uh the only vector that is totally impossible is of course the death cult Israel. But nobody normalizes with Israel by definition. This is impossible.
But Iran reemerging as a big power in West Asia and a big power in the global south, they need to start of course
healing, rebuilding u rebuilding the relationships with the neighbors uh the new security architecture of West Asia
which will basically involve Iran, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia essentially.
So for all that to start moving uh in a I wouldn't say high velocity but at
least some velocity at least they have to make sure that they won't be bombed by the United States every week. It's as simple as
that, you know, and there's no guarantee with this president. There's no guarantee. Yeah.
Because he does not respect the laws of common I would not even say diplomacy, but common sense. No.
And even acting in his own interest, he knows that he has a a potential catastrophe around the corner for his
country, his economy, and the global economy. and he still behaves like a bloody stupid brat with a the brain of a [ __ ] whatever. It's ridiculous.

Trump's Treachery Has Killed The Prospects For Peace With Iran

This week, after Trump's repeated attempts to alter the status quo in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian forces targeted Saudi and Qatari vessels that attempted to transit the Strait without Iranian permission.

The White House responded by ordering strikes on land-based targets in Iran. Those strikes killed and wounded numerous Iranians. Trump then declared that the Memorandum of Understanding was "over".

From the holy city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran, Dimitri Lascaris breaks down these developments and describes the mood of the Iranian people. As Dimitri explains, Iranians remain as defiant as ever.

I'm going
to
US President Donald Trump has just declared that the memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Republic of Adan is over and US military forces
at his command are currently bombing the country. This is Dimmitri Lasceras coming to you from the city of Mashad in
the northeast of Iran. I'm going to talk to you today from this location uh the Imam Resa Shrine about the dramatic
1 minutedevelopments of the last . Uh but before we get into it, please remember if you find this video to be informative, like and share it please.

our unapologetic on the ground resistance journalism to as broad an audience as possible. So with that, let's get into it. First of all, a few
words about where I am currently situated. The ImmA shrine is not only enormous, it is an architectural marvel.
This is the first time I've seen it with my own eyes uh in my lifetime. And uh it would take days to truly appreciate the
wonder of this place. Uh it is the mausoleim of the uh eighth imam of Shia
Islam, Ali Alarida and it is uh visited every year by approximately 30 million
pilgrims. It is the most visited pilgrimage site in Islam. uh so uh an a
historically uh important and uh holy site uh for this important branch of
Islam. Now uh we have come here today because uh this will be the site of the
final burial of uh the martyed supreme leader of Iran Ali Kamei. The authorities have been conducting with uh
impressive organizational skill a 7-day funeral program spanning numerous cities
in Iran and Iraq. And uh tomorrow will be the seventh and final day of this uh
funeral program in which certainly well in excess of 10 million and possibly 20 million mourers will have participated
by the time all is said and done. Uh the I understand the coffin of the martyed supreme leader and the coffins of his family members are in transit to Mashad.
They are coming here from Iraq where they were yesterday where they were received also by uh large crowds of mourners uh overwhelmingly of the Shia
Muslim faith. And uh we are expecting tomorrow that there are going to be millions of people here uh and not simply from Mashad which is the second
largest city in Iran having a population of 3.4 million and not simply from Iran uh but from uh other countries around the world.
Now what has happened in the last uh or so? Well, it began with uh yet another attempt by ships associated with
vassels, the Arab autocratic vassels of Washington to transit through the straight of Hormuz uh without the
permission of the Iranian military. Let me remind you that when theou was signed, the uh Iranian military was
firmly in control of the straight of Hormuz and had made it crystal clear that no vessel was permitted to pass
through the strait without the consent of the Adanian military. That was the status quo and theou explicitly requires
that the parties to theou will maintain the status quo during the 60-day negotiation period. And I think we're about 2 or 3 weeks into that now,
although precious little negotiation has actually transpired. So, in violation of the agreement, and these are by no means
the only violations of the agreement by Washington, uh, and I'll get back to that in a few minutes, uh, the, uh, US
military was trying to guide, uh, not necessarily with, uh, you know, naval
escort, but, uh, with u, uh, you know, uh, satellite positioning or intelligence, uh, guide vessels from uh, vassal states.
through the straight of Hormuz. And so, uh, the Iranians, I think, were making an effort not to, uh, respond to this
situation during the funeral of Imam Kamini. But uh apparently uh they had enough about uh ago and
attacked uh several vessels uh commercial vessels uh that were attempting to pass through the straight of Hormuz through what has become known
as the Omani lane uh a sea lane that hugs the coast of Oman. And uh we are
pretty certain that at least two vessels were struck by a Nidanian projectile.
one uh from Qatar, possibly an LG tanker, and that would be the first time that an an LNG tanker from Qatar was
struck by Iran uh since the criminal war of aggression began. And another uh
superlar tanker associated with Saudi Arabia and uh it's possible that as many as five uh vessels were struck by Iran.
Now, none of them suffered catastrophic damage. I have seen no reports of any casualties, any persons being wounded or
killed on these vessels. Uh but nonetheless, the United States decided to react with deadly force. It didn't
simply attack Iranian ships. It attacked uh land-based targets uh including the port of Bandar Abbas where I was in
March of this year during the hot phase of the war. And uh it uh there are videos circulating of explosions at the port of Bandar Ababas. And although the
US will invariably claim that they were military targets, the Iranians say uh that they were attacking fishing boats and civilian facilities. And I can tell
you from having been in Busher uh which is also on the Persian Gulf during the uh this is another Iranian port city on
the Persian Gulf during the hot phase of the war that the US and Israel do strike uh civilian facilities at Iranian ports.
I saw this with my own eyes. Uh there were uh ships uh passenger fairies, commercial passenger fairies, five of
them if I recall correctly at the uh maritime terminal in Busher that had been completely destroyed uh by attacks
making it impossible uh for uh the authorities there to transport uh tourists to and from that port. It is uh
normally as they explained to us a very busy uh uh port facility for uh Iranian tourism but it had been put completely
out of action. So we don't know for sure what was struck at the port of Bandar Ababas. Also in Sidic another uh city in
southern Iran there were uh strikes. We don't know exactly what was struck there. The Americans say these were
military facilities. The over 80 actually over 80 targets. That's what SenCom has said. uh whereas the Iranians
say that at least some of them were civilian. The Iranian military has uh stated however that one uh uh member of
the uh Iran Iranian uh Revolutionary Guard Corps, the IRGC was killed in these strikes and numerous other
Iranians have been wounded. So whereas the um the Iranian attacks on these vessels killed no one, wounded no one,
and did no catastrophic damage, the US has responded after it violated the undertaking not to change the status
quo. It has responded with deadly force and by striking land-based targets, allegedly a number of them civilian in nature. So this is a major escalation.
At the end of the day, uh this is going to precipitate a major retaliatory response uh by the Islamic Republic and
that is exactly what it has done. Uh it has fired uh missiles and drones at the US naval base in Badain and uh at the uh
US air base in Kuwait. uh they have not uh been kicked out of the country of those countries, the Americans uh and
continue to pose a serious threat to uh the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people and uh almost certainly
participated in some way or another uh in the criminal war of aggression on Iran. So they are, as the Iranian
government rightly contends, legitimate targets uh for this type of retaliatory response. And then Donald Trump while he
was down. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Down with Amria.

I thought I should allow that man to say his piece. Uh in any case uh so the United States is engaged in a
major escalation. Now to make matters even worse uh you know uh Trump after declaring or around the time that he declared at the the NATO summit another
gathering with his vassels where they're plotting some uh insanely aggressive escalation in the war the US Ukrainian
proxy war on Russia. Uh we learned that the United States has reimposed
sanctions on Iranian oil. Uh the sanctions had been uh temporarily lifted for only something like six or seven
days. Uh so that was extremely short-lived. And uh I must say that uh this virtually guarantees in my view
that theou is in fact over. And the reason that I say that is that the only benefit that Iran was getting out of
thisou was uh the ability to sell its oil because the blockade had been lifted and because the sanctions had been
suspended. Now if Idridan doesn't uh have the ability to sell its oil either because the blockade has been reimposed
and so far as far as we know the US has not yet done that although it may do so imminently. uh but even if it's just a matter of the sanctions being reimposed
that is going to impede its ability to sell its oil enormously and so the one benefit it had under the agreement has been taken away. Uh in the meantime the
US is refusing to turn over any of Iran's frozen assets or I should say stolen assets. The US is uh doing
nothing to force Israel to withdraw from uh Lebanon or from occupied Palestinian territory in Gaza. And in fact, uh,
Israel continues to kill civilians both in occupied territories in Palestine and
in South Lebanon. Uh, the, uh, US is continuously threatening Iran. Uh, Trump
is using genocidal language, has done so on at least two occasions since theou was signed, and the, uh,ou explicitly
prohibits the threat of the use of force by either party to the uh, memorandum of understanding.
Uh and so uh there is a whole litany of violations that have been committed by the Trump regime and the one significant
benefit that Iran uh had under this agreement was actually receiving under this agreement has now been taken away.
So why would Iran at this stage continue to comply with its obligations under theou? And I can tell you from having uh
interacted with countless ordinary Iranians, interviewed a number of them in these gigantic uh processions in honor of the martyed uh supreme leader.
There is very little uh appetite already. Even before the events of the past , there was extremely
little appetite amongst, as far as I can tell, most Iranians for any kind of discussion with uh the uh Trump regime.
Over and over again, I heard Iranians uh complain of the US government's arrogance and they referred to Donald
Trump as a big liar. So um I am uh uh increasingly of the view that what we're
about to see is another closure of the straight of Hormuz. Uh even if the current levels of traffic persist for
ome weeks uh in the straight of Hormuz, which is about let's say 30 vessels a day, uh that is still uh you know less
than 25% of the pre-war traffic at a time when uh oil inventories around the
world are dangerously low. So uh this is again going to uh precipitate or exacerbate the looming glo global oil
crisis. And then of course there are other key commodities uh that come out of the straight of Hormuz uh like sulfur
and helium and um fertilizer and sulfuric acid. So uh you know quite apart from the situation with the oil
and gas uh markets uh this is uh just spells uh serious serious trouble for the global economy. a very fragile
global economy and one that is uh characterized uh certainly in western stock markets by a massive bubble
primarily driven by uh fantasies around uh artificial intelligence uh but that's a whole other story uh my friends in any
case um I uh would imagine that we are about to see a rapid deterioration of the situation in the straight of Hormuz
uh and I don't think that this round of bombing is going to end quickly I hope I'm wrong about that. Uh and it may well expand uh to the interior of Iran. So
far uh as far as we can tell from Sentcom's statements and from uh the press reports uh the US uh strikes on
land-based targets are confined to the southern coast of Iran. Now we are at the opposite end of Iran. Whereas the uh
the violence perpetrated by the Trump regime and the US military is happening in the southwestern part of Iran. We are
in the northeastern part of Iran. Uh we are approximate I I don't know the exact distance but we're quite close uh to uh
relatively speaking uh the border with Turkmanistan and with Afghanistan.
Uh this probably is a relatively difficult part of the country for uh the
US military to strike uh without taking uh serious risk of having uh its uh its
aircraft uh taken out by Iranian air defenses. And uh so I don't anticipate we're going to see uh any bombing in
this particular area. Although you never know. I wouldn't rule that out. And um whatever uh may or may not happen in the
days ahead in the area of Mashad uh I can tell you the mood here is not one of capitulation. Uh in fact as I was
walking in I uh saw people chanting uh and I heard and recorded people chanting uh death to America and death to Israel.
So, um, I'm going to share with you, uh, the video of what I saw as I first entered. What you're seeing, what you're
going to see in this video, uh, is what I saw for the very first time in my life. Thank you very much.
Um, you know, as I entered uh this uh this marvelous uh shrine, it's truly uh something to behold. Uh, I'm now going
to uh sign off again by sharing this uh video footage with you that I just took of this complex. Uh, I want to add that
I've only seen a a portion of it, a small portion of it. I've been inside for about . Uh, and I, uh, I
